This rhetoric was OK till May 29th, 2016.

Jonathan, OBJ, PDP, and every other Nigerian leader, and party, have screwed the people right, left, front, back, and center, now what are you going to do about it?

The plans/theories for some part are alright, but the execution is piss poor slow! The country is in a dire situation. If we have to wait till the time some of these things materialize, a good portion of the populace will either be dead or bed ridden!

APC wanted the job, now you have it . . . fxckin' get to work already . . . these are problems that require out-of-the-box ideas, coupled with pragmatic execution. The people didn't vote you guys in to come and tell us stories of how fxcked up the last admin was, we wouldn't have voted it out if we didn't know that already. Tell us something we don't know already . . .

People don't pay a doctor or lawyer to tell them how bad their situation is, they pay them to fix the bad situation -- justify the votes -- justify the pay!

Minimum wage = $45/month!

So if your salary is N40,000 = $100 . . . some professionals make that in an hour!

If a medical doctor, lecturer, or engineer earn say N200,000/month = $500/month.

An average professional makes $500 in a day or 2 in a good economy . . . we are about to have another wave of massive brain drain.

Secondly, you are wrong, there is a cap to what any other entity asides the FG can generate and transmit . . . and to make it worse, the national grid ATM can barely transmit more than 7,000MW or thereabout.

Thirdly, 'decentralizing power' and 'diversifying power sources' are 2 entirely different things especially in this context, you seem to imply both mean the same thing . . . that's funny though . . . cheesy

Same way GEJ and PDP finalized the 'destroy-Nigeria-project' after taking over from Obasanjo (more or less), was the same way Shagari and NPN destroyed and ate Nigeria to the bone after taking over from Obasanjo. Oil prices were already falling as at late 1982, and by '83, the country was already in comatose . . . there was no way the country would have welcomed a coup if it was El dorado, people were actually glad then when Buhari and co. first came in -- they expected magic then, just as it is being expected now.

Same scene, same act, almost same actors even.

What do you know? Naira has depreciated to about N294 from N199 in the official market meaning that every $ the FG earns is sold for N294 against N199 previously. So, for every N199 earned initially, they are now earning N294. So the naira earnings would increase even if actual earning in $ didn't.

For example, if the govt earned $2bn in the previous month, that would be N398bn while the same earning of $2bn today would be N588bn.

The country is obviously cash strapped, even though the CBN still ironically does its mopping up of excess liquidity and raising interest rates.
