airmark: Both of them are in the most expensive team in epl, where 50m was spent on stones and another on a fake johnie walker.
Last season, Sane and KDB couldn't outscore fvcking Cahill.
Story. Is it me that told Cuntay to spend £75m on Drinkzobo and Bakanonsense? As if your own team is cheap. Add Zappacosta and that's £100m for three wastemen who can't even make the team
Who cares about last season? Were you dragging for Yorupa cup like you are now?
Roland17: Baba, abeg give my man Rondo him credit na? I no mean join body credit with Holiday, I mean him own personal credit. The man has been the conductor of this series. Without him, the Uni-brow/ Pelicans would not lead this series by 2 away from home.
Rondo who? What is a Rondo? Rondo ko Ata rodo ni. Holiday has been the man on both ends of the floor. So far this series Jrue Holiday has been the best player by a country mile. Don't give Holiday's glory to another person because of Celtic parapo
Donlittle: you are right to some extent but the whole flourish off the ball thing has to do with coaching.
It seems Portland takes turn shooting the ball. My turn, your turn, his turn.
That’s what I saw tonight. I doubt if they won 49 games in the regular season playing this way.
They need a legit big man that can slow the game down in the post. They don’t have a klay, curry, or KD so can’t really keep defenders 100% honest.
A big man can slow the ball down when the shot isn’t falling.
I am disappointed in them.
Lillard has been terrible this series both as a scorer and as a facilitator. McCollum blows hot and cold so I wouldn't say I'm surprised by his performance.
The Blazers have a unique problem because the Pelicans already have a unique advantage in front court with two bigs who can run and spread the floor. Their backcourt was supposed to be the equalizer but Holiday and Rondo are grossly outperforming Lillard-McCollum
If you thought the Wizards would give Raptors tough time raise your hands
How is Bradley Beal an all-star please? We critique DeRozan and Lowry but he's been even worse. Though his reaction to the Gortat/Wall feudo was hilarious.
etidy: I knew this would happen. Never understood what the hype about Portland was all about. Lilliard thinks so highly of himself & he's talented but he will never reach Curry's level until he develops basketball IQ and use his presence to allow his teammates to flourish off the ball.
I think they have met their match. They have nobody that can really slow down Holiday and when Rondo starts making 3's you kinda know its not going to be your day.
Also the gulf in class in their bigs is ridiculous. I thought Nurkic would help bridge it but it's not even close
Our biggest game is next week and we are already getting injuries piling, Key players are the Alaba Boateng Martinez James Muller and Lewandoski, Muller hardly gets injured so I can risk him
Shey you see the Javi you no wan make we start so don score within 5mins
Alaba is just returning. Even Madrid rested Ronaldo Modric Kroos Varane last weekend
Leverkusen wey go play this like a final make dem no scatter whats left of our season
Of course if Bernat can't start this type of game then we might as well get Hector or Plattenhardt in the summer.
We have cover for Vidal so I'm not too bothered. If Tolisso can't step up after breaking our transfer record then he is an eleribu. My only worry is Coman. We could have really used him in this tie vs Madrid to keep Marcelo or Carvajal honest
Madrid can afford to rest players for a meaningless La Liga. We are chasing a treble (I hope I'm not jinxing this) so we can't afford that luxury
It would be more demoralizing if we go with a B-squad and pick up an avoidable L going into another cup semi. This is a risk we just have to take if we want to win it all
Our biggest game is next week and we are already getting injuries piling, Key players are the Alaba Boateng Martinez James Muller and Lewandoski, Muller hardly gets injured so I can risk him
Ahh I no know if I fit trust Rudy for this type of game. I'd rather we rest players this weekend than potentially lose a cup tie that can kill morale
I'd rather go into this tie with full squad with a final at stake
Roland17: Not necessarily because the Sixers were crashing the board and winning the offensive battle on the board. Ilyasova registered 11 rebounds with 6 of those on the offensive, Simmons 9, Saric 9 and a host of others. Furthermore, the Sixers had no answer for Whiteside when he was on the court on both ends but he was unable to stay away from foul trouble. The Sixers have to play this way because they don't have Embiid but it would be a difficult adjustment whenever Embiid returns because he demands the ball and that may change the way they play.
But they won without him so I'd still say he's not really been a factor. Foul trouble or not his output has mostly been bleh.
The Sixers would need Embiid defensively and on nights their shooters get cold. Where Whiteside would be needed would be in helping to neutralize Embiid which he has had some luck in doing. He's also someone who can put Embiid in foul trouble as well
There are some people that the moment they start hyping you, you need to go beg them e.g airmark
He started hyping Krychokewack and he cannot make the West Broms team after failing with PSG He started with Luiz and he was disowned by club and country He started with Beloti, that one has played 21 games for Torino and scored in 7 See the direction Hazards career is headed too since airmark started hyping him
Na them sabi! Big cup tie today. I thought it was tomorrow sef
Leverkusen are on fire and the boys need to turn up. What would be your go to lineup? Would you start Robbery again?
Donlittle: Actually have no problem with him not playing since he is injured or so he said. There is a man who played through injury and ainge shipped him off at the end of the day. He lost some dollars because of that i am certain.
However, not speaking to your team mates, not giving them any moral support is terrible and i am wondering if other GMs are looking at that before they make an attempt to get him.
The Spurs would be the biggest losers any which way which is why Pop could not help but throw shade at Kawhi while praising Aldridge. I bet they would love to trade him but the injury and his demeanor would even make it tough to get full value.
Roland17: The playoff is all about adjustments and that is what Spoelstra did in this game especially on the defensive end. He trapped the Sixers from the top by applying pressure during inbound passes and this disrupted the transition offense which was successful in game one. He also forced Simmons to become a scorer by defending the perimeter closely, having his players chase cuts especially during the pick and roll which forced Simmons to make shots. More importantly, he forced Simmons to become a defender which made him get 4 fouls.
Wade was vintage on the night as he resurrected the demons of the 2000's which the Sixers or anyone for that matter would hate to deal with. He ran the ball from the point and the Sixers had no answer for his step back fadeaway jumpers and drives to the basket. Whiteside is a very important piece because the Sixers are crashing the board on both ends but the man has to find a way to stay out of foul trouble. Dragic has been underwhelming in both games, he needs to find his mojo with aggressive drives while staying away from foul trouble.
The Heat are a very dangerous team because of coach Spoelstra and how tough they play. Force Simmons to score 30 if he wants but limit the assists and the rebounds. SIMPLE!!!!
I'm seeing the highlights now and the problem with the Sixers stem not just from the shitload of 3's they missed but the fact that a lot of them were contested and a lot of times with their feet barely set
Ilyasova-Saric-Belinelli-Redick are somewhat similar offensively and on a bad night everything can go to shit pretty quickly. Of course they have to roll out this lineup largely because Simmons cannot shoot but Embiid cannot return soon enough
Whiteside would be more important when Embiid returns. He's been a non factor for the most part
SmooshCHN: This Kawhi story is strange AF.. Someone tell Him to stop playing fortnite and pull up at Oracle Arena.. We want all the smoke..
Loool this Kawhi is a weirdo. I get he needs to be healthy but to not show up at any of your team's games. I'd be worried about that as a GM. Whatever bad blood you might have towards the organization these guys on the floor are still your guys. Ohh well who am I to judge? He could have his reasons
SIRcumalot: the LeBron hate to they much for here sometimes. one would think zeusthrill zealot like defence of the king would balance it out but no. this is still a bron hate fest.
Tales by moonlight. Your man literally got bodied by a singing nigga
