You and your fake jazzman would be left with egg on your faces. Alonso would be forced to retire while pushing his car beyond its threshold. Vettel would overtake Webber early and finish no lower than 2nd grin

Who are they? And you have to factor the adaptation period

MRbrownJAY: ^^^^^so the fact that Vettel's car has been having problem during the whole P3, AND that he had to stop his car on the track, is not a concern to you?

bro, as we speak, Baba Ijebu is in front of me speaking tongues, assuring me that DNF THERE WILL BE AT RBR TOMORROW!!!!

i am more concerned about "el demonio" Maldonado who is ahead of Alonso!
Una plan no go work. Webber would prolly give way for Vettel at Turn 1 and Vettel would pursue Lewis till he eventually overtakes him! You can bet Seb and the crew would be up all night working on those breaks. He is an excellent manager of resources and he would bring that car home

Roland17: Noo buddie, my team sucks too...lol

If you take a good look at the current Lakers roaster, Kobe is the only potent ball shooter they got inside-out and if Mike brown thinks running a Princeton offense which takes the ball away from the PG owing to constant ball passing and rotation would fit the Lakers then he must be on another planet, also this is the worst Lakers bench i have seen in a very long while.

Like i earlier stated in previous posts, the Lakers need a better sub PG other than Steve Blake.
They had Ramon Sessions! Younger and much better than Steve Blake. Not suprised the Lakers lost to Lob City those guys would be a lot more dangerous this season with Billups healthy and if veterans like Odom,Grant Hill and Butler show up

James Harden!! Why didn't he play this well in the Finals you wonder

@Royal

But really Badstuber has more or less been LB right from them days of Van Buyten and Demichelis. Even for the Mannschaft at SA 2010 he was primarily a LB till he started screwing up and Lahm took over the role
You and I know he is there cos he is not better than Dante or Boateng. I do feel he is probably being played there for his ability to ping crosses from the left and his general composure on the ball

Hamburg today tho. Not tasted victory there in 6 years
Sports › Re: Formula One Gee-Spot 2012 by A40(m): 12:01am On Nov 03, 2012
Hamilton and Vettel split the 1st and 2nd practices while Alonso could only do 4th and 7th. Alonso can't afford to phunk around in these last 3 races. A pole finish for Vettel tomorrow and you kinda feel the battle is all but over

chic2pimp: Who cares about how many CL finals they've been to? What we care about is how many of them they've won.

Who cares how they lost the finals? What we care about is what the record books will show. Won by MILAN.

Who cares how many back to back finals they've been to? How many of those finals they won is actually we care about.
You alluded in your post that they don't do well in Europe but I just showed you that they have been to 4 UCL Finals! Even if they lost all 4 it still shows that they are contenders in Europe which makes your statement about them only performing in the Serie A look dim

Why has Milan won only 2 Serie A titles in the last 8 seasons? Isn't that a disgrace in itself

Fergie is a jester really! Must there always be someone to blame after any loss? Thankfully he is not blaming the refs this time. Was it Nani that manipulated Wooton's voodoo doll and made him barge into Ramires
What of the 4th goal? Was that on Nani too? His old a$$ should know better
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by A40(m): 11:51pm On Nov 01, 2012
Lol I know I'm starting to sound like a fanboy but that boy is the truth. The article spoke about his winning mentality and I'd I want to also add that bad things tend to happen to Bayern and Germany when he is not on the pitch
Robben is still a factor but he just doesn't seem to show up when it matters most and has all the markings of a nearly man. I don't see that in guys like Neuer and Muller

Heynckes is a rotation meister and its good to know that gone are the days when an injury to Robben and Ribery used to cause palpitations for Bayern fans. Defensively I've not been satisfied with Badstuber and Boateng of late Badstuber especially its probably not such a bad thing he is injured at the mo

I dunno about the Spurs still think they would just fall about short. The darkhorses for me are the Clippers if Blake Griffin has been working on his post-game plus the Clips are arguably the deepest team in the West. Lob-City won't work every night

The Lakers are now 0-2 and what's worse Steve Nash has injured his knee

Shoutout to the Mavs was always going to be difficult to win back to back road games in Utah and LA

James Harden made a huge statement in his debut for the Rockets 37 pts 12 assists! Goodness!

chic2pimp: Jube can remain unbeaten in the League til eternity for all I care. *won't be that surprised if we found out Moggi orchestrated this one too*

The true and real test of their mettle still remains how well they perform in the CL.

