Wow I love that your body is ready! Sorry, I have no idea on reducing the leakage but I’ll advice you use breast pads so you don’t get soaked.

Thanks so much for checking up on me mama. I'm fine but I was advised to rest well after d surgery, d healing process is still ongoing and I still go to d hospital for check-up. MIL and DH are on my case cos I cant even hold my phone in peace. They want me to rest 24/7 >:. I can't do anything online for now. Team March mama's make una no vex for me o, pls any of the mama's should kindly help out with roll call and BA/Bs update. I will post my BS when I'm stronger.

Loyal and wonderful April mamas. How are we all waddling. Our much anticipated month is just a few hours away. Am supper sure our complexion are a but darkened now as we approach our edds. The Lord is our strength. Just feel I should highlight a few items we may likely forget as we are about zipping our bags.
*Baby FORMULA for the first few day in case ur breast doesn't respond immdiately
*slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste
*Beverages ie tea and milk
*Glucose
*Flask and hot water
Along with ur hospital bag.
Wishing us all supernatural delivery. It shall end in praise.

April mama i greet o. I went to the hospital for my 38th week visit and the doctor checked my cervix and said it is till closed. I wondered if i am suppose to be dilating at this time. I thot dilation starts when the contraction starts. Sabi mamas abeg, are you suppose to be dilating even before contraction cos me i am not feeling any contractions at dis time.

I think some cervix starts opening by 37th week...depends on the body tho

I don't know the reason why o. My breast is small so the pregnancy made it bigger a bit and that's how it has been pouring too

I eat normal food o, take fruits also but I drink liquid a lot ranging from custard to pap, oats, tea, kunu and juice and it's all part of the craving though.. My water intake is excess sef. So I don't know what is really different o

I’m praying to port from late April to early April o pls what do you ppl think about inducing labour at 38weeks or 38+ no health issue at all, just so One won’t be out of homebase for too long since Hospital is in another location entirely that needs one relocating to birth there and to be sure same Gynae is Available to attend (not new face). Plenty flimsy excuses sha. Before one will end up outside base for one month (40weeks or plus and end up with same induction)

I am starting this thread so we can discuss pregnancy and all the joys, anticipation, expectation and all aspects of this beautiful time in a woman's life.
At times pregnancy can be very difficult and may even become life threatening, when conditions such as pre-eclamsia,gestational diabetes, Incompetent cervix, PPROM etc. So lets use this space to discuss all aspects of this process.

Nothing in relation to pregnancy is off limits, lets share our experience and support each other in a caring respectful way. Doctors can only give so much advice, but i know first hand peer support is equally important.

So lets start talking!

Below are a list of ladies that have included their delivery dates, lets keep them in mind by praying and meditating and sending them positive energy, I will update the list reguarly, just include the month you are due. I will also update once you confirmed you have delivered. This will allow ladies to see others that are due around the same time as themselves and perhaps you may find a pregnancy "buddy". Abeg if hubby want the milk let him ask for it simple. Which one be to pump and store before baby arrive? You are lactating well so no need to store it. Baby should take it fresh from source. wink

For the baby's weight, I don't know how Lipton helps but I heard that it slims babies
