By the way Robben and Ribery completed training yesterday. In hindsight resting both of them for Saturday was not a bad move at all! We have a lot of games to play over the next 3 weeks

Do you know the history of ASEC Mimosas, Zamalek or how TP Mazembe is financed?
Loooool look at this foolish troll! U are just name-dropping with no details whatsoever in your posts! Do you know the history of Accra Hearts of Oak, Raja de Casablanca,Club Africain or JS Kabylie? Any Tom,Dickson and Ifeanyi can come up with what you just typed

calid16: Do you know which Nigerian Players shone in Vitoria Setubal, Orlando Pirates or Real Betis?
When you know these you can come back so uncle can teach you more.
I know your kind, forming internet warrior with Google, meet them one on one and them empty pass a$hewo breast

See them calling you all manner of names on other threads, seems you're a new Convert to this rubbish thread. Instead of progress you retrogressing
Your village english aside when someone tells me he doesn't watch any other league apart from the EPL I tend to not take them serious! Because an OG would be conversant with other leagues so obviously you are an ignoramus on footie matters. That is probably why you do not even know where to find real football fans. Creep back to cesspit you just came out from

chic2pimp: They do but Torres is a different case.
His exploits for spain at the Euros with limited game time shows he has still got it. Plus he was actually decent in the first 2 or so games of the season.

Fours years ke? Torres that scored 18 goals in 22 starts in the 2009/2010 season.
Prolonged dip in form! Hehehehehe that's a new one. Let's face it he's been crap for almost 2 years now! His contribution to Spain's cause was so irrelevant he failed to make the team of the tournament

calid16: For your information, not like I care, I'm a fan of the most exciting league in the world. I love good football hence my love for EPL. That is more than be said of one team league
Thought as much! How can you be knowledgeable on footie matters when you don't know beyond the EPL. It takes a rank novice to question a leviathan institution like FCB

Like I said on the other thread football is not by force! You can stick to Jenifa,Keeping up with the Kardashians,Twilight

Those are the two clubs who can produce such scum
I don't like hanging my hat on maybe's but I would make an exception in this case he has to be one of them. With the level of ignorance that simp displayed u have to wonder if the bird brain watches games with his buttcheeks! How can anyone who has watched football for a day in his life ask such a silly question

Babamide: U make it sound like QPR is some team. They've got 2points this season. One from Chelsea and the other from Norwich. We lost to QPR last season due to Bosingwa's foolishness. The 2nd leg was much better. Amidst all the Terry-Ferdinand issue, we thumped them 6-1. RDM was coach and torres got a hattrick. Let us not forget, Torres is still a wuse.
And u make it sound like QPR is not a team. Bottomline is you guys lost! Whoever is responsible hardly matters as usually someone's foolishness is usually required to win games anyway

nateevs: Ogebni A40, go siddon. There should be no such thing as a gung ho in a 4-2-3-1 if deployed effectively. That's why it's a 4-2-3-1. For two defensive mid-fielders to fall back into a flat four if full backs are attacking or creating a solid six-player defensive shield when full backs are not.

Play Romeu and Mikel in the 2 in front the back four. If Romeu and Mikel will be too immobile, play Luiz and Mikel. (One very quick and strong in tackles, the other strong and shields well - both very good passers of the ball). Then Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Cole in defence. That's as rock solid as it can be. No gung ho shiiit!

That way, you have all the freedom for your attacking players. A mobile player in the hole that has the pace to transition play between defence and attack - Hazard and then unleash the pace and unpredictable dribbling ability of Marin, Sturridge and Moses on the flanks and the attacking full backs in Azpilicueta and Cole in turns. We may not win the league but we'll be pissy scary to play against. Torres or not.

However, it's not going to happen. The moment the 34-year old has to play. The balance of the team is altered and everything else has to be adjusted to cope with the frailties.
Mata,Hazard,Lampard that's three creative players behind Torres! Ordinarily that should be enough and the general consensus here is that Ramires cannot play centrally so the flanks are the only option. I do admit that I find it puzzling and would like to know the rationale behind starting Bertrand in such an advanced position but I guess RDM is just keeping faith with last season's heroes that's the only explanation I can think of!

