Former Aviation minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has lambasted the Archbishop of canterbury, Justin Welby, over comment on President Muhammadu Buhari’s second term bid declaration.

Archbishop Justin Welby, had told President Buhari that he wish him well on his decision to re-contest. He said the Church remain neutral but will pray for you, said that great statesmen are those who run for the good of their country.

Fani-Kayode, reacting in a post on his social media page, wondered why the Bishop did not condemned the killings and human rights violations under President Buhari.

His Post Reads: It is clear to me that this ‘same-sex-marriage-loving’ and confused English Archbishop deserves to be hung, drawn, quartered and burnt at the stake!

Since when did the Church of England and the Archbishop of Canterbury sink so low?

You are associating with a tyrant who is in open collusion and collaboration with Fulani herdsmen and Boko Haram and who has presided over, orchestrated and encouraged the mass murder and slaughter of hundreds of thousands of his own people.

This is a man who has refused to label the Fulani herdsmen terrorists and who has publicly identified with some of the core values of Boko Haram and defended them on numerous occasions in the past.

You say that you are neutral as a Church yet you keep having photo-ops and closed-door meetings with the tyrant and you refuse to condemn him for his gross and barbaric human rights violations, his attacks on and marginalisation of the Christian faith, his contempt for the Church and his hatred for non-Muslims and non-Fulanis. The Vice Chancellor of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Eyitope Ogunbodede, has broken his silence over a leaked audio suggesting that one Richard Akindele, a Professor in the Department of Accounting, in the institution was demanding s.ex from a female student to help her pass her examination.

The don, whose name was mentioned in the audio by the victim, is yet to publicly speak on the scandal.

However, in a statement he personally signed on Wednesday, the Vice Chancellor of the institution, said the university has begun the process of identifying the person involved. He said the act was a breach of regulations of the university’s code of conduct and anti-sexual harassment policy.

“In full compliance to all applicable laws, the university has set up a high powered committee to investigate the allegation and submit its report within one week. Anyone found culpable will be dealt with decisively.

“The university considers s.exual harassment as an offence punishable contrary to the code of conduct and anti-s.exual harassment policy. The university will never condone such act by any staff or students,” the professor said.

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested five serving policemen over alleged robbery attempt on one Mr Immanuel James, at Ago-Palace way, Okota, a Lagos suburb.

The suspects, two Inspectors and three Sergeants were identified to be operatives attached to Special Anti- Robbery Squad (SARS), Ipakodo.

The command’s spokesman, SP Chike Oti, who confirmed their arrest to newsmen on Tuesday, said that the men were not operatives from the Federal SARS, Ikeja Unit as reported.

Oti, however, said that one Insp. Jude Akhoyemta, who was earlier mentioned among the suspects, was found to be innocent.

“In line with the directive of the Commissioner of Police Lagos State, the Command hereby informs the general public that further enquiry into the allegation of harassment of one Immanuel James Ibe-Anyanwu by SARS operatives at Ago-Palace way, Okota revealed the true identity of officers involved in the highly regrettable incident.

“Those involved are currently undergoing interrogation at the Command’s X-Squad Section and would be marched before an Adjudicating Officer at the Police Provost Department for the commencement of their orderly room trial,” Oti said.

The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign state of Biafra (MASSOB) has said President Muhammadu Buhari’s decision to seek reelection in 2019 would mark the end of Nigeria’s existence as a nation.

Buhari had on Monday informed the National Executive Council meeting of the All Progressives Congress that he would be seeking reelection on the platform of the ruling party come 2019.

Reacting to the announcement, MASSOB in a statement personally signed by its leader, Comrade Uchenna Madu, insisted that Buhari would be the last president of Nigeria as an entity.

According to Madu, “the announcement of his ambition may sound so much pleasant to APC but it is full of hopelessness and Fulani interest.

“We the people of Biafra can never be deceived by a man, Biafrans know as a political parasite fully blooded with religious and ethnic sentimental hatred against the people of Biafra and Christians.

“President Buhari in his inner sense of reasoning believes that with his APC and kinsmen occupying the military positions of service chiefs, including all the most senior military High rank offices, he will easily crush all his internal and external oppositions; maybe with his intimidating tendencies over political foes and non APC Governors, National assembly members, Religious, opinion, political leaders, he still think he can crush the citizens using INEC and terrorist Fulani herdsmen.

