We had no female students wearing hijab in Federal Colleges even in the North all through the 70s to the 90s to the best of my knowledge. ALL female students of both public and mission schools wore berets or hats. When did hijab suddenly become mandatory in Islam? It's not one of the 5 pillars of Islam nor is it in the Holy Koran which states modest dressing ....same as in the Holy Bible.

A uniform is a leveller and promotes unity.

Shut up am from Ogbomoso, Islamic public schools here do not force Christians to wear Hijab, so why shouldn't Christians Public schools tolerate non-Christians we Have Ansarudeen, Nurudeen and Muslim Grammar schools here and they even Teach CRS/CRK there because the school is financed by government now, same with Anglican Grammar and Anglican Secondary schools here teaches IRS/IRK..... So why should Kwara be different, when Wike was declaring Rivers State a Christian state you hail him, If such should happen in Kwara you will all shout Islamization,,,, Bloody Christian hypocrisy....

Back in 2010 I went to FUTA to write thier post Ume ,as a devoted catholic I wore my holy rosary but on getting to the screening venue we were asked to remove everything including our bangles before we would be allowed to enter the exam hall, those who refused to remove theirs were prevented from entering the exam hall.. Nigerian Muslims should learn to be law abiding... I don't know y they think d rules should bend for them.. We are all equal n shouldn't be above d law.. How on earth must u go against the dress code of an institution in d name of hijab..
