I have an android box with a 4gig ram, 64gb with usb for memory expansion. Subscribing to movies channel is a no to me, I download movies from a site(mid movies and occasionally blockbuster movies) on my phone and direct share it with my box. I watch YouTube for local content. I stream live matches on X on my Android box as it is more stable without glitches but most times the streaming feed get cut off abruptly.

Please, do you mind sharing where you watch your blockbuster movies, streamlive matches and watch new channels??

I switched to IPTV live streaming by getting an android TV box last month. I also got Airtel 5G router. With the experience I have had so far; I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK TO DSTV OR USE ANY CABLE TV.

I watch more of Geopolitics news and football but hate it that I can't have access to RT news which is my favorite news network. I hate all the CNN, Bloomberg, BBC, Reuter, DW, France24, Euronews, Skynews, Nbc, Fox new of this world

They are all western manipulation and propaganda machine. I despise them all. The only news source I consume are Russian RT news, Al Jazeera and Chinese CGTN. Since the start of Russo-Ukraine war, RT was banned from YouTube. I couldn't get it anywhere, DSTV use to show it but they stopped even long before Ukraine war.

Ever since I began Livestream I have access to RT news, I have access to all live sports for free, I stream blockbuster movies and even old movies from yesteryears.

Sometimes I wonder why it took me so long to discover this. At this point, I don't care how much I spend on data, (currently I do the airtel monthly 20k unlimited data subscription), as long as I have access to what I enjoy to watch. I will stick with streaming.

The financial obligations of a married man are enormous and his mind state is usually in a state of calculation, projection, troubleshooting, balancing a situation before it even happens.


When a man is out shopping in a mall like that; while his wife is busy picking what they need, the kids are busy with Impulse purchases (stuff not planned for but they want it), the man mentally goes into a state of calculation and how to influence everyone decisions to shop prudently. While doing this, he is also mentally planning for tomorrow expenditures as well.

The wife doesn't share that mental burden except she is the bread winner of the family and kids wouldn't understand what it means to be a bread winner.


That's why men always have that look.

Men who are rich never have such look, they would be the one at the fore front asking their kids, do you want this or that — or sometimes remain in the car while the wife and kids go into the mall.

@A305 enjoy whatever u see while it last. What we are see now is not new. We have seen crazy rates in time past in both sides ie extremely high rates like what you see now and the opposite as seen about three years back where Tbills and MMF were less than 5%
What investors should be focus on now is getting returns that will reduce negative real returns with respect to the current inflation rate.

when the rates gets reduced in the future, maybe by then more investors will sign up for the Dollar based MMF or diversify into other investments.

But this current upward trend is scary to me — I use to think maybe it's not only Nigeria because Kenya's MMF rate is currently at 13% - 15% but what's scary about that of Nigeria is the rate at which it is shooting to the moon like we trading crypto here.

I know the Government is trying to mop in cash and also stimulate the economy with these crazy TBill rates, however the bigger picture I am painting here is total collapse of the Naira currency. Zimbabwe currency was a text book example of what I am saying here; this should also be a wake up call.

At this point, I'm starting to think the government can't help it.

MMF for example, he would be getting atleast 720,000.00 monthly at the current rate of 17%.

Can you imagine having 720k as passive income?

Most struggling Nigerians don't even earn up to 500k in their regular job. This is how the rich gets richer and poor gets poorer.


*Another method that can easily earn you that sort of rich people money is through property investment or sales.

Just one sale of a property you inherited or bought for less could earn you quite a lot to consider yourself never to be broke again if you invest in the money market.


*Another unorthodox ways of making quick big money is through scam, fraud, illegal deals (oil bunkery, currency round tripping etc), political extortion and corruption and money laundry, this type of money usually is not sustainable for long because even if you invest it and the authorities comes after you, all your networth will be wiped off starting from freezing your bank accounts, seizing all your properties, cars and other businesses.


*Another way is buying out an already thriving business and pump more money into it.

*Another way is starting your own business from scratch and grow it till you retire as the CEO and hand over to a COO.

In a progressive country. This is part of the duty of the welfare system in the local government/grassroot level to deal with.

Like you said and I normally advice my clients if you are new in investment world, it's always better to start with MMF and fixed income funds. That is not to say balance or equity funds are bad investments.
