nihilistjnr:Personally I think the touching was a bit much. Surely there has to be a way to convey your message with a little less physical contact especially in these sensitive times. |
https://twitter.com/BlasianSays/status/1298708341418467328?s=19 What do you guys think? Was the coach out of order? Woke and Love and light Twitter don nearly finish the man oh |
alexxiswrites:I don't support riots or looting but people literally pushed Kap out of the league and his means of livelihood just for taking a knee. You can't say people have not tried peace. Think about it. Someone used literally the most peaceful form of protest and more people were outraged by that than the actual issue on ground. To the point that he lost his job Fast forward and these issues are even worse now. Players should get paid for the games they showed up for though, not in support of them not getting paid for the games they have played |
birdman:Exactly. Had the season ended then this platform would be non existent. There would not be talk of other sports joining in and it would not resonate like it is doing now. The boycott is not ideal and I'm not for it but I understand Like you alluded to, this is a marathon and not a sprint, there has to be an understanding with the players and with everyone else that this change will not come overnight and so this is a battle for the long haul. The players cannot do more than they are doing now within their sphere of influence Beyond the flash and initial outrage there is need for concrete plans on how to move this discussion beyond just talk on social media. Overall this whole thing is bigger than Sports. Their society at large has to take a good look at themselves and decide if they are really the Land of the Free like they claim and what that even means. This would influence who they vote for at all levels and guide how they hold their officers accountable. Whether political or law enforcement |

Roland17:Well you called it. I do hope they have more planned than just simply not playing. Actionable plans, sponsoring lawsuits and more importantly getting more white owners to be passionate about reforms. Make them see these people getting shot as potential fans that put money in your pocket one way or another. |
DeeMain:What will they say about health workers that are in the line of fire every day. A lot of these athletes are just entitled and that's the truth. It's easy to take certain stands because your livelihood does not require you to show up at work every day The world has turned upside down for so many people. Yet some still have it better than others |
Make this Chilwell no end up like Drinkwater sha. Fingers crossed ![]() |
BlueMann:All I see are 3 guys that won't track back when they lose the ball |
birdman:I told you Lillard or no Lillard that series was not getting to 6 games. Nurkic and Whiteside are not half decent defenders that can remotely slow down AD. And that Blazers team was sorely lacking in depth. |
Jamal Murray. This is what you want to see from big money players. That 360 layup at the end of the 3rd!!!! The boy is a fuckin savage. He singlehandedly extended the Nuggets season. I hope he can repeat Game 6. We want a Game 7!! |
Roland17:Even if they boycott the season these people won't stop shooting. In fact if I'm Giannis I'm looking at George Hill sideways for that statement he made. Playing or not playing does not change anything Unless there is some form of civil disobedience and coordinated protests, not this one we just witnessed but organized and not performative bs. This thing will never change. The gap of what constitutes as a threat is too wide and too much power has been given to these officers to interpret as they deem fit. This is what will happen in China and the Middle East and Holier than thou Americans go begin chook mouth |
birdman:I don't think it will be that easy. Momentum is on their side right now. In fact you should be very afraid |
raumdeuter:Yes just someone happy to be here and that won't put too much dent on the wage bill Rentals like Perisic and Coutinho are pretty expensive though they were very much worth it in the end raumdeuter:Isn't Lucas able to use both feet? I thought he could. Anyway I have not heard anything about loan for Kouassi, he already has games for the PSG senior team so it remains to be seen if the loan option is viable. I'm not a fan of loans without firm agreement for him to play. Besides we have Pavard and Süle that can play besides Alaba and Lucas. No worries there raumdeuter:Yes I agree. The window is wide open and the manager is the right one for the job. Hopefully we are lucky with injuries. It really helped that our key forwards were all fit raumdeuter:Bayern rarely misses on loans so no cause for alarm there, it's likely we find someone. I think it's only right to pay Alaba. 10 seasons of service and he's only 28. A 2 year extension means we will be able to utilize his best years at his prime left. I think if they can agree on a deal to 2023 he would only be 31 then. Alaba was very crucial and reliable this season despite one or two errors. raumdeuter:Lewandowski barring any unforeseen jujonic force should be able to age like Zlatan. They are similar in style and don't rely on the attributes that wane quicker with age |
Looking forward to this Nuggets vs Jazz game. The end might be nigh for the Nuggets who are low-key one of the disappointments of these playoffs.. Nobody is even talking about Donovan Mitchell. Lol this is why free agents no dey like go some teams |
