jascon1: I've always wished for this issue to be brought to the light. My last experience was a life changer. I can't recount everything but, I can categorically state that our Nigerian customs service comptrollers n officers are refined rogues. They have been baptized in the act of ripping and raping innocent ppl off their goods. They r specialists in systematic kleptomania. I feel sorry for ignorant travelers who glide their feet into the jaws of these iron-teeth criminals. Pls, someone sud push on this so as to bring this issue to the hearing of the government Are you a smuggler? |

hama20: Believe it or not, there are always consequences for oppressing others, The only thing permanent in life is change and no body stays on top for ever. Am not a prophet, but i can clearly see a time where the north would want to leave this cage called Nigeria for Arewa Republic, but the south would force them to remain in it. in those times you would have realized that you do not have monopoly to violence and that AK-47 is not a weapon meant for only cattle herders. Politics › Re: The Entire Southern Nigeria Needs To Be A United Front Despite Differences by 9jii(m): 6:17am On May 02, 2016 |
Eddygourdo: Happy sunday to you all, hope una go church and have decided to truly repent. Anyways I get matter that bothers me a lot. The opinions of nairalanders might be inconsequential when an entire nation of 170mil is considered. But still its opinions and differences indicate a possible trend afterall.
I go through the political section and I see three things. 1. The yorubas and the igbos assume they are enemies and can't stand each other. 2. The northerners are united to any cause , be it evil , good or outright callousness
3. Most nigerians have lost faith in the nigeria project and prefer to waste time being incoherent opositions .
Look at korea, look at the americas during the civil war, look at most recently sudan. The division they sought occured between northern and southern lines. Thanks to coastal advantage, the south always prospers. Look at nigeria , a perfect example is the unity by some unfortunate governors who came out to declare stleath support for fulani herdsmen attacks. They know its wrong , they know these people are murderers who hope to carry on their activities, yet they stood united in their opinion. Everybody knows that , if only oil was found in the chad basin in economic quantities, the north would have broken off a long time ago.
Why then aren't the entire south a more united front despite our differences. We have a lot in common than what divides us, we are religiously tolerant, we have a large portion of educated people who could assume an elite class when needed, we aren't murderous no matter what, our union as a united south would forster the benefits of diversity. So what are the differences amongst the yoruba and the igbos on nairaland that fosters all the hate. I believe all these aren't representative of real situations . I have many yoruba friends and many yorubas have igbos as friends.
A unified southern nigeria, would create a platform for real democratic practise, we will be away from the born to rule people who encourage murderous behaviour. There is need for a unified southern nigeria and middle belt. We will disagree but we won't kill each other for it. Its not natural to us op did you see it? Your thread caused more division your people have problems it not the north that is your problem. THE NORTH WON THE AMERICAN CIVIL WAR. U lied |

hedonistic: It's ridiculous when one thinks about the fact that much of the EFCC's recent noise revolves around arresting and shouting about the sources of the PDP's campaign funds.
However, who the bloody hell funded the APC and Buhari's election campaign? Why is that not an issue for the useless EFCC? wait till your party win the election and you remind them to arrest whoever. |
Politics › Re: Unification Of SE / SS A Major Threat To Nigeria Why? by 9jii(m): 6:47am On Apr 30, 2016 |
Ogonimilitant: I have been watching the activities of the Northern part of Nigeria of recent and most importantly what happened in Enugu few days back and my conclusion is that this people are bringing terror to our door steps.
This the time SE and SS should forget the past and form a strong union but dropping the name Biafra. The name puts fear in the life of average SS person. I do not know the reason but it's a fact because I too have the phobia.
Most people in my region have realised the mistake both regions made in the past. We all have seen that Yorubas definitely have aligned with the north including Edo state.
The north will not be happy with this. The Union of both region is the only way we can survive being taken over by the north.
May God save us. Igbos always trying to monopolize and milk SS by any small chance. It will never happen SS is for all US.if you don't like it join your bianonses. Don't even try to tell me u r not igbo, you are ss nna. |