“Buhari’s military civilian administration is the worst government Nigeria ever experienced; his leadership style of enforcing and imposing Islamic Hausa Fulani agenda on the rest of Nigeria people is tremendously assisting and justifying our struggle for Biafra actualization. Nigerian music rapper Ill Bliss has revealed how he had to battle Childlessness for 8 year, how he came through it without compromise and the positive lesson he learnt.

The Chairman, Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption (PACAC), Prof. Itse Sagay, has revealed why President Muhammadu Buhari cannot prosecute former presidents Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan.

The federal government led by Buhari of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has consistently complained of the rot it met in power, blaming same on the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Just recently, Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, claimed that the Jonathan-led government shared N150 billion, two weeks to the 2015 polls.

But in an interview with the Punch newspaper, Sagay disclosed that the nation was not yet ripe for such hence the former leaders could not be tried.

“Speaking from a peripheral level, unlike in South Africa, Brazil, and other countries, we don’t have a history or culture in this country of prosecuting our former presidents. It will take a long time, when we’ve developed and become more mature, to do that kind of thing. Right now, if you touch a former president, the storm that it will bring will be so diversionary and disturbing that it will affect your capacity to do positive things for the citizens. In my own thinking, you have to leave them alone and go for those who carried out the act of looting,” Sagay was quoted by the paper to have said.

Reacting to claims by former president Olusegun Obasanjo that the current administration was just making noise about the war against corruption, Sagay said, “I don’t agree with him. Noise should be made because you cannot reduce us to this level of poverty and wretchedness and think the government will continue to hide your name from the public. Even if a person has yet to be convicted, let them be subjected to the odium of public contempt so that when you see his child driving a Rolls Royce, you should be able to point at him and say, ‘That’s a car bought with our stolen treasury that you are driving.’ I support media trial; let the looters be tried in the press. If they feel there is anything wrong with it, let them sue the government; they have the right to sue if they didn’t steal.”

When asked what will happened to the reputation of the alleged looters soiled due to the media trial if they are eventually found to be innocent, Sagay said: “Why there should be media trial is that it’s not every corrupt person that will be convicted. Therefore, something should be done to mark them so that when they appear in public, everybody will know and say, ‘Here is another looter who is not in prison!’”

“…I am not surprised that the list contains mostly the PDP members because they were the ones in charge of our commonwealth before the APC came in. APC wasn’t the party in charge of our commonwealth before.”

The National Christian Elders Forum (NCEF) on Wednesday saluted what it called the courageous and timely intervention of Gen. T. Y. Danjuma, who had called on Nigerians to defend themselves against the complicity of security forces and Islamist terrorists in the country.

In a statement titled: ‘Gen. T. Y. Danjuma: Self Defense Is Legal’, the forum stated that the, “Public statement is finally putting a seal on the long known conspiracy between the Islamists in the current Federal Administration and Islamist insurgents in the country”.

The statement issued and signed by the Forum’s Chairman and the Secretary, Solomon Asemota, SAN, and Pastor Bosun Emmanuel, respectively, noted that “such a conspiracy could exist is confirmed by the flagrant violation of the Federal Character Principle in the Constitution by the Buhari Administration.”

The statement made available to DAILY POST averred that the NCEF, had repeatedly decried the concentration of the entire security infrastructure in Nigeria in the hands of Muslims from the North.

“All the key positions in Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Interior, State Security Services, Police, Customs, Immigration, Office of National Security Adviser, Army, Civil Defense, Prisons, are held by Muslims from the North. This is a total violation of the Constitution of which the Buhari Administration should be totally condemned and thoroughly rebuked.

“The NCEF stands with Gen. Danjuma and the Christian Elders support him totally that Nigerians should make adequate arrangements to defend themselves since it is clear that the security services have become tools of Islamists in the promotion of Sharia Ideology over and above Democracy which is the authentic ideology of Nigeria.

“This conflict between Sharia and Democracy was smuggled into the 1999 Constitution making Nigeria the only country in the world with dual conflicting ideologies. Nigerians must begin to question the insertion of Sharia into the 1999 Constitution and demand a Constitution in which Democracy is the only National Ideology. All the current distress in the country is traceable to the dual ideologies in the 1999 Constitution.

“Nowhere is the unconscionable intolerance and narrow mindedness of Sharia proponents manifested as in the abduction of innocent children on account of their faith.

