Donlittle: maybe its a fluke, maybe its not, we will wait till next year to know. Disappointed in curry man, if your shot is not going in, find a way to get other people involved, but i guess you can't do that when you are playing with barnes and ezeli. They need to leave or sign below what they were asking for. They disappointed big time. Ohh the primary blame goes on Curry. I have always known Barnes to be a wasteman so I was not remotely suprised by his performance, Ezeli is Ezeli another spare tire in the squad. If Curry played as well as Kyrie did never mind LeBron the Warriors win this thing. This was his second finals and he played even worse than his first. Even if we agree he was playing hurt doesn't explain why he had more turnovers than assists and kept picking up dumb fouls as well If I were Warriors GM I'm not matching Barnes offer sheet even if it were for $1m. Get a legit big and try to see if I can get a guy like Deng on the wing, hell I heard Jimmy Butler might be available. I guarantee you LeBron not dropping those numbers with Butler guarding him. Have to separate the chaff |

Eruditor: Time heals all. It was easier for GSW to bounce back from the loss than CAVS.
They need to be credited. They beat GSW twice ahome to win this.
Kerr made the mistake of trusting Ezeli but all the pundits felt Ezeli should have started this game. He missed those early easy shots and that easy lay up when Love was guarding him. To me his defending was also slack.
Curry needed another 3 in that 4th Quarter but it didn't drop. There was doubt in his eyes. He hesitated too much to knock his threes.
At 89 a piece if Iggy had knocked that layup or dunk, even if Kyrie knocked that 3 it would have been a 1pt game. I know why I harped on mentality and seizing the moment. Knowing what your team needs at any given time. Steph just didn't show it all season long and really neither did Klay. Your best two scorers don't combine for 31pts in a Game 7 and you hope to get a W. Cleveland played their part but when you get outscored by 22pts by your opposite number 9/10 you lose the series. Sometimes you need to want it more. Did you see that block? M.J flu game scoring 45pts out of his team's 87, Dirk in 2011 You can't coach that. If you want a Chip you don't go scoreless on your floor for the last 4 and a half mins |

What's there to be said. Barnes affirms his trash status again.
Draymond Green. What a player. He recognizes the moment and is seizing it. I wish Klay and Steph can do the same. Cavs fans like to brag about LeFlop but a motivated Green is also a force of nature. 22-6-5
The start of the 3rd will be key. Klay and Steph have to cook. You don't want to be dragged in a slugfest with these guys. Not played well yet up 7. Doesn't get no better than that
Might as well go with Speights if I were Kerr too. That Barnes na -1 |

Iggy turns 33 in January Iggy has a bad back that may not be going anywhere anytime soon, if you know about back injuries in the NBA, you should understand what i am talking about. CC: Everyone You gats to extend Iggy. He won you a Chip. Back issues can be managed. I'd give him a 2 year team friendly deal. Maybe $16m. Weah96: I agree with you on the role players. But I can only see one winner tomorrow with Iguodala having back problems.
If Barnes makes his wide open shots, Cavs will be in trouble, but I still see LeBron getting layups or fouls at will. The bench will decide the game. The thing is if the Warriors execute nothing for LeBron. He would get his stats and win the battle but it would ultimately not matter because the Warriors would win the war. It starts with Steph being aggressive knowing when to settle for 3's or put the Cavs in foul trouble early. The Warriors will get calls so Cavs better brace up. Some of the screens James set were borderline illegal in Game 5 he won't get away with it at the Oracle |

Roland17: The campaign to crown Queen James finals MVP irrespective of Sunday's game 7 result is becoming rifle and i honestly think it is a legitimate campaign.
It is one that holds substance if we are to argue with fact and numbers. If he repeats a dominant performance in Oakland and loses with neither splash brothers showing up BIG TIME, i think Queen James should be seriously considered for the MVP because he has played with consistency thus far.
#greenrunsdeep If the Cavs win then yes he deserves, however if he has a poor or average Game 7 and say Steph Curry goes like 40-8-6 I'd probably give it to Steph. I just think the guy with the Chip should get the MVP |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 10:30pm On Jun 18, 2016 |
Weah96: I agree, the bench need to step up big time. And Kyrie has to be contained 1on 1, otherwise it's too much headache on D. I really expect them to lose, even if Steph puts up 40. The Warriors just need to be aggressive from the jump. Role players need to step up and knock down shots when the time calls for it. Guys like Barnes should be embarassed and pissed off to see the Cavs give him the Tony Allen treatment on offense. Curry is a rhythm guy. If he stays out of foul trouble and starts cooking early it becomes contagious and Klay and Green usually join in the fun. A good start is key, get some plays, a steal here, a block there it would phuck with them mentally. I know for certain that if the Warriors can get to a good start the Cavs would have to abandon their gameplan and start chucking up 3's. And this would play into the Warriors |

