If you are in Abj, then you can take it there by hand. Otherwise post it.

Meanwhile, an internet search brought this http://eacea.ec.europa.eu/erasmus_mundus/results_compendia/selected_projects_action_1_master_courses_en.php
You will need to filter out the one that interests you.

Your GRE scores are good. Well done. Which programs are you applying for?

Unless someone has a large mouth and goes about telling any and every school that he RAed with a senior lecturer in naija, no university will ever know.

Every university will assume that you RAed with a faculty. That is what is important. However, make sure the lecturer is very willing to write excellent letters of recommendation for you when you need them.

I'm looking at NJIT, Wisconsin, northeastern, maybe LSU. . . electrical energy systems

I seem to remember reading somewhere that you went to lag?. . .what faculty/year?

Okay, good. Those ones are not outside of your reach. Yeah, I graduated lag science after Ibidapo's home was set alight lol. The RA stuff should help you too. But, the four schools will attract nothing less than 350$$ in application fees, I would even advice that you widen your reach. 4 is too narrow.

Thanks Gannnnn bosss @tanimola you too much, I ve checked it out the deadlines for aall the related courses have passed, as regards the DAAD application I will send it by post cos am based in lagos or what do you suggest
Hi Deolu, I won't leave Lagos for Abuja solely to submit the application. It is not worth it. The regular mail will do just fine. You may later call to ask if your application has been received.

Hahahaha Senior lol cheesy

Try at most five tier one universities, but more of tier 2 and below universities. You could just be lucky, you know.

For EE, I suggest you try:

University of Texas Arlington
University of California Riverside
Illinois Institute of Tech
University of Tennessee Knoxville
New Jersey Institute of Tech
University of Arizona
Missouri Sci & Tech
John Hopkins University

^^^^

Hi Deolu,

Most Scholarships have closed now, I won't lie to you. The applications are usually open around September and close around February of the next year. This is the fact.

I suggest you strengthen yourself before September reaches, so that you can start applying to schools much, much earlier.

Regards,
T22.

Hi everyone, i am new on this thread, please i need GRE materials, please kindly help me as my test date is fast approaching.
Re: Preparing for GRE by ibnhasan:
@jamebex: I was rejected at KAUST. But you shouldn't let that discourage you. When you apply you should try to contact a professor, that may help because I learnt some people did and where selected. Goodluck!

I think alot of veterans dont visit very often anymore so let me offer some help.

1. Most school in canada will need a gpa 4.0/5.0 above. Note: i said most. Secondly the idea of good school is tied to you major. A highly reputed school in Eng might not be in psycology thus you need to define your niche. For american schools you can get into quite a number of good schools. And have in mind the admission process is a whole package which Gpa is just a part.

2. You most likely will need Gre for any reputable school

3. Most deadline is towards early Nov and early Jan so if you want to start sept 2013 you start off immidiately.

336? Huh?? Woah! That's quite unachievable. Lol.
Look, i'm in no way mediocre. I believe in aiming high, and I, in no way, wish to deter you but lets be realistic. That score may just not be achievable. Why? The English section! You'd definitely not know all the 40 questions - the vocabulary alone is unsettling. Even Kaplan, Grubers have written to native english speakers that they'd surely meet words they haven't met before! If the native speakers don't know all, why try to blow your brains with all the words. Yea, preparing makes you do well but a 170 on the english section?? I don't think so.
Nevertheless, 170 on the math section is achievable. Cheers.
