someone taught me to pinch out the nips with my hand and put in his mouth while he sucks, did that this morning and there's a level of improvement.. little by little lol

if she is adding weight u gat no problem... If she is feelin discomfort frm teething h can give r paracetamol to ease d discomfort.

she is not eating well so she is not adding weaight as she should most times it even a struggle for her to eat 3-4tikes daily. When u try to give her food she will just tighten her mouth dat d bottle or spoon won't be able to pass through. So am concern if she getting a right amount o nutrient she is suppose to get when she rats

It's normal with exclusively breastfed babies, they can go days without pooing.

Normally mothers r not suppose to bath babies with soap n rub dis skincare products on new babies dt r not up to 6weeks old... New baby skin get irritated easily n it bcms inflamed wen u apply dis products on dem... D only safe tin u can apply on baby skin frm 0weeks r shea butter, coconut oil n olive oil n nva put anytin in der bathin water... N moreova, i dnt knw where our mothers get d idea of putting dettol or oda disinfectant inside baby water... Baby skin is too delicate 4 all did harsh stuff n using just ordinary water wit no soap wont hurt ur baby... Babies r not dirty n dey wont ve body odour as it is bein speculated... Its a pity dt baby ve to use steroid cream to get rid of d ela cs ela can b very stubborn.

4 natural remedy u can get a dry almond leave dt fell on d floor... Wash properly n use it to bath baby... Pls dont give baby to drink abeg n mk sure baby don swallow lw wen usin it to bath baby n get original shea butter to use on baby skin or coconut oil.... Ela is a fungi infectn n fungi n coconut oil r not friends cs it breaks up it barriers n stop fungi frm growing. Or get red calipha leave... It works perfectly too... How to use it is in d pix below... Mind u dont give baby to drink ooo, na God i tk beg u... I aint a fan of steroid cream... Not good 4 anybody... Good evening mamas, my 5day old baby still hasn't collected my breast o. Had him through cs and so the nurses already fed him Nan, my breast didn't bring out milk on time so I continue with Nan.
When breast brought out milk nipple no gree commot again, I have a very small nipple.. now he is use to feeding bottle long mouth he doesn't even have patience to lactatte on my nips .. he just start crying when I try to breast feed him and happily rush feeder. . So we had to get bress pumping machine to be pumping milk out for him to drink which isn't the best option to be honest. I am just so frustrated.

Sorry about this mama. This was the exact thing that happened to me. I had my baby boy through cs in April and wasn't able to breastfeed him immediately. I tried from the 3rd or 4th day and he refused sucking directly from my breast. This gave me lots of concern. Tho I pumped using an electric breastpump but the milk was flowing sooo much, but was able to bottle feed him with whatever quantity I goy and complement with NAN 1. This went on for about 2weeks, I was still also try to breastfeed him, but once he doesn't feel the flow he feels with the bottle, he got angry and removes his mouth and cries uncontrollably. I kept on till one time during the second week, I tried again and he sucked for about 2/3minutes for the first time......I kept trying till he started sucking well, the pain on my nipple wasn't funny but he helped me bring out my nipple and my milk started flowing well. My boy is almost 11weeks now and he doesn't even want the bottle anymore, he prefers my breast to bottle.
So just take your time and keep trying while you still feed him with the bottle

Mama, have you tried massaging your boobs while he is on them? Like pressing from up to down, so the milk drops without him sucking much. It will mimic the speed which bottles let down milk, and encourage him to stay longer, nursing.

Mine too o...he'll squeeze his lips, anyone around me then will open his lips, so I can put my nipple in his mouth...the nipple sef was inverted then. The guy will just open eyes, squeeze his face and look at me with disgust�...it was the breast pump that helped my nipple out, but the guy still refused. He started sucking at about 3weeks but sleeps off on the breast. He loved bottles like wetin I no know. He just suddenly stopped bottle and preferred breast. Now I'm trying to make him like his bottles again cos I'm doing ebf for 6months

These babies are the same, lool.. I'm hopeful he will change cos mine also gave me tough time, but I kept at it till it worked.

i wish my twin can do same, they have rejected bottle and prefers breastfeeding, even though we started with bottles right from the hospital, they keep wasting milk, I’m just tired
