Lexusgs430: For sure. With the handbrake on the wrong side.its the little things left out that make buyers apprehensive unfortunately most of our marketers don't realize that |
tell them it is converted na! |
after reading through this whole thread one thing i'm wondering is why the warehouse owners don't just store the produce for the farmers and take their cut when its sold. say i'm a farmer and i have 200 bags to sell i sell 120 why not make a deal with the warehouse owner at 200 naira per bag till its sold? This brings only one conclusion: the farmer realizes its a gamble and while he might make his money back he could also lose money and end up in debt to the store keeper. hope all those that invested are monitoring the prices closely and i hope they don't get greedy and not sell when they have a good price in the hope it gets higher |

cr8v: I don't care what anyone says. When Boko Haram was buying, no one knew. If Christians decide to defend themselves it is a pity that it's fellow Christians that will write this trash. Stay there until Boko haram evolves to ISIS and start chasing you defenseless out of your country. The federal govt may not have told the whole truth but these jihadist know how to cover themselves that until now no one knows the sponsors of Boko and how they brought in heavy weapons into the country. At least it is not open in public circles. Festus, stay for Lagos I no blame you, you are not a northern Christian so you will not understandpoint of correction several people have been accused as sponsors of BH but same government has refused to prosecute them. FYI ISIS evolved from exactly this people claiming they need to arm themselves to defend themselves but lo and behold they soon became the oppressors once they had enough powers so no it is not ok for anybody christian or muslim to support the arming of a private army as nothing good will ever come out of it |

CityNG: Absolutely.cautious googling that might save us all further exchanges most countries have such systems in place even tiny carribean islands require a permit which is usually paid for by the airline when you book your flight so you are not just showing up contrary to what some might believe |
CityNG: Absolutely.we all live and learn good thing he's not learning from experience. |
cautious: It's the other way round. A visa doesn't guarantee you entry and it is the prerogative of the immigration to allow you into the country. He wasn't issued a visa. Except there are no legitimate reasons to be visiting, an American citizen cannot be turned away from a Spanish airport. That is normal procedure (based on agreements between both countries) and not a celebrated case like your friend makes it seem.any citizen can be turned back from any country guess you didn't hear the case of the man turned back from dubai and asked never to return again and some countries despite these agreements require pre approval before traveling which is basically same thing a visa is |
CityNG: Yep.surely having got to moldova you will have a hard time convincing anyone that wasn't your intended destination as the flight would have to be announced, calls for boarding made and even the pilot would have announced before taking off and it would have been on the screens on the plane not to mention the customs and immigration cards given for entry, this isn't even a case of same city names different countries. once you have missed all those cues it makes your story all the more unbelievable that the ticketing agent sold you a wrong ticket. one other thing bothering me is how the lady that asked for his visa at istanbul did not pick up the error because there is no way i can present to board a flight to moldova with a ukrainian visa but these are all things for lawyers to figure out but knowing the average nigerians laid back attitude i doubt this will ever go further than a story that touches the heart |
CityNG: Nothing was clarified, it's all in your head so no thanks needed.allowed entry does not mean you are guaranteed entry and he could also have been refused entry subject on the recommendation of the immigration officer. so he is quite right to say he was granted a visa in to the country |
to be honest i don't know why nigerian parents are eager to ship off their wards to far places in the name of education unaccompanied and unsupervised if they can afford to pay his tuition then they can equally afford to have either the mum or dad go with him considering his age secondly as an educated person why can you not book your own tickets online and only go to pay at their office if necessary in this age of online payment why allow someone else to book you to a wrong destination? Which brings me to my own story when i had a trip to the Caribbean in order to avoid visas and due to the short notice i was convinced by an agent to book a route that needed no visas needless to say by the time i got to my destination after 4 days i knew that i cannot wish my enemy such ordeal so why put myself through it? and it was there i noticed why some people claim to be maltreated by airport staff or immigration officers is that they don't know how to present themselves coherently with sufficient evidence to backup what they are saying bearing in mind that these people have heard all sorts of stories from people attempting to game the system. |
cronsberg: This is the fakest story i have ever read. From begining to the end, the whole story is DEFINATELY fake. For starters, there is nowhere in hell that any authority be it immigration, customs, or airport security, will tear your passport. Even if you are caught red handed smuggling drugs or with explosives, they definately won't rip your passport apart.finally a sane person some of these stories that touch the heart self |
SamSara01: Friday 5th of September will make it exactly 3 months I passed out of service. I'm a 1st class holder and the best graduating student of my department and faculty in a reputable public university in the south-west but I'm currently unemployed. Of course, my cause of worry does not major on being currently unemployed, but majors on how the hope of getting a job soon seems so deem. More worrying is how professionals, lecturers, friends, family and everyone else alike kept and keep singing to my hear how so easy it will be for people like me to secure not just a job but a very good job. As it is, I don't seem better off than someone who spent every single night at a night club while I was burying my head in books during my school days. How do I motivate an aspiring student who thinks what I'm carrying is the gateway to success? If this has been the tale of people like me, then 1st class honour has truly been over-hyped in Nigeria.with writing like this your first class is suspect imagine going for an interview and making blunders like the above bolded look to bridge your deficiencies and package yourself properly and you'll soon get a job or better still use your knowledge to create one for yourself |

