SIRcumalot: Which oladipo is better than Barnes in what way? I still don't see how Batum taking a discount won't still affect the warriors. Bazemore and Barnes are both SF, same draft class, same team they traded one away what does that mean? Ariza and Deng are past their respective prime and are both above 30. How is crowder for barnes going to work? If he is that replaceable let him walk. Simple don't try to paint the guy as what he isn't. Oladipo is a better scorer not by much but he can at least create his own shot, their defense is at par How will it affect the Warriors? They would be getting a better player for less Bazemore was undrafted, and unfortunately he started slower than Barnes, however since joining the Hawks we can now see that while one player has raised his game the other has stagnated Its not about being in one's prime its about filling a role. Can Ariza and especially Deng play in Barnes's role? The answer is an emphatic YES and they will do even better I have shown you stats that highlight the fact that he is an average joe easily replaceable on a good team. Whether the Warriors opt to do so is another story. However the notion that few can do what he does is a myth |

Just watching the Klay and Curry post game you can see the gulf in class. No whining no excuses just giving the opposition credit SIRcumalot: batum maybe and you'll still have to pay the max, crowder is under contract so you will give up some asset. Deng and ariza aren't upgrade and you still have to give something to get them. oladipo and bazemore no reach. Batum will take reduced pay unless he wants to retire without a ring Swap Crowder with Barnes. I doubt Crowder has more trade value Deng is a massive upgrade on Barnes on both ends of the floor. If the Warriors get Deng that 3peat is too sure. Whaaat Ariza is cheaper and can do what Barnes does for the Warriors (whatever that is) Oladipo will probably not leave the Magic but if he did he is also better than Barnes, ditto Bazemore GSW would be real silly to overpay for Barnes with Steph, Klay still waiting down the road |

Mizzzbeee: fortunately salary cap rate is going higher so more money for players My son must play pro sport Barnes should go, he is replaceable but they should keep Ezeli and shed off Varejao after he gets his ring. We need another David lee type of player. If we had lee tonite, he would have put up Draymond's numbers and had a defensive presence
I'll take Ariza, Batum or Crowder for Barnes, with a lesser pay sef Lmao you have my mindset. Either boy or girl they must choose one sport Barnes is very replaceable, the guy cannot create his own shot, average defender. I rate Green, Klay, Iggy even Steph ahead of him defensively David Lee was another underrated ninja in last year's Finals. His rebounding was very helpful and he chipped in with a few buckets too You don't overpay a 4th maybe 5th wheel when the league is bursting with those caliber of players dying to win a Chip. His PER is below the league average FFS Its how the Spurs remained relevant for so long |

SIRcumalot: small forwards that can score and defend the opponent best wing no plenty. name the guys make we see ? Barnes is an average to mediocre defender abeggi. As for his scoring I can only remember him performing in Game 4. He was shooting at 36% coming into this series Batum Oladipo Deng Bazemore Morris Ariza Crowder Hell even yours truly would replace Barnes in Golden State easily. He is fortunate because cap space is soon to hit an all-time high but if the Warriors are smart they would let him go elsewhere. Because by the time Steph and Klay are due an extension they better be ready to pay up |

FBS: Funny you say that because it is precisely what you guys do but may I repeat though that this is not even the case here.
Roman Zozulya (that Ukrainian player) had nothing on that ball. What he (Boateng) did was to stop his very own deflection into the net. EOD.
And you cant even compare that to Clarks' Nothing kwa? If Boateng wasn't there does the ball get to the other Ukranian. Yes or nyet? It was not a deflection, that was the only way he could keep the ball out in that position. Neutrals praising Boateng for that stop are not phools. At whatever velocity the ball was travelling Boateng stopped it with a part of his body that would reduce its speed by default. It was a block not a deflection How is it not comparable? Zozulya was much closer to goal than Zlatan? That was a terrible O.G to concede |

