dayokanu: I still remember the game the dark days of Klinsman with Lell, Ottl, Breno, Rensing manning our defence line
Ironically Jurgen Klinsmann was actually the guy that drew me to Bayern! Way back in 95. Growing up he was my number 1 player followed by Andy Moller (that chicken wing celebration was classic) funny that he ended up being our worst coach in recent times

I don't want to say Hamilton got it wrong by joining Mercedes but he could have waited a bit to be priced by either Ferrari or Red Bull. Fingers still crossed but it is not yet a happy switch. Practice so far at the Malaysian Grand prix hasn't been good for the Mercedes powered teams
RBR won't even pay the kind of money Hamilton would want plus like biolabee pointed out he is a tad too loud! Dude talks too much
Seems like Mercedes has resolved their issues! Did much better in qualifying today

MRbrownJAY: Vettel on pole with 2 Ferraris breathing down his neck.........man, tomorrow is going to be another exciting race!
Massa outqualify Alonso again......GRRRRRRRRRRRR
Hehehehehehehe

Sutil has been quite impressive on his return so far
Alonso also has to worry about Lewis on his heels (not holding my breath on that tho! Alonso has the faster car)
If Vettel manages his tires he would win this easy the track is wet but not dangerous

Don't be disrespectin a gee like James Harrison! We are gonna miss that nucca! He was the enforcer, the judge, jury and executioner on opposing QB's he struck fear in the hearts of many Offensive linemen

This year's Free Agency movement is just mad!!! As usual there would be some teams that would end up as magas (Dolphins for spending 65mil on Mike Wallace grin 30mil guaranteed) and other teams that would end up with bargains.

Am I the only one that thinks the Ravens are giving away too much to keep Joe Flacco? Worst part is without these guys Flacco would not even be in a position to get to the playoffs due to the average regular season QB he is, they've lost

Boldin - 49ers
Lewis - Retirement
Pollard - Titans
Ellerbe - Dolphins
Kruger - Browns
And now Ed Reed to the Texans! I think or hope they have it really phucked up next season grin

Bush to the Lions and the Bears release Brian Urlacher
Alex Smith to the Chiefs, Wes Welker to the Broncos

As a Steeler its sad to see James Harrison released! Thanks for the memories Deebo a.k.a Silverback! Time for that bum Lamarr Woodley to get to work! Thanks to his bloated contract he is one of the reasons why #92 was offered a paycut which he sadly rejected
Colon gone as well along with Mike Wallace who wants a bigger paycheck than his performances command

MRbrownJAY: face it bro, the RBR had no pace and couldnt compete with the others "this time", qualifying on top is not all that is needed to win a race.
I'm happy that the "gap" between the cars is non-existent so should Vettel go on and win this season there would be no excuses from your camp. Frankly Kimi is the bigger threat for me! He has a dangerous car this year

MRbrownJAY: whether he qualified well or not, his teammate very rarely qualified ahead of him, and now here is that same teammate who goes to lap faster than Alonso all weekend. you do the bloody math.
You make it sound like Massa is a scrub? What is this ninja talking about? Before his horrific accident he was a title contender! Can he not outrace Alonso abi didn't we see it at latter parts of last season

MRbrownJAY: the championship was much more than that FINAL race.......if you think Vettel didnt work just as much as Alonso to win that one, then you are living on la la land.
Too bad he lost

MRbrownJAY: winning 4 or 5 races in a row is not what is going to make anyone win the championship, unless they can be consistent on the podium.......thats why last yr there was only 2 title contenders within the last few races. making it look like Vettel had it in the bag (long before Brazil) is a damn lie and we all know it!

anyway lets see how it all goes in Malaysia.
Vettel did have it in the bag! Had he not dropped the ball in USA the Brazil race woulda been a formality

occam: True. sadly, no stars, no ring. They usually entertain us in regular season and flame out in playoffs. Maybe they can reach western finals this year
The 04 Pistons say hi grin grin

My worry for them is their inexperience if they can overcome that then anything can happen! OKC would not beat Miami they just don't have the depth needed in my eyes,Spurs need to get Parker back and the Clippers have the worst free-throw shooter in the game in DeAndre Jordan I feel awful for even tipping them earlier

The East is buttersoft! Maybe the Heat where just taunting them cos I'm at a loss as to how they got a 27pt lead without Irving and Varejao

jackbauersballs: Dude speak with intelligence
Did The players you mentioned all play in the same team and under the same manager?
So what system are you talking about.
Mazacar formed this season, and this is what we are talking about!
Negro STFU!! You are full of caca!! The reference is for Torres who has failed under 3 different managers playing for different teammates and still producing one outcome. What of the previous seasons? Was Mazacar there too abi what is the meaning of this megedefegede u just scribbled?

jackbauersballs: This season Lampard is Chelsea's leading goal scorer in the league with ZERO assists while playing as a defensive midfielder
Lampard is playing for a record how many times do I have to drum this in your ears? This is his only shot afterall who knows if he would get a new deal? Isn't it curious that an erstwhile assist king has none to his name this season

jackbauersballs: This Calendar Year, Hazard and Mata have more goals than either Ba or Torres
If you cannot see the obvious elephant in the room, then you should have gone to Specsavers!
How wouldn't they? What have Ba and especially Torres been doing with the chances they have been getting? Torres has no goals in the league! Must he get 100,000 chances before he manages a miserly goal??