how far north will these oil palms grow and if they won't grow in the north what other long term crops can be grown apart from dates? |
CAMNEWTON4PRES: who cares? They are @ the bottom of the social ladder/food chain, they are only deceiving themselves...but that was not my point, i,meant, we aint going To sanction the USA or stop doing biz with them.so African are pretty much useless in this situation.well actually we could but then again our leaders are gutless cowards who wouldn't dare but an embargo on us trade would hit them pretty hard if it was done by all african countries |
CAMNEWTON4PRES: it is not Like we have any Power anyway, even if we do trust me they don't see us as equals to them |
this is what happens when people apply laws stupidly how can you ask a child to give consent? for the mere fact she is still considered a child by the law means she cannot give out consent without parental approval and as for the dead husband serves him right wether 14 or 44 if a woman indicates her displeasure in being with you please let her be or face the consequences |
Nihilist: I don't see African Americans having solidarity with Africans on the continent during our numerous troubles though...abeg tell them they like to shout they are from africa but look down on africans |
xp17: you can downsize the eating of those ,or better eat their close substitutes instead.isn't olive oil vegetable oil also? |
txswat: Personally I don't know why anyone would insist on doing business with him from her on out. If anyone does and they get played then they better not complain on NL. It would help if Seun and the other mods on here would help look into the issues. But I guess the almighty green paper might get in the way of that getting accomplished. His ads and banners are still plastered all over NL. I don't get it!well you know what they say some must fall mugu and as for seun i won't really blame him he is also running a business best he can do is when the current arrangement he has with inspired is done not to renew it as for mods we all know the politics they play but at the same time when doing business due diligence is done by parties involved not hoping someone will bail you out when something goes wrong |
after following a lot of the complaints on inspired i think his problem is threefold 1.like most entrepreneurs he has no idea how to expand his business and delegate tasks to his subordinates the fact that he is still taking orders personally is a sign of this and quite frankly there is no way you can run a good business alone. 2. his success has probably gotten to his head: any sales job is a customer service industry and i doubt he would have made it this far by talking to or treating customers the way he is now so its obvious the changes came after the success and as they say pride cometh before a fall 3. the way preorders are dragging a long time could be an indication of diversion of funds meant for preorders to other things or to clean up already existing messes either that or these cars are coming in and he is selling them for higher amounts to other people while the original owner of the car is kept waiting whatever the reason this is a sign of lack of integrity and honesty. my advice to all those that still insist on doing business with him is that make sure you have an iron clad agreement with lawyers stating what happens if either party defaults, and more importantly keep at the back of your mind that you will never get your car in 21 days 2 months is probably a better estimate |
all this people arguing this sunday prettywow or whatever your name is you keep ranting for other health professionals to be allowed to reach the peak of their career's? have you ever heard of any dr wanting to be a matron? why suddenly do nurses want to bear the title of consultant to my understanding every health professional wether unionized or not should be able to negotiate what they deem is fair compensation for their services but it will be very stupid of one to go to the negotiating table with salary figures of a different profession. Imagine your gateman asking for a pay rise because your househelp makes more than him or vice versa is that not ludicrous. agitate for what you feel is fair compensation but not by comparing apple's and spinach |

lol will they eat me raw? |
a simple solution to all this is that we force all health workers to obtain the same degree MBBS let all of them be dr's so there will be no more conflict |
all these people are not being sincere, i have experienced several family members being hospitalized and have seen the ugly side of all these so called professionals is it the nurses that will not empty urine bags, or that will sit for hours waiting for a dr to come put in an iv line, or is it the dr's that are so arrogant that they don't take the time to explain anything concisely or even berate you for not having money for some expensive therapies. As long as all of the health workers don't realize that they are in a customer service industry and act accordingly the nigerian medical system is in and will remain in trouble. |
