He poos well which means like 2 times or more daily depending on the way he feeds from birth. Green poo for exclusively breastfed babies mean he's not getting enof feed,he's either getting foremilk only n not hind milk or he's. Or getting full on breast milk only.The same happened to my baby too at 4m.

Did your child take any iron supplement with his malaria drugs? If yes, that is the cause of the black stool. Same thing happened to my son in the same age range.

Mine did that also,but do not panick, he is trying to put on weight but go and meet your pediatrician and hear what he has to say. Another thing i did was take Cotton bud and dip it in a balm that is not too hot and insert it in his anus. You will see wonder. Godluck.

I used Peak 1-2-3 for my toddlers until someone mentioned that Nido was better as it had more nutrients. Naturally curious, i compared the two products and Nido has almost double of whatever Peak has on their pack. I ported straight to Nido and i have not looked back once. It also helped that my two boys did not react to it and took it in their stride.

I did it. For my first, i waited till he was 1 yr because he is such a picky eater but for the second one, i gave him from 7 months. He was okay. No issues. He also had a ravenous appetite and could eat anything, literally anything. At 6 months, he was already eating a sizable portion of semo and soup. First read the instructions on the packet and then ask your pediatrician. I feel 8 months is okay to start him on oats because of the consistency instead of just pap.

@veronix thanx for the response. I tried the cotton bud thingy. 2ce within 4 days. But nothing came out & I'm not too comfortable doing it often cos I feel it's not fair on the little guy. You know?
