FreeGlobe:Bridges: Obi did a lot of bridges across the whole state (I can provide link if you contest that) Roads: Give example of the Obiano quality roads since we are yet to hear of any aside those done by Obi. Security: Obi started the Upper Iweka revolution. He chased a lot of criminals out of Onitsha and Anambra. He started the Joint Task Force which Obiano is building on. He drastically reduced crime compared to Chris Ngige whose activities fanned the embers of criminality and lawlessnes in the state. During Obi's tenure, the were relatively insignificant reports of robberies, you could only hear of kidnapping which targeted mostly the big guys around many states. So, he started the security revolution Obiano is accomplishing right now, Obiano couldn't have started it. IGR: Ngige and his agents made sure Anambra's IGR never entered state coffers; even the claimed N450million Ngige and his cohorts claim was just a facade to cover up their looting lifestyle. Meanwhile, Obi raised the IGR to N600million. He then started putting resources into place to make sure the IGR increases. Revenue, ANSIPPA, Lands offices were all started by Peter Obi. Obiano wouldn't have achieved N1.1billion if he'd started from the scratch. Obiano is not even touching as many areas as Peter Obi touched. Is Obiano fighting political wars? He does not have to because Peter has done those for him to stay focused on the bigger goals. |
FreeGlobe:Who commenced work at upper Iweka? What was Anambra's IGR before Obi's regime? Obiano is giving final touches to Obi's remaining works and commencing his own works. Nothing more. Since you could not see Obi's works in schools, hospitals, roads & bridges, agric, water scheme, security, etc then may you continue being blind forever, olodo. @Chigold101, the problem with unrepentant Chris Ngige's praise-singers like foolglobe is whenever Obi's achievement is highlighted, instead of them to raise contrary claims with facts, they start off with name-calling and vague 'Peter-Obi-wasted-8yrs' rant. Why can't they be specific and mention the sector and what he did not do so we can all discern. |
FreeGlobe:Shame on you, provide the links of your accusations. I like what I'm doing to you on this thread, you have no hiding place. It's only your death that can save you, but I'd rather have you die slowly in your present spiteful state. A lil salt to your injury: Peter Obi is presently the Chairman of the Technical Committee of the Economic Management Team. He was in Washington as part of the Federal Govt. ... Militants allegedly attended hospital in Mosul showing signs of disease ... WHO spokesman said they are trying to 'reach out' to officials in ISIS areas ... Disease reportedly brought to Mosul by 'terrorists from several countries' ... Extremist group said to have executed 11 Mosul doctors in past few weeks The World Health Organisation is investigating reports that ISIS militants have been showing up at an Iraqi hospital with Ebola. According to three media outlets an undisclosed number of militants displaying signs of the disease attended a hospital in the ISIS-held city of Mosul, 250 miles north of Baghdad. While the reports, from Kurdish and pro-Iraqi sources, remain unconfirmed, WHO spokesman Christy Feig said the group are trying to reach out to officials in ISIS-held areas to offer help. UN workers are currently banned from entering ISIS-controlled areas in both Iraq and Syria so it is unlikely an operation in the area could be carried out. Ms Feig told Mashable: 'We have no official notification from [the Iraqi government] that it is Ebola.' The symptoms of ebola are similar to those of other diseases including malaria and yellow fever. Mosul has been under control of ISIS since June 2014 and over the past few weeks militants have reportedly executed more than a dozen doctors for refusing to treat injured fighters. According to a report in Iraq's pro-government newspaper, al Sabaah, the disease was brought to Mosul by 'terrorists' arriving 'from several countries' and Africa. The symptoms of Ebola, which include nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, bleeding and bruising, are similar to those of other diseases including malaria and yellow fever meaning it could easily have have been misdiagnosed. In addition, very few ISIS fighters are believed to have travelled up from West Africa where the Ebola outbreak originated with most coming from areas where there have been no reports of the disease. The reports have appeared in pro-government and Kurdish media but if true it could have catastrophic implications for people in ISIS-held areas as the group is against western science and medicine. It is not known if any of the surviving doctors in Mosul are equipped to test for Ebola or trained to treat patients and prevent the spread of the disease. Yesterday the United States and its allies staged 29 air strikes on Islamic State targets in Syria and Iraq on Wednesday, the Combined Joint Task Force said. The action in Syria included 17 strikes near the cities of Al Raqqah, Dayr az Zawr and Kobani. A variety of Islamic State buildings, fighting positions and units were hit. In Iraq, 12 strikes targeted Islamic State buildings, fighting positions and units near the cities of Mosul, Fallujah and Sinjar. Fighters, bombs and remotely controlled aircraft were used. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2894154/ISIS-fighters-contracted-Ebola-World-Health-Organisation-investigating-reports-Islamist-militants-disease-showed-Iraqi-hospital.html |