sephia: Exactly, meaning the system can never be the problem.
Bad workerman would always blame his tools! System that produced assist machines like Lampard,Malouda,Mata,Hazard,Robben,Duff e.t.c
Am I supposed to believe that system is the reason why Torres took over half a day! 14 matches and 12 hours of football to score a goal grin grin
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by A40(m): 3:32pm On Mar 21, 2013
sephia: Ba is far from reaching dud status unlike Torres who has proved it over and over again that scoring is a chore for him. Let Ba have more playing time and see if he will squander his chances, only then will i agree he has failed and the system might be the problem.
The same system that has produced 3 golden boot winners for Chelsea since 04/05 season abi which other club has surpassed that?
Torres has failed already! Ba's case is provisional and should he fail its on him really! Not the system

nitlad: With Master Pirlo delivering inch perfect balls from set plays, and monsters like Chiellini, Barzagli et al lurking, you can bet your a$s they would exploit this to maximum brutality! grin
Till then bruh till then

nitlad: Ashley Cole has been hacking away goal bound balls with his head since the beginning of time, and he's not the tallest footballer around undecided
Stop fibbing! He woulda needed an elevator to get to that ball! A fast one at that! I wish John Brenkus could come and calculate the velocity of that header

nitlad: Thing is, had Boateng tried to keep Drogba on a tight leash, rather than pushing him, giving him much needed momentum to attack the ball ferociously that goal could have probably been avoided. undecided
We are saying the same thing not that it matters now! He reacted poorly to the situation! He's always seemed a bit slow mentally IMO

dayokanu: Exactly Men at the post would have stopped kolscieny, even Rolfes goal this weekend

I dnt understand all those rubbish. I first noticed it in 2009 and it has become more prevalent now
I'm sure our next opponent Juve is already working on exploiting that weakness! I wonder why Juup has not addressed it! A basic but potentially fatal flaw in a tight game where the opposition knows a good delivery can lead to a goal if they can simply force a corner! Which is ridiculously easy to do

nitlad: So Drogba's bullet would have been stopped had a man being at the post? Man at the post ko, man in the mirror ni tongue grin undecided lipsrsealed lipsrsealed

Ok nah, koni s'ewu cool
Well with a taller ninja there you never know! But that's besides the point! That system does not allow for accountability as players are always confused as to who to mark! In that instance Boateng and Van Buyten where the closest to Drogba! One didn't react quick enough while the other didn't react at all

dayokanu: Its the stuupid zonal marking rubbish going on right now

And coaches relunctance to mark the two goal post

Whats the point in having dwarfs like Lahm and Alaba when they cant stay at the Post but some people argue that its a tactical blunder to have someone at the post.

Even Ulli hesse. The Soccernet german football analyst supports it

http://espnfc.com/columns/story/_/id/982188/uli-hesse:-coach%27s-corner?cc=5901
How can having someone at the post be a tactical blunder? A man at the post woulda cleared Koscielny's header! This zonal marking megedefegede is one of the reasons why we are not Champions of Europe
Why would anyone insist on marking space like its the "space" that makes the headers it is very annoying especially with relatively tall players like Dante,Martinez,Gomez,Mandzukic,DVB and Boateng why should we still be so susceptible to goals from set-pieces? So many why's

I was going to bring up a flaw in Bayern's game for a while under the Juup era but I keep forgetting! Not this time though. What is it with our constant inability to defend corner kicks? Saturday was the 2nd straight game and I can remember Dortmund earlier in the season and Chelsea in the UCL! The most annoying part is we possess the height so could it be down to poor coaching fundamentals in that part of the field?

nitlad: Oh well then, my people will be expecting to hear from your people.
By Easter weekend I go don know how far

Wait lemme

MRbrownJAY: ^^^ come on bro, Vettel did not make any mistakes, he just drove poorly, as he usually does when there is someone "worthy" ahead of him!

Alonso a poor qualifier compared to his teammate?! i can see you are starting this season with symptoms of heavy amnesia....... how often did Massa qualify ahead of Alonso last season? since you forgot, let me help you: only TWICE out of 20 races (Italy and Brazil GP), and you dare say that Alonso is a poor qualifier at Ferrari. as for your gearbox claims, abeg!

yes Vettel won fair and square, but to say (or insinuate) that he won easily is a joke....the boy had to fight till the end, and it could have gone Alonso's way as it went to Vettel's.

last yr wasnt fun for either Vettel or Alonso, as they had to be at the top of their game till the last race. it was great for us to watch but to say that Vettel wants to make it fun for all (as if he is having fun) is wrong. the guy wants to win, he doesnt want to make it fun for anybody, and it sure aint "fun" for him when he is NOT on the top of the podium. you best believe that he wanted desperately to win in Australia, just as any other race.

He drove poorly when his tyres where about giving out on him? You think everyone would drive reckless like Hamilton and crash out of the race?
He got 15 crucial pts maybe he shoulda gotten more and he could also have ended up with none

MRbrownJAY: Alonso a poor qualifier compared to his teammate?! i can see you are starting this season with symptoms of heavy amnesia....... how often did Massa qualify ahead of Alonso last season? since you forgot, let me help you: only TWICE out of 20 races (Italy and Brazil GP), and you dare say that Alonso is a poor qualifier at Ferrari. as for your gearbox claims, abeg!
I said Alonso does not do well at qualifying I was not comparing him to just Massa! Maybe you have some reading difficulties sha

MRbrownJAY: yes Vettel won fair and square, but to say (or insinuate) that he won easily is a joke....the boy had to fight till the end, and it could have gone Alonso's way as it went to Vettel's.
Alonso had to do much more than Vettel to win yet Vettel ran thru most of the field twice to get the 6th place finish he needed to win! Compare that to Alonso who couldn't pass Petrov in his own situation and spent the whole race a sitting duck