“While the nation is still nursing the wounds of the abduction of Chibok girls, the Islamists abducted another set of school girls in Dapchi and released over 100 of them who professed Islam as their religion and retained in captivity Leah Sharibu on account of her Christian faith.

“The 15 years old, Leah Sharibu, the only girl among the Dapchi girls still in custody of the Islamist terrorists due to her retaining her Christian faith represents Nigerian’s very own Rosa Park.

“She is still in detention for proclaiming Christ and she is telling Christians that it is hard to be a follower of Christ; that she should not be alone; that she is suffering like Christ to remind all Christians that Christ suffered for one Church of Christ, so that humanity can have life more abundantly; and that Christians in Nigeria should be one in the Spirit of Christ.

“In the circumstance every Nigerian has a moral duty to pray and press for her release from the promoters of Jihad and intolerance.

“The National Christian Elders Forum insists that there is a moral burden on President Buhari to ensure that Leah Sharibu is delivered from her abductors alive and well.

“The continued abduction of Leah Sharibu, on account of her Christian faith, after all the other girls have been released because they are Muslims, further underscores the grave danger that Sharia ideology poses to the Nigerian state.

“Nigerians should bear in mind that the country was given Independence with the Founding Fathers agreeing that Democracy shall be the National Ideology.

“The Founding Fathers of Nigeria agreed that for a multi-cultural, multi-religious, and multi-ethnic society, an all inclusive ideology that would guarantee Justice, Equity, and Fairness would be required.

“Democracy was adopted as the National Ideology to provide equity, freedom and liberty for all. Democracy is in sharp contrast to Sharia which is discriminatory on religious grounds and highly intolerant of other beliefs or culture.

“With the Military incursion into governance, Islamists of northern Nigeria worked through the various Muslim Military Dictators to progressively compromise the secularity of the Nigerian State culminating in the 1999 Constitution which is a Military imposition on the country.

“With the overthrow of General Gowon in 1975, the Islamists launched stealth Jihad in Nigeria and the nation is witnessing the combination of stealth and violent Jihad geared to transform Nigeria into an Islamic Sultanate.

“The NCEF has stated repeatedly that it is not possible for three ethnic nationalities (Fulani, Hausa and Kanuri) to imagine that they could impose their religion, culture and political leadership on the remaining 386 ethnic nationalities in the same country.

“For a very reserved and conciliatory Elder statesman like Gen. Danjuma to speak in the way that he did, it should be clear to all discerning persons that the situation is hitting a boiling point. There is still time for sanity to prevail.

“The NCEF is also amazed at the impudence of the Sharia Council represented by Yusuf Rigachikun, and Abdulrahman Hassan who called for the prosecution of Gen. Danjuma. It is very unfortunate the lawlessness and impunity which Islamists have introduced into the Nigerian State.

“The Christian Elders wonder how any man of good conscience and good will could condemn a call for people to defend themselves yet, would not condemn the aggressors who kill, maim and destroy lives at will all over the country.

“The Sharia Council might have been taken seriously if it had called for the prosecution of the following people, just to mention a few.

“Garus Gololo the leader of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association in Benue state who on 4th January, 2018 told BBC that the New Year genocide in Benue State was a reprisal attack for the theft of cows. Usman Ngelzerma who on 12th January, 2018 said Fulani herdsmen attacked Guma and Logo because the herdsmen were fined by livestock guards. Bello Bodejo, the National President of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association who said the cause of the attacks on Benue State was because the State enacted Anti-Open Grazing law.

“Meanwhile, there is sufficient evidence to prove that the Government of President Muhammadu Buhari was well briefed by the Taraba State Government about the attacks in Taraba State but ignored the warnings.”

“Governor of Taraba State, Darius Ishaku, speaking through Bala Dan Abu, his Senior Special Assistant on media said, ‘The case against the military in Taraba is that of outright collusion against the people which has made it easy for the Fulani militia to kill and destroy property. It is also a case of disrespect for the Office of the Governor of Taraba State.’

“He said Governor Ishaku also wrote President Muhammadu Buhari on January 26, 2016 to complain about threat to peace and security in Taraba State.

“In that letter signed by Governor Ishaku himself, he lamented the devastating effects of internal conflicts involving the Fulani and Tiv, which led to the sacking of 200 settlements in the Gassol, Bali, Ibi, Donga and Gashaka local government areas by herdsmen.

