As far as I am concerned,GEJ has not said anything yet. Those who brought the application to Court in the first place are the drama loving people. And it is only write that such question of law be tested in the courtroom. GEJ's counsel/lawyer has a right to reply on his own point of view. Though I am of the view that GEJ can still run for another term by the provisions of the Constitution but that GEJ will win another election in Nigeria is a dream that can never come through. Infact, he must be of an unsound mind if indeed he is contemplating re-election. |

U paid a lawyer to represent you in court, he asserted a position, you never came out to disclaim it and you wanna tell me that the lawyer is different from you. Did you do agency law? Abeg don't talk cos you have mouth, speak only when you have something reasonable to offer |

all4naija: The truth is that he can rule more than 8 years based on election. He took over from the late president Ya'radua such is a factual evidence to his assertion. Sorry to say but u seem to be suffering from murrain and rotavirus. Cow! Who hates GEJ here? We voted for the man. He has failed to deliver. I dont know...honestly how we elected a president who just has a knack for unimportant things. If he performs who would say jack? Keep suffering and smiling! Frawzey. |

afam4eva: Jonathan is right actually. Afterall he's the president of Nigeria, the home of the largest number of dunce and laid back people in the world, why won't he make that statement. Now that he has said it, what will you guys do? That is what lack of education is causing, a country where people think they have to go on strike before their voices can be heard, a country where they have to burn down houses, good infrastructure (if there is any), close down schools, and take lives, before they can be heard. that country is just filled with illiteracy. |

Hmmmmmmm, and some lunatics and slowpoke sycophants accuses Pastor Bakare of inciting the polity whereas there is no greater words of incitement than a sitting, unperforming and redundant president telling the people that put him in power that he can rule for as long as he wishes.I think Mr President is getting power drunk, and its not good for any leader. If he doubts it,let him take a trip to Eypt, liberia,Mali,Tunisia,Lybia and soon to join Syria.God made Saul and Nebucadnezzer kings,God also made them mad and laughing stocks.Mr President should tread cautiously with his choice of words, cos i am yet to see anyone with more inciteful words than GEJ himself.First it was OUR TURN TO EXPERIENCE TERRORISM,followed by I DONT GIVE A DAMN,now this.He whom the gods want to destroy, they first make mad. |

ayox2003:Easier said than done. Who could have done better? He hasn't delivered and point to the president that has delivered since the existence of Nigeria. Without doubt this the only president Nigerians can speak ills of without question. For that he's the only president that has ruled in Nigeria with some democracy attached. Lawless people with lawless mind. The corrupt leaders and their tribalism is where all the hate is coming from. What have you done to help in fighting the Boko Haram your Northern leaders promised to use in disrupting this administration? I don't go for clear-cut idea like you, buffoon. 2 Likes |

ronkebp: How can their voices be heard without violence? Boko Haram and MEND have shown that violence is the only thing that can twist the hands of the utterly corrupt elite class. Let them burn that bit.ch down and rebuild it.. Angola fought a civil war for more than 20 years, and right now - they're FAR ahead of Nigeria in terms of developments and economic growth.. We need a bloody revolution, period. |

If Nigeria can get it right - then, Africa will definitely blossom. I'm on my Malcolm X and Marcus Garvey ish - the revolution will not be televised. |

shymmex: And what or who do you think Boko-haram is fighting for? for the people of Nigeria or to turn the whole country to a 'MUSLIM COUNTRY", BOKO-Haram have other things in mind, they really do not care if Nigeria survives or not, all they are after is how to "conquer" and their leaders have sought and declared a path to acheiving it. Any Civil war right now, in that country would only waste lives, nothing good or positive will come-out of it. |
