I think the game has evolved beyond having two speed stars on the flanks. Madrid regularly used Isco on the left last year so I think James can feature there too, I don't think a suboptimal Robben on the left would help us.

For me the problem lies centrally. If Javi is the de-facto DM who then starts at CM between Thiago and Vidal?