“The governor informed the presidency about the concerns raised by some traditional rulers in the state concerning the influx of Fulani militia and about the attacks on their communities.

“Letters of complaints from the traditional rulers whose communities suffered from these attacks were also attached and forwarded to the Presidency”. “Copies of this letter were sent to the National Security Adviser, Chief of Staff to the President and the Inspector-General of Police,” he said.

“The widely publicized report on social media and which was investigated and confirmed to the effect that a chopper dropped arms in a village near Wukari was downplayed by the security agencies.

“Despite efforts by the Taraba State Government to get the military to act, they never did. Since then, the arms and ammunition brought into the state have been used against the people in various communities in the state by the herdsmen.

“The present Operation Ayem Akpatuma in the state has also been discriminatory. While cutlasses and knives have been taken away from the people, the herdsmen have been left with AK-47 rifles. Through these various acts of deliberate mischief on the part of the military, thousands of people have been killed and a lot more may be killed unless the military turns a new leaf.

“In view of the foregoing, the unfortunate statement by the Sharia Council is an open indication that the current genocide going on in Nigeria is deliberate, intentional, and Government complicit.

“Those who condemn residents for securing their houses yet do not condemn the thieves raiding them are undoubtedly the thieves. These are very worrisome signals in a Federation that is grossly divided and wobbling economically due to mismanagement.

“The current state sponsored insecurity is pushing Nigeria off the brink of the precipice and the NCEF is surprised that educated people in the North are unable to read the handwriting on the wall,” the statement explained.

The NCEF advised the Government of President Buhari “to immediately dismantle the current discriminatory appointments in Security and Education and ensure new appointments in compliance with Section 14 (3) of the Constitution.”

It suggested that the federal government should “commence the implementation of the 2014 National Conference, Set up a Truth and Reconciliation Commission as the basis of providing healing, reconciliation and forgiveness in Nigeria, Set up machineries to develop a new Constitution for Nigeria based on Democracy as the only National Ideology.

“As an immediate step, a return to the 1963 Republican Constitution which was the Constitution negotiated by the Founding Fathers of Nigeria should be considered.

“However, if the Buhari Administration fails to take immediate corrective measures to stabilize Nigeria and restore justice, equity and fairness, particularly to stop the reckless murder of Nigerians by Islamist insurgents, then all Nigerians must prepare to embark on civil disobedience and “shut down” the country.

“Nigeria belongs to all citizens and it is the highest act of treachery, betrayal and treason for elected officials to use the instrument of government to promote sectional interests at the cost of the lives of other citizens.”

“As Elders, we witnessed Nigeria pre and post independence. What we are seeing presently, is a nightmare compared to the glorious dreams of the Founding Fathers on 1st October 1960.

“During the Colonial era, Traditionalists, Christians and Muslims all lived in peace and harmony. It is disturbing that after independence, Nigerians are unable to live together in peace. We do not want to believe that the British should be invited to come back and rule us.

“We can solve this problem but the Islamists in northern Nigeria must be persuaded to back down from this foolish and lives costly adventure that they have embarked upon. It is an ill wind that blows no one any good,” the forum stated

Brymo has revealed the reason behind his action in a new interview saying that no other Nigerian artiste aside Asa fit into his kind of music.

He said; “I have spoken to Asa’s handlers. What remains is to set it up. She is the one person who I can collaborate. What she talks about love, social issues, and everyday issues are things that matter to me. I had important things to talk about. It is hard to bring someone who doesn’t know my thought process to collaborate on such a song. Many of my colleagues collaborate because of positioning. There is so much politics involved in collaboration so I chose to sing alone. I have collaborated in the past but I was not satisfied with the outcome.”

According to Brymo, most Nigerian artistes do collaboration not for the sake of music but with the sole aim of advancement. He also stated that veteran indigenous musicians sing alone.

There is tension, currently, in Abaomege, Ebonyi State, following the death of the son of the town’s traditional ruler, in police custody.

It was gathered that, Kelechi, the son of HRH Eze Ineke, was found dead, yesterday, inside a cell at the Abaomege police station, with a rope tied to his neck.

As an outcome of the roundtable convened by the President of the Senate, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki, in December last year in Kano on the rising drug abuse in the country, the Senate has developed two draft Bills for legislation to tackle the menace.

The proposed Bills are National Drug Control Bill and National Mental Health Bill.