SIRcumalot: but why should curry stop giving is all ? when he also wants to get the max the next payday. concerning Barnes, then you will lose him and see how hard it is to find a wing that gives you what Barnes. I still expect the warriors to do well but na the first crack be that . What does Barnes give? I want to know before I list like 5 ninjas that would replicate and charge far less. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by A40(m): 11:44am On Jun 14, 2016 |
FBS: This is hypocritical to say the least because it is clearly something you guys never do but that's not even the case here. Besides, the ball wasn't at full speed else no gobe be that.
Now compare it to that of Fab's and let us know what you think. Unless in defense of my Bayern players when you guys are downgrading them I always give credit. Why would you guys see black and call it white just to rubbish Boateng and for no reason whatsoever either It was moving at a reasonable speed and would have led to a goal for Ukraine. Had it hit any other part of his body it would have gone in, he didn't just stop the ball by utilzing fantastic body control but also recovered to clear out of harm's way |

SmooshCHN: Hahahahaha for a Starter?? You're wicked oo.. He deserves $64M and he's dumb to refuse it. Everytime I remembered the best player on the team plays his heart out with $44M 4years and he keeps missing open shots everytime. A40 it was really really bad 2nd half of the season Kerr still believed in him to start every game. If he goes fine. But as Birdman said, money plays a big factor. Maybe $75M would be OK. If he's given max, how much will Curry, Klay Thompson, Iguodala collect next year with how much they've played? Lakers would be shooting themselves in the foot if they offer max. Seriously. Being a starter means zilch. Derek Fisher was also starter. Get a veteran who doesn't mind coming off the bench. Cannot consistently create a shot, cannot rebound, average defender and 5th wheel of the team wan collect pass $16m a year? I trust Pop, na ontop bullet train dem go use chase am comot |

Donlittle: I think the only way he stays is if he reflects truthfully that he underplayed this year, or if L.A watches this and decides not to offer him the kind of money he wants.
Yeah, He played well in the finals, but what about the regular season? I do not know because i did not watch him like that. He hasn't played well this year at all, But i will give him the benefit of the doubt because he has been injured all year.
Iguodala, and curry would be the guys they should hold on to for me. The others are replaceable. Barnes na average ninja. His defense is meh and when he is not knocking spot up 3's is next to useless, Bazemore with the Hawks was much better and it looks like the Warriors should have held on to him and offloaded Barnes Ezeli na high energy guy off the bench, having a good regular season doesn't matter much if u can come off the bench and be an X-factor the other team cannot scout or gameplan for, I think he simply regressed badly this year. Struggling with the basics like simply catching the ball in traffic |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 5:23am On Jun 14, 2016 |
SmooshCHN: He refused $64M for 4 years and wanted Max, Curry got $44M 4years and plays his heart out on every game. Most players care about the money these days. Considering the fact he usually misses those wide open 3s sometimes he wouldn't even be offered Max and he knows well he doesn't worth it. As a fan, I want him to stay and be a great player and not just run to Lakers because he's given max when he surely won't play better than what he's doing at Warriors. He refused $64m guaranteed? Lol naa you have to be kidding me. Me I go born for court or stadium. I don't even know who is dumber, the Warriors for offering that much or him for turning it down. If I were a GM I can't pay him more than $5m a year |

Donlittle: L.A is giving him the max bro... He is gonna take the max from L.A because this might be his PayDay Contract. Might not get an offer like this again. He would be easily replaced and L.A would overpay for another average joe like they have done in recent times And Ezeli did very well last finals I recall in lucid details |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 5:07am On Jun 14, 2016 |
The 4th game is always the hardest to win. The Warriors didn't have a good enough start to demoralize the Cavs and that was the problem. With Green back for Game 6 I like the Warriors chances. Always of the opinion that it is easier to close out a series on the road especially when the other team still needs a couple more wins. The poise and laser focus is easier to channel in a hostile arena
I recommend Game 6 of this year's Stanley Cup final Penguins vs Sharks to watch and remind themselves how to win a Championship game. Lemme reiterate that it would be easier for Golden State to win Game 6 than Game 7
In the offseason that Barnes ninja better take whatever the Warriors offer him. If he thinks he's worth a max contract then he is mad delusional |

Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 1:07am On Jun 14, 2016 |
Mizzzbeee: OKAY, CHECK THIS OUT: I respect LeBron James for EVERYTHING he does off the court... He is the greatest all-around player the game have ever seen. (Not the best player EVER though...JORDAN.) He is a tremendous guy. But he is about to learn that you simply cannot PUNK your way into an NBA Title. Ever since he came into to media's focus (At 17 years of age, he's been called THE CHOSEN ONE.), LeBron James has had a sense of entitlement. And it's been well-deserved, because we have never seen anyone with the wide array of skills he has put on display for 13 years.
When it's all said and done he will finish with 32-35K points, 9-10 K rebounds and 7-8K assists. Phenomenal. Having said that, His recent actions have indicated that 1) The NBA has gotten waayyyy too soft; 2) He is doing whatever he can to protect his brand and/or bring the city of Cleveland its first sports title in 52 years; or, in the alternative 3) he's acting a little spoiled/insecure or is threatened by the meteoric notoriety of Stephen Curry. Why do I say this? 1) Think about his comments after Steph Curry became the NBA's first unanimous MVP - "They should redefine the definition of MVP." - NEVER MIND THE FACT THAT HE'S A FOUR-TIME RECIPIENT OF THE AWARD. 2) His Comments about Golden State's Steve Kerr and his Coach-Of-The-Year Award. (He felt another coach deserved it - Terry Stotts of Portland). and now this...
After Game Four, he and coach Tyronn Lue proceeded to go on a long tirade about the officiating - Ironically, The Cavaliers have been the more physical team throughout the series - of which included the Draymond Green incident where he precipitated Draymond's reaction by stepping over/straddling him. Should Draymond been suspended for this? OF COURSE NOT. I'VE SAT COURTSIDE AND HEARD A WHOLE LOT WORSE FROM THE GAME'S FIERCEST COMPETITORS. (But I will say that his ban is the culmination of everything) Having watched basketball for over 40 years, I have never seen anything like this "Whimpery." And the ringleader of all this crying is the game's greatest talent. REAL GANSTAS MOVE IN SILENCE, LADIES AND GENTLEMAN.
This, right here is exactly why as great as Lebron James Is, he will never be considered the Greatest there ever was. It's almost as if he's showing a lack of mental toughness against what may be his greatest challenge, and that's sad for the basketball purists. Bill Russell, Bob Cousy, George Mikan, Hal Greer, Wilt, Kareem, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Reggie Miller, Gary Payton, Isaiah, Shaq , Kobe, Charles Oakley, Patrick Ewing, Karl Malone, Charles Barkley, John Stockton and Michael Jordan are shaking their heads right about now.----BY William Cooper #Endorsed He's a snitch bi*h like Lucious Lyon sang and a mental midget. That guy been no need yarn pass that one |

Why should draymond even use such word on another player to the extent the media knew about it...... You can't be getting fouled and not voice it out loud.
You are just a certified hater. What team do you support oga? Your boy is a puna abeg. For all his ishan he is such a mental midget. Openly whining about fouls, his actions in Game 4 screamed frustration. Its a shame his coach or should I say yes-man also cannot help but enable him. I hope the Warriors put up a beatdown on the Cavs even worse than the Celtics did the Lakers in 08 Now to the Draymond matter. I think Draymond only has himself to blame. He knew the shenanigans his actions in the previous round put him into. He was at the point that even if LeHype whoze am e suppose turn the other cheek, I woulda been screaming blue murder if he was a first time offender |

datGuyJoo: My Guy, whats up. Great points you have there. While I agree with you on This is Lebron team/roster, I feel the Cavs need to just develop their own type of style/plays that work for them. That is what GSW do and OKC and Spurs. If the Cavs keep trying to counter teams like GSW, whats the guaranty they even meet in the finals again? what if Cavs meet Spurs in next years finals? All the planning for GSW would be for naught (for all we know Cavs may not even make it to the finals next year - Go Raptors) and then Spurs maybe blow them away because Spurs play Spurs basketball.
Find what works for you and stick to it, I mentioned before in my earlier posts about management taking the Organization 5, 6, 7, 8 moves ahead! So far Cavs are just playing catchup, they do not have a solid basketball identity How can they when they have put all their eggs in LeQueen's basket. How do you get players to go all in in such situation? If they win he gets the credit, if they lose they get all the blame. Not saying there is one way to win a Chip but when 4 players in your starting V come from the draft its so much easier to forge an identity |
