lisbonabdulahi: Please I calculated my FSW SCORE, I HAD 73 OUT OF 100, but I had 317 in my CRS score, please what isthe difference between these two. What do I do. ? The first is to determine if you're eligible for express entry (minimum is 67) while the CRS score determines if you'll be picked from the pool. The higher your CRS score the higher the probability to get an invitation to apply (ITA) for Permanent residence. Every month about two draws take place to select candidates (based on CRS score). The last draw was 440 and the lowest draw so far is 413. |

UdomoLeinad: Congrats to all those who received PPR
I've got 2 questions I need to clarify, please!
Reading through the thread, I see a lot of people say its advisable to submit the pr application shortly before the 90 days elapse, May I know the reasons why?
Also as regards proof of funds, I haven't heard anyone speak about deed of gift in recent times, hope that still works (hehe), because I still don't have the funds in my account but I intend to get it sorted 2 weeks before submitting my application. That shouldn't be a problem, should it?
Kindly advice
P.S: Status: Still awaiting IELTS results Hi! You got some things mixed up while reading. People who are advised to submit late are those who haven't gotten their police certificates, mostly PCCs from the US. Yes gift deed still works and sorting it out two weeks before you submit is fine. All the best in your ielts. |

parkia: Hello people ,please i am trying to fill my nysc in my personal history not sure of what category it falls under, is it government or employment or unemployed. If its employment would i need to provide a reference letter. Thanks in anticipation It's employment. You're putting it under personal history meaning you did not claim points for it, so no you won't need a reference letter. All the best |

adaifx: Good evening all I just stumbled on this thread and it has been quite educating and motivatin. I have worked for a total of 10 years for different establishments only 3 of the companies are willing to give me reference letter the other ones refused what do I do It's not an issue. You need just 3 years work experience to get maximum points. So if you've worked a minimum of 3 years in any of them that are willing to give you, that would be good. All other work experience can be shoved into your personal history and you won't need reference letters from them. If you've worked one year in each of them you'll need to get from the 3 companies. Remember the work experience needs to be in either NOC 0, A or B. |

crazyinlove: Hi guys, How does the UK PCC works. I applied on Sunday using their premium service and I am yet to get a response from them. They said it's 2 working days. I did not get a response from them when they were done with mine. They just posted it. You can call them to be sure it's been processed. |

victor101: Hello house, please I need to be enlightened on how the PCC processing works when apply from Nigeria. Do I need to start it now, as I'm pursing my ECA to beat time?
I heard it takes a longer time. Thanks. If you're talking about Naija PCC it doesn't take time. You can do it when you get ITA. Mine took about 5days. I believe some have gotten it in lesser time. It's a pretty straight forward process. |

oddysey: Hello all.
I really need some urgent advice. I just submitted my eAPR on Monday and got AOR same day.
I just realised today that my wife had stayed a cumulative of 7 months in the USA!!! How I missed that, sincerely, I will never know? I am still in shock, particularly because I knew about the PCC requirement but I had miscalculated her cumulative number of months. And I did not attach FBI PCC for her. I am the PA.
Please, can I raise a CSE to notify them and indicate that I have applied for it or will my application be rejected all the same? Please I would really really appreciate a guide or a link to a guide on how to apply for the FBI PCC. Can I use my dollar card to pay for my wife? Is there an agent I can use to make it faster? I also hear there is a utube video on how to fingerprint yourself. That link will be sure helpful. I am based in Port Harcourt. Please I would appreciate your responses. I am hoping to raise a CSE today or tomorrow latest before my application is rejected. My CRS was 447. Baba this one go tough o. When did you get ITA? Guys please what do you advice? |

Cheriesparkle: Good morning all Thanks for all your efforts PLEASE I NEED HELP!!!
I want to apply for Canada EE I did my first degree and master's degree in the UK. Currently i am in Nigeria While in the Uk during my studies i took up a part-time job as a retail operative (sales assistant) I worked for a total of 7 years. I am 34 years. So what will happen to all my years of experience?
While checking out the NOC, i found out that my skill is not eligible for the EE application. However, i did my Nysc and that gives my NOC under skill A which is eligible for the application.
PLEASE what do i from this point? If i am to apply do i need a reference letter from my previous employer in the UK or just my Nysc certificate? And how do i get a police report since i am already in Nigeria?
Hope to get a reply soon
Thanks. Hi! You're good to go with Msc and NYSC work experience. A reference letter from your NYSC job is all that's needed since you won't be claiming points for your UK experience You'll need to calculate your CRS score, use this link. cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp To get a high score, you should get a minimum of 8777 in ielts (general), 8 in listening. Your UK police certificate can be done online and posted to you. If you have an address in the UK where it can be posted to, that would be better. The person can scan it and send you a soft copy. https://www.acro.police.uk/Police_Certificates_Online.aspx |

sehawale: Please how true is this? A friend said the principal applicant must stay with the dependents in Canada for 4years as PR for the dependents (accompanying family members i.e spouse and children) to be eligible to apply for citizenship. In other words, if the primary applicant does not stay in Canada for up to 4 years as PR, his spouse and children will not qualify to apply for citizenship on their own. Please gurus shuk mouth. I don't think it's true. If it was, it would have been clearly stated on cic website under eligibility for citizenship. |

Toy002: Hello house,
So my application was cancelled today because of police certificate. I actually submitted a wrong document initially but I realized 4days after submitting and I immediately raised a case for document replacement and I uploaded the correct one. Now I do not know whether to go ahead and raise another CSE to explain or to just go and create a new profile? What do you think? Urgent please. Sorry about this. Like others have said I too would advise you reapply and maybe raise a CSE by the side. What's your CRS score? |

optionese: Plenty good news on the thread. Congratulations. I have a bit of sad news. So my Canada application is put on hold at the moment due to family issues beyond my control. That's the much I can share. So I won't be submitting my PPR profile.
Don't know when I will resume or resubmit my profile. I will also take a break from answering questions. Am sure there are sufficient people to answer.
I really wish everyone a successful application. Whatever the situation is, God would see you and your family through. |

ehix89: Hello Fam, what should i aim for to get me max point in IELTS? 9 in all. Ok just kidding.... Your minimum should be 8 in listening and 7 in the rest (of course if you don't have any ties to Canada). Your age too plays a role. So you're better off calculating what your CRS score would be from here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp |

deeore: so I just checked my profile to see maybe my profile changed to medicals passed and they forgot to notify me, lol, then I noticed we have been assigned UCI numbers, should I expect medicals passed soon. Gurus in the house, don't mind my paranoia, @lavivaavril's post just put roller skates on my feet Now it takes 60 days on the average to get medical passed. So yes very soon Did you notice any change in your BgC status? Cos I know someone who had her UCI no and was in IP1 before medical was passed. |