GBR1: Fair enough and that should reflect on his price. He's a 27 player on the last year of his contract. That is up for the club to decide. The duration or his age is immaterial GBR1: I'm not underrating any chasing pack. As it stands, some of those clubs have lost some of their best players and are bound to lose even more. Dortmund isn't gonna finish out of 4 that easily but even if they were to finish out of top 4, I don't see how much an unhappy Mikhi would do to change that. He's most likely never gonna replicate this performance again for Dortmund. None of them so far stands to lose 4 of their starters in one window. Gladbach has only lost Xhaka and were handsomely compensated for it, Leverkusen has not lost anyone, Dortmund has lost 2 already with potentially two to go. What a happy or unhappy Mikhi would do is moot. This is football not a marriage. He still has to play or not get paid GBR1: So you think it's right for Dortmund to deny Mikhi his dream move when they let Gundogan and Hummels leave? 2 German players who have stayed longer and are supposed to be more loyal compared to a foreigner in Mikhi who is Armenian? Did those players become too big for Dortmund too? What is the logic in that? Dortmund are simply playing hardball here. You mean they are fine being Bayern's b1tch but would put up a fight because it's not Bayern but United? They are only playing hardball here insisting that's he's not going (until he gets sold) and don't wanna send a bad signal to other players. What is this loyalty, dream club megedefegede you are on about? We paid Dortmund's fee for Hummels, almost 40m euros its not like we abducted him. You want to now underpay for their highest assist provider, the guy with the most assists in the league this last season. Una be osho free. Why not meet their valuation and stop whining about who is playing hardball as if they don't have the rights to do so. Didn't you pluck Kagawa for 17m while we paid 37 for Goetze? Did we complain? GBR1: Even when those top players did not leave, they weren't able to compete with Bayern. I admire Dortmund as a club but they'll never be able to compete with Bayern unless they improve their revenue and financial standings. They have a good scouting network, top notch football management etc but they can only win stuff or be successful when Bayern is in a bad spell or going through football troubles. That's simply not competition! They competed last season. We only beat them on penalties in the cup and we were crowned Champions the penultimate week. They clearly made improvements from the previous season. Atletico cannot match Madrid or Barca's revenue either but they are still competing. With the windfall they have gotten from Hummels and permacrock Guendogan they should be able to compete if they are prudent. This has absolutely nothing to do with Bayern. GBR1: You are being naive here. It would be quite silly for Dortmund to throw €30-40 away by losing a player on a free because they are unsure they'll make CL football without him and I doubt it'll go that way. At best they get the money early and shop for a replacement who would slot in easily. They are very much capable in that way. What is naive is expecting Dembele and some ninja from the Danish League to make up for Mikhi right off the bat. Besides their net spend is still very much in the green. If they hold on to Mikhi and perhaps Aubameyang they can compete in the league and make some noise in the CL. That also lets Dembele and Mor ease into the squad and don't have to handle so much pressure. They are not particularly cash strapped so if you are not ready to meet their valuation why not beat it and come back by January or so GBR1: I doubt his prospective employers would care that much when they are gonna get him on a free and he could sign a pre contract as early as January. He's most likely not gonna leave the next club putting up a fight because he'll be old by then and this is his last big move and chance to earn a very good income compared to what he's getting now at Dortmund or what they could offer in his new contract. Players aren't fools, they wanna win stuff but also want to get paid very well. Dortmund cannot offer either consistently. At United now with Mourinho in charge, getting paid well is already guranteed(we can pay very good wages even Bayern can only dream of) and there's a very good chance of winning stuff too. That's why it's not so difficult to figure out why he wants to come to United. Now thinking of this, Bayern could very well be in the mix and get him for free next season while they become stronger and weaken Dortmund who would receive no fee for him and I'm not in the slightest suprised you'd want things to end up that way. You are a Bayern fan after all. Its cool if they opt not to worry about that. What I don't get is your whining about their stance when you can easily meet up their valuation or keep it moving Well since you have the financial muscle like you are bragging about here, Then pay up and cut the speech and Martin Luther chat. The idea of Bayern being in for Missitaryan is clearly Burukutu induced . Show me one Bayern fan who is interested in him. Mkhitaryan |