A statement from the Media Office of the President of the Senate said the Drug Control Bill seeks to clarify the mandate and strengthen the capacity of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) and the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration Control (NAFDAC) and other relevant law enforcement and regulatory bodies to eradicate the illicit production and trafficking of controlled substances.

It also seeks to establish a central mechanism to facilitate collaboration among law enforcement, regulatory and public health authorities in line with the National Drug Control Policy.

The Bill further focuses on proactive law enforcement and regulatory measures towards the eradication of the illicit importation, production and trafficking of controlled substances.

It also criminalizes the diversion, distribution or otherwise dispensing of controlled substances without a prescription or license

On mental health Bill, the statement noted that, “in recognition of the fact that psychosocial issues are the key drivers for the abuse of psychoactive substances, the Bill was crafted to ensure that standard facilities are available in every state to provide mental health and substance abuse services.

“The proposed law guarantees the protection of the rights of people with mental illness and stipulates that mental health practitioners and facilities no longer engage in practices that are harmful to people with mental health and substance use disorders.

“In recognizing the low number of mental health practitioners in the country with the ratio of practitioners at one psychiatrist to 1.6 million people, the draft law makes provision for quality mental health and substance abuse services available for women and adolescents, who are an underserved segment of the population.”

Commenting on the draft Bills, Saraki said a provision for stiffer sanctions would be made in the bills as proactive mechanism in the prevention of drug trafficking and abuse.

He pledged the commitment of the Senate in the speedy passage of the bills to give a legal framework to help mitigate drug abuse in the country.

The most wanted cultist in Lagos, Kanmi, also known as Father, has been arrested by the State Police Command.

Father was declared wanted by the police after he was recently released from the prison.

Father was reportedly feared by cult groups within Mushin, Itire, Lawanson and Ilasamaja areas of the state.

It was further gathered that while he was in detention, cult activities and war reduced, but as soon as he was released, there was a marked escalation of rival cult wars.

Following the cult war that started after his release, Commissioner of Police Imohimi Edgal, ordered Police detectives to fish out Father and his alleged killer gang members.

The command’s Public Relations Officer, Mr Chike Oti, said: “Based on credible intelligence available to us that some cultists led by Kanmi alias Father were planning to strike in Ilasamaja community on March 29, the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, directed the Divisional Police Officer of Ilasamaja, SP. Oriyomi Oluwasanmi Titilayo to bring to an end the reign of the bloodthirsty cult henchman who had been terrorising that community for a long time now and had become worse since he came back from the prison.

“True to type, at exactly 5 pm, Kanmi, whose trademarks were sorrow, tears and blood, arrived the community with his gang unknown to him that his rank had been infiltrated by the underground operatives of the Command.

“The DPO’s team, already on standby for him and his gang, sighted Kanmi at Hassan Street, Ilasamaja with two of his criminal associates in a fight with a young man suspected to be a member of a rival confraternity. Kanmi had lifted his matchet to cut his rival before he was challenged by the police team.

“He immediately took to his heels and was pursued and arrested by the police. He was frisked and a locally-made pistol loaded with two cartridges was recovered from him. Also arrested was one Alami Samuel, 22, an associate of Kanmi.

” Lagos State Commissioner of Police has warned those who belong to nefarious clandestine societies to renounce their membership or risk arrest and prosecution.”

Three persons were killed on Wednesday when armed bandits again attacked Zamfara communities.

The police confirmed the Wednesday killing of the three persons at Bawan Daji village in Anka Local Government Area of the state.

The Zamfara police spokesperson, Mohammed Shehu, said in Gusau that the killing was perpetrated by gunmen.

Shehu said the gunmen who came in large numbers attacked the village in the early hours of Wednesday shooting sporadically which led to the death of the three persons.

He said the villagers who were taken unawares were quick to alert a nearby mobile police patrol team which came and engaged the bandits in a gun battle.

The spokesperson said the police officers overpowered the bandits and many of them escaped with gunshot wounds.

He urged members of the public to be on alert to report to the nearest authority anyone seen with bullet wounds and seeking medical attention.

Shehu said normalcy had returned to the affected village with people going about their normal businesses.

Hundreds of people have been killed in different Zamfara communities by armed persons who also burn and destroy properties.

The killings have continued despite President Muhammadu Buhari ordering the military to clampdown on the armed person. The president also visited Zamfara last week as part of his official visit to violence affected states.

