I can only help but wonder what would happen if Chelsea lose to Southend today! The events of Hiroshima and Nagasaki would be child's play compared to what would go down on this thread
Bollocks. . . . . . .

I don't really see the need for Arsene Wenger to buy any player. . . . .it makes no economical sense.
Letz face it. . . . .Gaynners cannot win the Premiership this season, UEFA Champions League(50-50), FA Cup(50-50).
Had it been Arsenal are still in the title race, one would say. . . .Go on WenGAY, go for it. . . . .Give it a shot!!!
But there's nuthing out there to grab apart from finishing 4TH and the current squad can achieve that with ease.
Villa will soon run out of gas. . . . .
I laugh in Kazakhstani!! of course Arsenal needs to buy Arshavin what happens if Nasri gets crocked?
Quality signings would give us something to play for for the rest of the season with the problems Arsenal have faced this season its a miracle we are still in 3 out of 4 competitions and not that far away from the top of the Premiership
I say buy! buy! buy!

I have laughed in close to 200 languages now seeing Chelsea fans attack coach, players, management and even RA himself i still think y'all are being unfair on Drogba that guy brings a lot to the table Scolari has simply managed him poorly in my opinion which shows he is not suitable for the Prem if there is something you can't fault Drogba for it is his passion and something in that Chelsea lineup is not fueling his drive

I still find it pretty amusing though seeing this mass hysteria in the blue camp!! its only months ago when Chelsea where hailed for playing sexy soccer, samba football and all that bloodclotry now shit has hit the fan and its obvious it was pretty much a fluke all this time i thought Chelsea had the best squad and all that but these days it is looking rather far from the truth. This is Chelsea's crisis period the question is will they fall or stand?

Arsenal won my 1st year of watching premiership. I was soooo heartbroken. I've never forgiven you guys.

I think what you're saying about Villa can be said about most teams i.e. a few standout players and then squad players to make up the numbers. I think outside the established top 4 (i.e. MALC) and even within some of those (top 4) teams, that's what you get: Expensive wheat (as much as you can afford) mixed in with a lot of chaff, and then you hope for the best.

I definitely think Villa is one of the better teams in the Premiership at least since O'Neill took over.
Heartbroken? come on y'all had won about 4 or 5 Premier Leagues before that and have won 5 or 6 since then now thats just plain greedy!
Yeah you have a point but Villa's case is very very obvious and most members of the top 4 usually can survive for a long stretch without key players same can't be said for clubs outside that bracket
O'Neill has done a good job there though with limited cash as well this is something our West London Brothers could learn from

Its funny because i was arguing this with an older friend of mine who told me Jay Jay was probably one of the stingiest of African players in England he said unlike Diouf and Kanu,Okocha was pretty tight-fisted with cash and all anyways its his money and its not my place to tell him how to spend it tongue tongue
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Tottenham Hotspur Supporters Inc by A40(m): 2:54am On Jan 14, 2009
Me thinks your premiership status is more important than any cup competition the joy of winning them would be temporary compared to your premier league survival but really what is wrong with you Spurs? y'all have a decent squad that should be in mid-table at least and not 2 points from bottom

Its hard to drop a QB that led his team to the best record in the league i just think the Titans where wasteful they had their chance to win that game easy and there is also that issue of the Play clock winding down on a certain play by the Ravens did you see that? Flacco was about 2 seconds late

The Steelers have beaten the Ravens twice i hope they can get 3rd time lucky

Yup the moment Kris Johnson left it was always going to be hard for them Titans! Kerry Collins didn't do too bad too many turnovers was what did them in they where fumbling the ball left right and center due to constant harassment from the Ravens D thankfully the Ravens have met their match in the Steelers its really going to be bloody

OMG no not at all. That was my 2nd premiership watching season and I was sooooooo very madly in love with John Gregory (until he turned out to be a bit of a shite,  . ah well). Premiership was fun in those days, man. Like I remember Bryan Robson (who was at Boro at the time- 99/00 season) had an affair with one chick that was an anchor on Sky Sports news who had a broken leg and his wife nabbed them in the act in bed in a hotel and then beat the Sky Sports chick with her crutches. That's like my best non-football related football-related moment ever! And of course 98/99 was treble year (that fateful night in Barcelona) and THAT Giggs goal in the FA cup versus Arsenal.

Also Villa are not a bad team. They're like a 6th place sort of team y'know or at least top half. If anything their razz years in the early 00s were an abberation. It was Graham Taylor and David O'Leary that did them wrong.
Really!! All i watched was Bundesliga and Serie A the Premiership was too monotonous for my liking Utd where always winning so to me it was a very boring league but hey you are a Utd fan i don't expect you to complain about that

Villa are a good team but besides the few standout players they have i still feel they are short in some areas O' Leary was just disaster they where a mid-table or dangerously close to relegation type of team

I think a few years ago like in the late 90s, (I want to say like 98/99 season) they were 1st for a while when they had John Gregory as their coach, but they dropped the ball then too. Of course I think Martin O'Neal is a much better coach so, .
Wow that is deep!! Premiership to me was crap as at 1998/1999 sha so i am suprised you know these cats

I think Villa would eventually run out of gas they don't exactly have that depth and any form of injuries to Agbonlahor and Ashley Young alone would cripple that team the question is would Arsenal take advantage although i would like to add that based on Chelsea's spanking today i think we Villa and Chelsea would be in that dog-fight