Weah96: He's their only rim protector. Draymond is 6'8" same size as LeBron. He got removed last year to stretch the Cavs defense, not because of his own defense. The way to stop LeBron is to make him shoot jumpers. They don't have the personnel to do that in game 7 with no 7 footers. In addition to that, Iguodala will play with an injury. It doesn't look good. They would need some magic from Klay and Steph. Still his minutes are at a very low clip and I can only point to one game where he has been really effective. More pressing is Steph Curry's turnovers and foul trouble, we also have a wannabe max contract player who is shooting 2/22 in the last 2 games and cannot rebound or stop a nosebleed on the defensive end. LeBron has found his jumper so the presence of Iggy can only do so much The Warriors need to focus on themselves. This is Game 7 in your home floor X-factors like Livingston, Barbosa gats to step up and contribute |

Weah96: The loss of Andrew Bogut is going to prove fatal for the GSW. They have no rim protection, and LeBron and Co. will earn FTs on that small lineup. Hopefully Iguodala recovers by gametime otherwise it's really over. There's no one left to defend LeBron. If they lose I guarantee you it wouldn't be because of Bogut. He is averaging like 13mins per game and rarely plays in the 4th so I'm not quite sure he is that key to their hopes. Remember the Warriors had to yank him out of the lineup to win last year. |

GBR1: These agents do their job well obviously. There's a reason most top players have them as agents. Not really about the agents its about the player. A lot of Mendes's clients are overpriced without them necessarily delivering the goods GBR1: He had a decent first season but the 2nd was quite poor (Dortmund season was quite bad) and the 3rd excellent. That's what I meant by saying he hasn't been entirely poor. I can't give him higher than 50% he's not set the league on fire till this year GBR1: Keeping Mikhi would help them qualify for what? I hope you don't mean champions league as they have one tied up for next year because I don't any serious Bundesliga team displacing them from the 2nd position. Losing Mikhi might be a loss but it's quite negligible in the scheme of things and I know they'll snap a replacement for him in no time or maybe they even one already in Dembele or mor though it remains to be seen. The challenge should be finishing first against Bayern and doing well in Europe. You are really underrating the chasing pack. Schalke, Leverkusen, Wolfsburg and Gladbach. The loss of Mkhitaryan their highest assist provider would be negligible? Even after losing Hummels and Guendogan? You think Aubameyang will not follow? Wolfsburg lost just De Bruyne and see where they ended So it is Dembele, Bartra or Mor from Danish League that would help them compete with Bayern. Even Simeone cannot do that GBR1: Less than €30 is not an insult for a player on the last year of his contract knowing they could lose the player for free (even to Bayern) and get nothing next season and they'll have an unhappy player on their hands who most likely won't perform going by history of his sensitivity and temperament. It's gonna be lose lose for Dortmund here. United like throwing cash away but there's a reason we bidded that low and it was spot on. Whatever they get would not be enough if they miss out on CL football. That extra season would give Mor and Dembele time to adapt instead of being thrown straight into the fire If he chooses to be unhappy that is his problem. It just shows he is a poor professional and he would look bad to his prospective employers |

Nihilist: That doesn't sound like you were thinking outside the box though.
If you were studious enough to notice patterns and make informed decisions on them, then it sounds like you're taking the logical and thought out option...
Even when you think you're playing like a maverick, on a subconscious level, you're actually playing it very savvy.
You might just be a natural at this For example. You see Ukraine vs Northern Ireland or Portugal vs Iceland the natural thing is to give Ukraine and Portugal the win. What if you flip the script? And simply ask yourself who guaranteed you that win? And play the opposite. It would cost you less and the rewards are more satisfying. I just try to be as unconventional as possible. I follow patterns too but a true gambler always puts money on the longshot at some point. Make I know when you wan go online.