Khanben:Like I always say a made 2 is better than a missed 3. Sometimes you have to take what the defense gives you and such if it's uncontested 2's then you take it. I'm not saying you go full DeRozan or Ben Simmons but unless you're Steph Curry level as a #1 option I don't think you should be taking more than 5-7 3 pointers in the playoffs. Especially when the first 2 or 3 don't fall. As a Rockets fan I would have gone batshit crazy that year they missed 27 straight 3's |
Khanben:Especially as a small market team the margin for error is too thin to overpay a player whose production is replaceable. My belief is perhaps he gets along with Giannis and they thought it best to pay him so that Giannis does not feel a type of way |
We beat Barcelona sotey Messi run comot, according to the rumors out there at least ![]() |
raumdeuter:Odriozola and Javi hardly played so it's hard to count them as losses. With Sane, Coman and Gnabry at the wings it's best we use a relatively cheap and problem free youngster at the wings as a 4th option. Remember these are 3 young guys who will want to play so if all 3 are fit you already have selection headache by default Between Lucas's injury history and Alaba going into his 11th season as a starter surely both of them should be open to rotation, fortunately there would be plenty games to go around Boateng is injured so that's another problem. We know at this point we can't rely on him to be fit either. But Süle and Kouassi gives us options I think it's key to not go into the new season expecting another treble, I would rather we retool from within and just win the Super cup and club world cup. We would still contend in the Champions League regardless but you always need a bit of luck there raumdeuter:I wouldn't worry too much about CM, knowing Bayern there is always a silent deal nobody sees coming. James, Perisic, Coutinho all came by surprise. Worst comes to worst we see what Cuisance has to offer, I think he has to start getting good minutes in his second season. Maybe he's the next Davies at the 8 position who knows? I wouldn't put it past Lewandowski to be fit and firing for the new season with little downtime, I heard his wife is a fitness trainer which would explain why he's always seemingly in shape. Still we can blood Zirkzee into the team fully. He made the most of the opportunities he got last year and deserves a little more |

raumdeuter:Crazy. Dante's part was the most enjoyable for me and Pizarro no age one bit. This coming season will be very interesting. Potential/Confirmed exits Coutinho Thiago Perisic Javi Odriozola That's quite the turnover. I'd love for us to keep Thiago. I don't know why he can't do another 3 seasons with us before leaving Overall I don't see why we can't do another B2B with a bit of luck. 25 or younger Sané Gnabry Coman Pavard Lucas Davies Kimmich Goretzka Süle It can be argued that this team has not even hit its peak. I believe this core alone should be good for another CL at least within the next 4 seasons barring any winchy winchy pattern. I'm also looking forward to seeing more of guys like Orobosa Zirkzee, Cuisance and Fein. We have an absolutely stacked schedule this incoming season that is barely two weeks away. We will need to uncover some new gems like we always do |
airmark:Clearly you're dyslexic. When have I ever shown interest in debating end of season polls and awards with your ret@rded self? I stated my preference for Boateng. What does that have to do with Upamecano airmark: airmark:Your lack of critical thinking and analytical skills point to your poor educational background. That's why you could make stupid statements like the above No wonder you keep falling for MMM, commandclem and other schemes run by people wey actually no go school. Lest I forget. Show us Hummels CL trophy or explain why Boateng and Sülemana are still at Bayern and why your darling Hummels is not
|
raumdeuter:I get FC Bayern TV subscribed for my YouTube. Everything na him I don watch. You should see the videos the treble class of 2013 sent to ginger the boys on the eve of the match. Bayern is really more than a club. Too much tradition |
etidy:Let's be a bit fair to Lillard. I think their shock win of Game 1 really raised expectations beyond their level. I said it here that I don't see them taking the Lakers even to 6 games. Their names look good on paper but they lack depth. They don't have any wings that can play even G-League level defense. It's Dame and inshallah. As CJ is wildly inconsistent |
birdman:I'm fervently praying that series goes to Game 7 |
airmark:So George Weah's prime vis a vis (when 20 goals will put you in Balon D'or contention btw) Hummels and Upamecano are on the same level? You and foolish comparisons na 5 and 6. Next time you will not make foolish proclamations like below airmark: airmark:
|
Chris Paul really willed that team to a win today. Quite the performance from him and Dennis in the 4th. I'm sure he would rather die than lose to Harden |
airmark:You're obtuse. What has Upamecano achieved to be compared to BoaTANK? Anyway I don't care for your foolish salaye. Just show your trophy and explain why Hummels has been chased away from Bayern while BoaTANK and robotic Sülemana are winning Champions League trophies |
chic2pimp:Ahhhhh. Go give am belle think say she go abort? Lol who does that. Ohh even the Doc Rivers daughter dey explore? Nice one |
Schroeder and CP3 no gree oh. 8-0 run to end the 3rd |
James Harden is not phuckin around today. Dishing everyone Roland17:Inevitable. Even the GM should be sweating. The Horfraud and Tobias Harris contract have hooked the 76ers to problems |