Two contrasting news from thesame man.. I'm confused ![]() |
FreeGlobe:This product of watery dead semen, you do not need to confirm how daft you are, so quit spewing rubbish here. Did Obi kill your parents? You did and you are facing the consequences. So take your frustrations with Mr Obi and end your miserable life elsewhere. Last information before you rest in pieces- Peter Obi was the first governor to be appointed Honorary Special Adviser on Finance to the President, despite being an APGA front-man with Governor of Adamawa State, Rear Admiral Murtala Nyako (rtd) being appointed Honorary Adviser on Agriculture. No other governor held such position, Fool globe. |
Akainzo:Peter Obi was a state governor and at thesame time appointed Honorary Special Adviser on Finance to the President, the first time a governor will be so appointed. Remember he was in an opposing party APGA which took away power from PDP in the state. His indisputable discreet and judicious use of public resources marks him out as special specie in a seemingly shark-infested political terrain. His grasp of all financial strategies and details is simply overwhelming. Through strategic planning, prudent and transparent management of resources, as well as reduction in the cost of governance, his administration achieved integrated and comprehensive development in all sectors without borrowing or owing anybody. Now you know why he is a rare gem, don't you....? You are welcome |
Guilty of the fifth one only. I do not transfer aggression nor leave issues unsolved, especially family ones. |
phemswag:Nico & Vinz, very intelligent and humble fellows. Their track 'In Your Arms' was being played at Stoke City stadium just before Stoke vs Man utd this afternoon. Skales should seize the opportunity and feature them on any his project to gain more int'l followership. |
But why is she orgly though ![]() Last bullet: Her wrinkled fingers reduced the value of the ring |

Chigold101:Ignore that Freeglobe nonentity with an alternate handle. The fool is not in anyway Anambrarian. |
FreeGlobe:Mumu, who is your Valentine Obienyem? Go siddon for one corner cos you aren't making any sense. Your mama dia! Was Mbadinuju and Orji among the economic team? How many of your South West governors (including your father who is six feet under.g) have doubled as state governor and at thesame time as an Honorary Adviser on Financial Matters to the President within the economic team? Make sure you answer first before you go ahead and die, ode. |

rhames:What they had then was Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress which Ye Jianying headed from 1978 to 1983. The "paramount leader" is not a formal position nor an office unto itself. The term gained prominence during the era of Deng Xiaoping, who was able to wield power without necessarily holding any official or formally significant party or government positions (head of state, head of government or General Secretary) - Wikipedia Pls thank me b4 u run away ![]() |
rhames:No, I don't insult when I haven't been insulted. @bolded.. Then I should assume you do not believe physical strength is required in leadership. "Deng never held office as the head of state, head of government or General Secretary (that is, the leader of the Communist Party), he nonetheless was considered the "paramount leader" of the People's Republic of China from December 1978 to 1992. As the core of the second-generation leaders, Deng shared his power with several powerful older politicians commonly known as the Eight Elders." -Wikipedia |
Eziachi:Goodluck |
Eziachi:Age should be a concern incase you do not know. Obi does not talk anyhow like your average Nigerian politician; I am sure you read where he gave Buhari credits regardless.. Who does that? It shows the value he places on orderliness and rule of law in a sane society. |
baybeeboi:Wishing you more! |
Eziachi:A lot of people like me vote because of the candidate and not the party. If GEJ cross-carpets to APC today, many people like me will still vote him. Obi was somebody before GEJ became president and he never depended on GEJ for anything personal. Rather, it is GEJ that needs him judging by his personality and achievements in Anambra state. Obi is a great asset to the presidency having held a position in the economic team even while still serving as a governor.. What does that tell you about his quality? Obi had to be begged by Okonjo, GEJ, Wike and co to come and contribute at the centre. Obi is one of our credible public figures who still has integrity even after holding a public office for 8years. He was about retiring from politics for good before being sought after by the presidency. |
rhames:Did your brain interpret "fragile" in this context as being brain dead? Haven't you seen someone giving out advise from a sick bed? [s] Eziachi:[/s] I never insinuated any of the above. Do you always have this problem of misinterpretation? |
baybeeboi:oh! U d share name with Honda product? |
rhames:This is service to a nation we are talking about, right.. You are telling me people should die in it? My dear when you are 70 you are assumed to be fragile at least in our own clime. The leadership position in this context requires much of both mental and physical strength. |
rhames:What is the essence of retirement age then, or you think the people who originally proposed it are dumb? |
backtosender:Gbam! |
Eziachi:It wasn't about PDP, APC or whatever party, they don't matter to him. Peter Obi has said he will do whatever it takes to make sure GEJ wins. For a fact, you can hardly hear him discussing PDP, but he will always tell who cares to listen that Goodluck has the ability to lead our nation to where it should be; and the best way he could ensure that is joining GEJ's party, simple. |
