Persephone1: When you have previous experience or can relate with a concept, you understand it better. As a Yoruba lady who grew up watching half of the actors, I can boldly say the movie is 100 percent. The growth in these actors is overwhelming, the cultural, the custome (I couldn't recognize Adebayo at first sight! Did you see the abs on Lateef? Who would have thought he could play such role, the cultural representation, the cinematography, the storyline, the tales the figures ( amoye role for example is something long forgotten in our world today, hence why history is lost) lol everything about the movie is great.
The person you are defending couldn't see beyond Spartacus and Agojie because that's what he is used to. Point is there are some movies one watch and just move on from not because they aren't nice but you can't relate to.
MT made a fallacy and he has been corrected. We can and should accept it. This us one of the few comments u font come across on Nairaland every now and then. Madam, God will bless you beyond ur imagination. I enjoy reading ur comment and it is quite relatable. I believe that the way this comment is radiating with intellectual thinking so also are you. Once again God bless you for this |

Chimok: Just like Tinubu who claimed to be this or that or have done this or that as Lagos state governor but sadly no longer in his prime to maintain such professionalism or momentum so to say. The recent Wole Soyinka interview where he berated Labour party vice presidential candidate of Labour party - Senator Baba Ahmed Datti and the Obidient family simply pointed to the very fact the Nobel laureate has really passed his prime and may limit his engagement with critical national issue. He is undoubtedly one of the greatest heroes of our time and a real Omoluabi when one reminisces the Omoluabis who have stood tall in confrontation to deadly and dangerous administrations - the Felas, Fawenmis.
We need him forever regarded When he was supporting obi b4 elecction. Nothing is wrong but one condemnation from him now makes him old |

Bukkyc: Thanks, what am trying to say is that I want to go to Gambia, I have my ECOWAS Passport and I won't mind if I can get teaching job for the time that I will be there. But what I need now is that how to get there maybe by road or by air. Just that when I checked for the flight from here to Gambia is around 400k which its too expensive for me. That's why I need advice and also concerning how to get accommodation too. Thanks You can fly through airsenegal as that is less expensive. Around 200k. And I seriously hope you hv accommodation as that is the most challenging thing. But for the job, it is very sure that in less than a month you will get a teaching job |

boringdraw: It's a Fulani man that's the President of The Gambia, that's why the Fulani President in Nigeria is interested in that country. The last election was massively rigged, the are reports opposition parties are planning a big rally. The President is scared it might turn to a quest for regime change. Where do you get your info from. The last election was peaceful and infact the country right now is much more peaceful than the most peaceful state on Nigeria. |
