Surely the Pelicans are asking themselves why didn't they trade Anthony Davis or just shut him down the rest of the season. What are the odds he was going to last till season end without getting injured? Khanben: Markeff Morris to OKC another solid pick up by the Thunder. Hopefully a WCF with GSW awaits them. Very needed. For me he's an upgrade at their Power Forward position at least and should push Patrick Patterson further down the bench |

Killrhymz: I really don't enjoy watching Harden's style of basketball. He often uses his off hand to push defenders to give him space, he flops and exaggerates contact, and he has the ball in his hands the majority of the shot clock in each possession. FG 15-34 3PT 8-22 Explains why he was the 7th pick in the All-Star draft picks |

madrid5: I commented here are Chelsea a useless club just by this transfer only people thought I was joking ha, with 60 million man city go mahrez on its bench, they got an inferior player to willian This would have been a good buy two seasons ago. He is still so young and I hate to write off young players but he just has that Vanilla Ice vibe to him |

Khanben: I saw the first game Lebron played after coming backs, and the dude was just 2 steps slow. Then the coach plays him 40 mins. So i can understand him resting for a game where if he was 100%, they would probably not still win.
PS: I am one of those who believes Lebron will miss the playoffs this season. I don't know if they are in the position to rest players for games. Not like it was a back to back. I'm sure they thought they would probably beat the Hawks and lose to the Celtics but look what happened |

Surprised the Celtics could win at Philly without Kyrie, though it seems they just have Philly's number and from the looks of things they just might be meeting in the first round
The Lakers were 4th seed before LeNomad got injured yen yen yen. Since his return they are 2-4 yes I'm including the Warriors game he intentionally ducked. Anyway let's keep observing |

eph12: Not like Mbappe was the star of this game or that he did anything special sef. Of course he didn't do anything special. That's why he's a killer, all he did is score and put your team on the brink of elimination. Better thank De Gea. But for him going to Paris would have been a criminal waste of funds |

By the way, when I call your Steelers "Drama Queens" now, you go say I dey lie. Una wahala too much, na only una? The drama is just too much for one team. Remember our argument before the start of lasts season? Oh well!!! No. The Steelers are not a drama queen franchise. We have just one drama queen. The only recurring decimal in all the ruckus and on-field and off-field issues! And he has thankfully demanded a trade. I hope the management summon up courage to trade him and get a good deal. He's the modern day T.O and no team would ever win a title in such a team oriented sport like this with this type of player. Absolutely no chance Good as he is he ain't Tom Brady, our QB has won two Superbowls before he got into the league. We've not won any since he arrived |

Pointguardusa: Even Embiid started at 16. Well Nigerians parents may not understand sports . (Even my parents especially my mom used to persecute me for playing basketball. I haven't played in over 5 months now)Like in the case of Anthony Joshua. Some are slowly starting to understand though. The thing with parents is you have to show them you're all in. 5 months is a terribly long time to be without basketball at your relatively young age. You have to sit down and ask yourself what you really want and how badly do you want it. I didn't want it bad enough back then because I didn't really think I was that good so it's up to you |

SmooshCHN: I'm surprised too. I got back here and saw guys of 6'9, 6'6 here in Lagos who just got into Bball in their late teens cos either their parents didn't give them the freedom to play and other BS like that. Wasted talents everywhere. It's so unfortunate. If not that I'm scared of most of them, I'd have talked them up at the court I play at. I'm still looking for a responsible one to talk to. China will welcome a lot with open arms It's mental really. I always look at a guy like Olajuwon who was roasting and didn't discover basketball till he was 16/17. Think of how good he could have been if he started at a younger age. Even back then we were playing for fun at National Stadium and Punch Estate but how do you tell your parents you want to play basketball when all your mates are entering university? Plus you see the Dodan Warriors and so-called pros here and they aren't doing too well so you just face reality It speaks to the system that someone of that height is just attempting basketball at 24. If he's serious sha it's worth a shot, you never know |

donlittle25: NBA dream is over, but you can decrease your age and make it to the USA on college scholarship.
But now you said you are 6'6? You need some certain skills to play those positions. If you were 6'11 or above, it would be easier as you could just make it over here been a center and grabbing the boards and defending. But at your height, certain skills are required which takes years to learn, from younger age. Make he comot mind for US and focus on China or Europe tbh. The time it might take and the quality of basketball he might need to play to be able to make it is a sore point. SmooshCHN has given him the best window. Hopefully he follows up |

SmooshCHN: Questions like these break my heart. I asked myself the same when I was 18 and to be honest, it was late AF for NBA. Impossible at 5"8 . If you're really dedicated, you can make it to other basketball leagues and Europe and China and your talent has to make up for your age. Better late than never. China, Philippines and the Balkans are his best bet honestly. Nigeria is such a waster of talent though and I'm a bit surprised a 6'6 ninja is just stumbling on basketball at 24 |

I don't like discouraging people at anything ever but just starting the game at 24 is a bit late. The amount of catching up you need to do I don't know if you can cope oh |