Joseph Parker has dismissed Anthony Joshua’s “unrealistic” claims and insists he will beat the British-born Nigerian because “he’s not a god”.

The WBO heavyweight world champion was responding to Joshua’s suggestion that no human can beat him, ahead of their unification fight on Saturday.

Parker and Joshua went face to face at the Sky Central press conference and the New Zealander made it clear that he would prove the favourite wrong.

A five-year-old marriage is on the brink of collapse as Mrs. Musilimat Olasuyi has told an Igando Customary Court in Lagos that her husband, Oluwagbemiga, permitted another man to sleep with her in their matrimonial home.

The 48-year-old trader told the court on Monday that the man made love to her in her matrimonial home with her husband’s approval.

“It was not my fault.

“I did not voluntarily submit myself but the man in question charmed me to make love to me with my husband’s agreement all because of his selfish ambition,” she said.

The petitioner said that her husband threw her belongings out of her matrimonial home in the process of which the money(over N800, 000) she kept inside her different boxes were stolen.

“I went to the hospital to take care of my daughter from my first marriage, who suffered from a gas explosion.

“There, I was told that my husband came with some boys to our matrimonial home to pack all my belongings outside.

“After some days; I came home and I discovered that all my boxes and bags had been ransacked; some were missing and my money was stolen.

“My jewellery valued at N250, 000 and the N250, 000 that was given to me by my son-in-law to start the construction works on his landed property close to us were missing.

“Also, N100,000 for my customer’s cassava (garri), N250,000 being our mosque’s money kept in my custody and N30,000 my trading money got missing.’’

Musilimat submitted a written petition to the court seeking redress and judicial actions against her husband.

The estranged wife wanted to know if it was proper for her husband to throw her property out without an order from the court.

She also demanded to know if her husband would not be liable for the cost of her lost money and property.

The petitioner was also requesting the court to know if her husband should not pay for the inconvenience as she and the only child of the marriage are homeless.

She pleaded with the court to dissolve the union saying that she no longer loves her husband.

However, the petitioner’s husband, Oluwagbemiga, accused his wife of infidelity.

“My wife does not have respect for her marriage vow, she makes love to her concubine on our matrimonial bed.”

The 55-year-old sand supplier also said that his wife was fetish.

“My wife is diabolical, she comes home with different charms and objects; she gave me a soap on nine consecutive times to bath with.”

According to him, he had given his wife a three-month quit notice to vacate his house but she refused.

“I gave her a quit notice to leave my house; she told me to do my worse that she was going nowhere.

“So, I do not have any other option than to pack her things out from my house,” he said.

The respondent consented to the dissolution of marriage, saying the love between the two of them had long faded.

Responding to Musilimat’s petition, the court’s president, Mr. Akin Akinniyi, said that it was wrong in a valid marriage for a husband to pack out his wife’s belongings from their matrimonial home.

“It is legally wrong for a man to throw out his wife’s property.

“The respondent should have requested for the return of the dowry he paid on the wife from the wife’s parents.

“Better still, he should have sought the dissolution of the marriage at the court of law before such an action could take place.

“The husband should have rented another apartment for the petitioner and the child since he does not want her again.

“He should have moved her belongings there for safe custody, before the petitioner’s return.

“The husband will be responsible for any cost of missing valuables and the wife is entitled to compensation,’’ he said.

Akinniyi urged the estranged couple to maintain peace and adjourned the case until April 26 for judgment.

The National Publicity Secretary of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Bishop (Dr) Emma Gospel Isong has backed the advice by a former Minister of Defence, Lt. Gen. Theophilus Danjuma (rtd.) that Nigerians should defend themselves against killers.

“On the day Dapchi girls were kidnapped, two weeks before then, Army men withdrew from the check points, giving access to these kidnappers/militants. Is Danjuma not justified?

“The military and the police refused to protect citizens of Benue and Taraba given a free for all affairs for Fulani herdsmen to continue the expansionary move on the life and property of Nigerians in the riverine areas especially in the north. Is Dnajuna wrong?.

Dr Isong further said, “The President told the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to relocate to Benue, he refused, the President himself did not know if the IG relocated, he didn’t know that IGP disobeyed him. Up till today, the IGP has not been removed or punished or sanctioned or quarried, does that still make T. Y. Danjuma wrong?.

The PFN National Publicity Secretary lamented that all security operatives in the country are Fulani except Nigeria Navy.
