We even discussed dis yesterday with d nurses when I went for my baby's immunization @ UCH. The reason is dt bosom milk is 70% water and may leave little or no waste product for babies to pass so ur baby is perfect. If u so desire her to pass stool, u can achieve dis naturally without having to buy any medicine, just increase ur fibre intake, foods like beans, pawpaw, pineapple, oranges, vegetable can be taken with moderation cos u don't want to irritate ur baby's intestine by causing her to purge if its too much.then as for the grunts, and cry, ur baby needs to be burped often after EACH feed. When babies are trying to latch on to feed, they swallow lots of air, its d air that forms bubbles in baby's tommy causing discomfort and grunting, also if u take drinks dt has gas, it fills ur baby's tommy resulting in discomfort. U don't need to give her drugs, I've tried this with my second son, it wrks. Burp ur baby after each feed, reduce gassy drinks and eat right, trust me, u won't have to visit d pharmacy for a loooong time. Goodluck

Apply coconut oil often, I used dis on my son wen he was 2 wks, for diaper rash and d one like balls, in days they dissappered. Coconut oil is actually antibacterial. Just google coconut oil uses.

maxiflexi: Daycare has been a huge help but my 10 month daughter learnt to suck finger from her classmates. I tap her hand whenever she does it & she stops for a while. She completely stopped during august break when they were fewer kids, but now, she can't sleep without sucking her fingers!!! She is there from 7.30-6pm every weekday. How do I stop her? There's nothing much u can do cos sh spends most of d day there&as long as sh's stil around dat persn dat sucks hand,sh'l continue.

Children learn by sight.Let's hope both sh&d child in her sch wil out grow d habit but my advice is dat wen sh's wit u,b removing her hand wen sh's sucking.U can b wearing her socks wen sh's sleepin.If sh sucks d socks&its unpleasant,sh'l remove d hand.

If u change creche,how ar u sure dat there won't b a child dat sucks hand there.Even if there's none at dat tym,they might admit one lateron moreova,there's no need of takin her frm creche 2creche.If sh's adapting well there&her care givers ar good,u can continue wit dem. Goodluck

Well according to research,coconut has this particular acid that keeps baby's natural immunity intact after delivery. Instead of washing it off the skin after bathing,coconut oil locks the pores and keeps baby safe.
