I can see that u aplied in IKeja.To do the online tracking,use the number that starts with IKAC/, /1,that is yo applicant refrence number.You would also be asked to provide yo date of birth too.

i will submit my uk student visa application hopefully on 3rd of september,08, my course starts on 22nd of sep,08, so do i need an extension letter from my college or do i have enough time.

and can you give some advise regarding the questions in the visa form:

1:my real uncle is sponsoring me, how should i answer the following question:

why is he sponsring you?

2:My course is BCS diploma in IT< duration 1 year>, I plan to get the PROFESSIONAL GRADUATE DIPLOMA from the same college after I finish my diploma, SO SHOULD I MENTION THIS IN THE VISA FORM OR I SHOULD WRITE THAT I WILL RETURN AFTER FINISHING MY COURSE{mentioned earlier}

my brother,i no go lie U,the timing of yo application isn't so good.U could av at least applied 4 wks fore the commencement of yo course.ny way,U could still be lucky.Every one needs an element of that these days to sail thru at the BHC.

british airways offer cheap rates for student travellers but they would need yo letter of aaceptance from the varsity and a photocopy of both yo visa page n data page of the int'l passport to do that. it's about 113K .the choice is yours

thanks for your reply ; but like i said we don't have the same surename .and my mother does not have the same surname with him . he is my mothers half brother . what do u think about the affidavit now ,

U need not get an affidavit my dear to show kinship ok,however u may include a valid means of Identification like int'l passport or drivin licence.But most importantly is that he establishes the relationship b/w u guys in his sposorship letter.If u av a photograph u took wiv him,u may include that tho it may matter so much t the ECO reviewing yo application but the u never can tell

U mean u're this desperate?endangering yo life wivout a worthy cause is pure folly.

The life u want to escape to abroad might not actually be as attractive as been touted in many quarters.U should plan yo life better whilst still in Naija and leave only when u av a very good reason to travel.That way u will add mo value to our blessed country when u do get back.

MY SPNOSOR IS MY UNCLE BUT HE DOES NOT HAVE THE SAME NAME WITH ME . HOW DO You THINK I CAN DO THAT , SHOULD I SWEAR AN AFFIDAVITE THAT HE IS MY UNCLE? PLS TELL ME

the affidavit was for the error in my waec certificate and NYSc discharge certificates.

U don't need to swear any affidavit to show that he is yo Uncle,i mean it's ridiculous n akin to swearing Affidavit that yo dad is yo biological father(LOl)

Nyway,if it would surfice,get his Id and let him state categorically clear in the sponsorship letter that he is yo uncle n also the reason why he is funding yo studies.

It is better for you to book appointment at www.ukvac-ng.com before you go to submit.
I did for my sister at the VAC in Zenon House and submission was easy, if you did not book online before going, you will have to wait for those that book online to submit first before you can do yours.
I prefer you go to the one on the island as I hear the Ikeja is always so packed full of people and they are not organized.

that may not be entirely true cos i submitted in the VAC in VI and noticed no such thing.I even accompanied another applicant last week who submitted last week and he submitted wivout any online appointment.
