bixton: A8: If registered as an enterprise (business name), you pay Personal Income Tax. If registered as a limited liability company, you pay Company Income Tax.
With regards to the bolded....
How is this personal income tax calculated for one who runs an Enterprise business name and also will the employees under this kind of business name required to also pay personal income tax?
Is that not double taxation because the Enterprise business first taxes the individual employees salary/wages and remit to the FG and why will the FG still go ahead to tax same employees?!!!!
Please explain with clarity..... Thanks. I honestly have no idea about how this is calculated too. |

When poverty lines is 3 dollars or 1095 dollars per year
No body earning below 3500 dollars should pay tax in Nigeria none But the tax law clearly exempts individuals earning ₦800,000 or less annually. |

Flesh10: Remove data analysis and science from your list as that is the first sector AI will eradicate. Data analysis plays to the strength of AI. Even at learning stage AI is very good at analysing data. Unless you can be better and faster than AI in that regard. Nope. AI will only automate parts of data analysis, not eradicate data analysis or data science. AI cannot define the right questions, understand real business or social context, decide what data truly matters, or reliably detect flawed assumptions, bias, and misleading correlations. It also cannot translate insights into accountable real-world decisions or exercise ethical judgment. AI will only replace routine data cleaning, basic descriptive statistics, simple dashboards, repetitive database queries, and standard reporting tasks ( tell if it is important, misleading, or something to take action on without human feedback). |

Mrluv: okay and you think Ai can not do it I don't think someone can make money from this AI can do it, but workflow automation is not the same thing as AI. Workflow automation just connects apps so they work for you automatically. For example, when someone fills a Google Form, it can auto-send an email via Gmail, save the data in Google Sheets, notify a team on Slack, and even create a task in Notion. when intelligent decisions are required, AI can be added so it can read content, make smart decisions, and choose the best action on its own. |

HacheNoire: Over heating is even the least. If you see the rust that builds up, you will be scared! Especially when you see such in high performance cars. You feel like slapping the owner. Exactly. Using water to avoid cost, which is negligible in the long run leading to rust, corrosion, frequent top-ups, water-pump and gasket failures, clogged radiators, and eventually major engine damage, all of which proper coolant is designed to prevent. And the worst part is that the so called regular Nigerian mechanics that people hold in high esteem when it comes to car maintenance knowledge actively contribute to this ignorance. If you advice people about it, the common reply is, " You sabi pass mechanic?". And there is a common myth peddled by some local mechanics that coolant is only mandatory for cars in temperate regions. |

They will buy anything that KAZEEM recommends, and to top it up, they just buy from any where without concern. Some think they buying Mobil 1 but don’t even know they are buying oil blended in Aba.
Another one is using water for coolant 🤣🤣🤣 The water for coolant baffles me till date. Why won't their cars keep overheating... |

Education › Re: Can Your Child Survive South Korea's Brutal Grading System? by 99thEnemy(m): 10:44pm On Dec 12, 2025 |
Mayflowa: The grading system do not apply to South Korea alone- It is same used in United States and Canada secondary schools and Universities. Nigeria grading system is same as UK system. It follows different standard. I have attached the table in conversion.
The bulk of US grade is gotten from assignment and homework. In humanities, there are no exams. You submit papers and work in group. You will likely get 99% if you are active in class and do not miss any assignment. In STEM - home work can be 70% and exam 30%. So you likely getting a B or A if you are a good student. In Nigeria, the reverse is the case - Test, not even home work, is 30% and exam is 70%. If you mess up your exam, you are failing in Nigeria.
The worst part of Nigerian education is the teachers doing the grading. Many of Nigerians teachers are unfair and do not know how to give credit for work done by students. Some are biased and some are outright corrupt in grading students.
To compare, if a good Nigerian students go to US or South Korea, they will get straight A's. You just saved me a lot of typing. Very apt. |