For a club the size of Jube, 2 europeans cup is total and utter disgrace. Even Inter y'all like to tease have won it more times.
Sharrap! They've been to 4 Champions League Finals. Lost one on PK's and even made the Finals back to back from 96-98

Roland17: The Princeton offense which Mick Brown is trying to run would not be effective with the Lakers cos it takes the ball away from Steve Nash, the style usually leaves the PG to high up in the court, Nash does not have pace to defend if there is a turnover when the Princeton offense is being run, i hope he reconsiders this option.
I thought it was just a pre-season malaise with all them L's but you have to wonder if Eddie Jordan's style is well suited to the Lakers. Really this Laker team can only function optimally if they let Nash be Nash plus they have to find a way to play some help defense when Nash is facing younger more athletic PG's guys like Paul,Parker,Collison,Rondo,Williams,Rubio,Chalmers,Lin,Rose,Irving,Lawson,Wall shyte I've listed almost all the PG's in the league grin would probably torch him one on one all night

Roland17: As for the Mavs, i was impressed by Rookie Crowder and Darren Collison, if the Matrix (S. Marion) can return to 20 and 10 like he did 2 seasons ago that would make them stronger, but overall its still early days, i still believe the Mavs would struggle.
Lol I don't think Shawn Marion ever did 20 nd 10 with the Mavs over any consistent period of time! Dude is like 33 or 34 I would take 12 and 8 a night from him at this point. This team has glimpses of the 10-11 season littered with players with a point to prove. If we can get double digits every night from Collison,Beaubois,Mayo,Carter,Brand,Kaman,Nowitzki every night we would be tough to beat

dayokanu: When a player asks me which league is best for his development I tell him the Bundesliga and the La Liga are the best leagues in the world. I'm happy that many of my players play in the Bundesliga because that will improve them. I said to van der Vaart and Afellay it was good for them to move to Germany.

Whether it's Ajax, Barcelona, Alkmaar or the Dutch national team - I always returned as a coach for a second time. It would be nice to return to Bayern. I had a very good time, introduced a new brand of football and I will never forget the people that work at the club.

Unfortunately many people only remember the negative things. The only person at the club who always threatened my departure was Uli Hoeness, no one else. That's why we could never work together again. I know what Uli Hoeness means for the club. It was him that turned the club into what it is today, not Beckenbauer, Breitner or anyone else. But I am of the opinion that it's never good that power is concentrated so much on one person like Uli Hoeness at a big club like Bayern. For me and my work he wasn't good. The President doesn't know what's going on inside the dressing room or on the training pitch, that's why he shouldn't interfere.

I expected the players not to support me. At Bayern there is a structure at which form the presidency all the way down to the trainer everything can be influenced by the president. Uli has a lot of power and he uses it. Even the board can't go against him. Franz Beckenbauer never did that. I want to thank Karl-Heinz Rummenigge for fighting for me for a long time.

I wasn't surprised that Nerlinger had to leave the club. I worked with him and knew under how much pressure he was from Hoeness.

The truth is, although Mr Hoeness says something different, I also wanted Neuer. My plan was to keep Kraft to provide competition for Neuer. Bayern were forced to buy another goalkeeper which wouldn't have been necessary if it went my way.

In my opinion the old problems have returned to Bayern: buy, buy buy.
After my departure no youth player has made it to the first team squad. And the whole world speaks about the relevation at leftback David Alaba. But I played him for the first time.

Lahm and Schweinsteiger are the captains, both took on responsibility during my time. Müller and Badstuber belong to the team's top performers. They all are former youth players. That's important at such a club! These players carry the culture, they represent the club.

[About Hoeness's comments towards Gomez]: You should never do that with Mario Gomez. He's very sensible, like most strikers. I'm sad to see what's happening to Mario. He worked so hard to become a better all-around striker. He rightfully got the starting spot in my second year and won the golden boot.

I never told him to leave the club. I said to the board there's too much competition and pressure among our three strikers and they can't deal with that. That's why I recommended to part ways with one of them. I left it open to them if it was Klose, Olic or Gomez. Olic was the one who could deal with pressure the best. Klose is a type of striker that best fits my system. But Mario was on a good way. We worked with him individually and he improved a lot. People believe I thought of Gomez as a bad striker. The truth is he developed into a good striker under my spell.

I always pointed out that Bayern should learn from Barcelone's game and system. Guardiola would fit in well, but I'm not sure if Mr Hoeness would be happy about it.
I'm sure Guardiola would play with a striker if he didn't have Messi."
Was going to post that article maself. Hardly any suprises there lol since when have the Dutch and Germans seen eye to eye on issues? You gotta respect Van Gaal tho! He got us playing our best footie in almost a decade and got us competitive in Europe again for me our best coach since Hitzfeld. Not forgetting bringing guys like Badstuber,Alaba and Tommy Muller to the fore he needed to understand that Bayern is not Ajax however and we demand titles every season! Not that his policy was a failure but Bayern is just not the club for that
I'm not sure he gave Mario Gomez enough opportunites to flourish however at least not till Klose got the boot but every other part of the article I agree with
