Sports › Re: A Thread For NFL Fanatics - Daily News/Results....Rep For Your Team by A40(m):
shymexx: Alex Smith is a system QB, just as Sam Cassell was in New England when Tom Brady was injured... Put a rookie like RGIII behind that
OL and the 49ers defence, and they would be 8-0 right now..
Common man no one is calling Alex Smith elite! He is improving tho. Passing better making fewer mistakes I mean prior to last year he was more or less a first pick bust. 8-0 indeed! Even in a system setup the QB still has to make those throws and find his receivers you are giving RGIII too much credit here

shymexx: Against Falcons, the Vick had only three snaps in the first half, and the Eagles were never really in that game.
They had to no momentum and there was nothing Vick could've done with the rain ruining the 2nd half.
Lol maybe that's why he didn't fumble the ball grin he had fewer chances to do so

shymexx: Bear in mind that MV7 is just 60% fit after the preseason injury - and coupled with the fact that he has taken
too much beating this season.. If I were in his shoes, I would beg Andy Reid to bench me, and let N. Foles take some of those
weekly beatings... Both Tom Brady and Peyton Manning would struggle behind that terrible OL, and play calling...
I got love for Vick but don't be blaming other people for his mistakes. His O-Line is not as bad as Big Ben's

shymexx: And he holds the ball for too long because deepthrow style of football that the Eagles play... We need bigger receivers for the
red zone another receiver who can run the slant route apart from Avant... However, we also need to mix it up and run the ball more.
MV& can't throw the ball 50/60 times in a game after getting smashed the way he gets smashed week in, week out...
I think Vick always used to over rely on his athleticism even when he was at the Falcons sadly like I pointed out in my previous post age has reduced his athletic durability and is not as wispy quick as he used to be. He's always been an average/slightly above average passer of the ball. Even with a deep threat he would struggle with his limited range! He aint no McNabb! grin grin
What he should focus on for now is handling the ball better

Roland17: My exact thoughts! before this season commenced Vick was everywhere telling anyone who cared to listen that he was going to be playing for Gareth Reids ( the late son of Coach Andy Reid), the season before this one, he was doing the same thing claiming the eagles were going for the title, but we all know what happened, Vick spends too much time in the pocket thinking about what to do with the ball and plays super hero when he's confused to the detriment of the team.
No doubt M.Vick is class, but that class is diminishing by the day, he knows the pressure is on him and Andy Reid.
Lol Vick winning the superbowl! Lol that's a stretch not till he grows a throwing arm at least. He can't consistently throw the ball with the Brees,Brady's,Manning's,Rodgers,Roethlisberger's and he is not as mobile and athletic as he used to be hence the fumbles and sacks. Well the Eagles owner has openly said an 8-8 would be unacceptable

Lol maybe a nigga spoke too soon lol. Really though it would be interesting to see how quickly the new look Lakers grasp Mike Brown's "Princeton" offense. They also need better contributions from their roleplayers! Guys like Blake,Duhon,Jamison and Metta World Peace have to step up! We would see how they bounce back against the Blazers tonight

Amare out for six weeks to two months. Looking like another addition to the Knicks Hall of Busts

The Lakers catching a beatdown from the Mavs without Dirk! Unbelievable!

Roland17: Trevor Ariza of the Wizards scores the first bucket of the 2012/2013 season.
Would never understand why the Lakers traded Ariza for MWP

MWP 3 points in 36 mins! What a wasteman

Sports › Re: A Thread For NFL Fanatics - Daily News/Results....Rep For Your Team by A40(m): 2:31pm On Oct 30, 2012
shymexx: Alex Smith is the most overrated QB in the NFL - he sucks!
Calling someone overrated the night after they go for almost a 100% pass completion isn't exactly a smart move! Woulda been 100 if not for a sloppy receiver! I'm sure he was pretty close to a perfect 140 rating

As for Michael Vick let's face it he is having a stinker! He knows it along with everyone else even in that game against the Falcons he was so-so! Even in a loss we know when a QB tried his best and that was certainly not Vick's best. This is a passing league and till Vick shows he can pass he would not be able to lead the Eagles to the promise land
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 12:13am On Oct 30, 2012
Roland17: Mark Cuban killed his team himself, i just hope they make the playoff's this season, Dirk is out with injuries and am worried that would be his story this season, Delonte West is about being shown the way out of the team over disciplinary issues, O.J Mayo has past his prime am worried Coach Rick Carlisle(one of my favourite coaches) has got nothing to work with this season.
Delonte won't be missed! Who needs a bi-polar nucca anyway? Let him go and get treatment. Dirk would be back he is German and that Kenyan coochie would give him his swagger back. Loool how can O.J Mayo be past his prime? He's not even 25 yet I agree he has stalled some but I don't think he is done. I'm a Mavs fan tho so I'm pissed at Cuban's antics. The team still remains one in transition with guys like Kaman and Brand on short deals the West is LA Lakers to lose really
Sports › Re: A Thread For NFL Fanatics - Daily News/Results....Rep For Your Team by A40(m): 11:45pm On Oct 29, 2012
Too bad Royal aint around I hope you saw Peyton last night?
Another Giants/Cowboys classic! Those guys never play a boring game it seems! Wild finish too with the Dez Bryant TD/No TD
Tony Romo smh! I've never seen a QB that consistently just kills his team when it matters most! Maybe Jay Cutler but Romo's is actually more frustrating because you expect he would learn but he just never does
As for Vick really wasn't his fault the Eagles lost not like he did enough to help them avoid defeat but really the Eagles couldn't stop a nosebleed. The whole franchise just mirrors under-performance

Don't think RGIII played particularly well dropped passes aside but the Steelers are notorious for punishing rookies at a point your defense just has to bail you out

Talking about the Sanchez issue. Ryan would just end up getting fired at last! That Sanchez dude has really been a disappointment had high hopes for him but his pass completion is just shocking the other night he was 28/54 and could only manage 250+ yards and 1 TD against the Dolphins. Unleash Tebow already he can't do any worse

The biggest bust this season however has been Phil Rivers

By the way how are the Bears 6-1?