By the way is it just me or has the 2nd season syndrome kicked in for Mata? I have watched Chelsea's games against City,Wigan,Reading,Athletico and Newcastle and the hombre has done absolutely squat!!!

Juve would provide a good test on where this team stands at the mo

Obrigado Mike Vick! He really stepped up tonight for a minute I thought that game was lost!
it has to be said tho that he is still not throwing the ball well but I guess it won't matter to Eagles fans

Some shocking losses this week! Cowboys losing to the Seahawks! The Patriots losing to the Cardinals, Saints losing again (I foresee them struggling a lot this season without Sean Payton)

RGIII was also on the losing side

Glad to see the Mighty Steelers beating the Jets! Big Ben was majestic tonight

By the way is it too early to welcome Alex Smith to the elite QB table?
If some people here will just stop talking with their anus. Whether it is City we beat or S'hampton, I believe all that is at stake is 3 points and we got it - emphatically. We were all present last season when Arsenal was shamefully losing to newly promoted teams and if we are now trashing them 6-1, don't try to make our victories look ordinary.
Why u no kill cow because una beat Southampton? Maybe na only una for the whole Europe win match this weekend

Modric is no Ozil oh! He is good but would not consistently produce like Ozil can.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by A40(m): 11:34pm On Sep 16, 2012
A man that cannot even control simple passes by his teammates or beat his markers is complaining that he is not getting enough touches! This the same person that has shown us that even without a goalie manning the post there is no guarantee he would score! Its fun tho watching excuse after excuse being generated for Torres

Babamide: I think Chelsea's problem is ramirez and bertrand. How do we expect only mata, hazard and torres to do all the attacking.
RDM needs to be reminded that the best for of defence is to attack. Our defenders are nothing to write home about when they meet top opposition. The best we can do is to throw in all attacking options so as to possess the ball more and score more goals can we can concede.
If RDM had gone gung-ho at QPR the same people that where lambasting him for not attacking woulda lambasted him for not defending! Y'all forget that Chelsea and Arsenal lost at this same ground last season

HNIC: ..

Same newly promoted team that led Man citeh at the Etihad stadium 2-1 with 20 minutes to go on the opening day. They lost narrowly 2-3
Same newly promoted team that man utd had to rely on the former Feynoord's star's briliance to come back from 1-2 down to win narrowly 3-2.
First it was,'where would the goals come from, now that the former Feynoord star has gone'?now, its 'you only scored 6 goals against a newly promoted team'
I don't mean to be a party pooper yo but remember the team you beat is rock bottom carrying the rest of the premiership on its able shoulders. Bottomline its too early for all this etighi dancing beat City next week however then maybe yall may be on to something

Lol really this present Milan team na apology. Bonera in defence? Zero creativity in the middle and then featherweights like Sharawy,Bojan in front. Robinho cannot consistently give u goals and well let's not even start with Pato!
Winning the league is out of the argument now its whether Milan would feature in the top 3 that's the question

Ibime is so pissed he posted the same thing twice grin grin

Ibime: A WEAKLING will always be a
Some fools were ranting and raving that if Torres got the same opportunities as Falcao, he woulda score hattrick.

Such ignoramus don't know what balance it took for Falcao to score those goals. Torres would have fallen over.

How do you play professional football and don't know how to protect the ball?

He doesn't have to big like drogba nor barrel chested like tevez and Rooney. Just forking protect the ball in tight areas like van persie.
Tad-ow!!

dayokanu: We wasted too many scoring chances today.

Muller, Mandzukic and Rizarro

We could have ended this in a rout

On to Valencia
Pizarro don dey jogodo for the last two matches now! I saw him in the Peru vs Argentina game and he was wasteful. The game was a strange one really! Easy two goals then the players practically sleepwalked till Mainz pulled one back and then we started wasting chance after chance.
Martinez just looked like pure class! I'm already salivating at the prospects of him partnering with Schweini in that midfield

Saw a bit of valencia tonight my verdict is they are good but too light at the back to escape the Allianz with a result provided we don't get as complacent as we did today

debosky: And? That proves what exactly? At 5-1 and from a poor punch by the GK from Vermaelen's shot?
I'm sure Giroud would have missed that. Anyway even with the little time Walcott had on the pitch he did sumn tangible. Do you know if that is the goal that ensures Arsenal another top 4 finish?
