mezzyg: where do i start from? Biafra’s scientific and technological acumen is not a legend: it is fact. Yes, Biafrans made the Ogbunigwe during the war: military and arms innovation would have surely followed. Yes, Biafrans extracted Oil and refined their own Crude during the war: certainly, they would have been able to build, operate and maintain their own refineries after the war. Post-war, in the 1990’s an Igbo / Biafran, Dr. Izuogu, built the first all-made-in-Africa (read: all-made-in-Igbo / Biafra) car: the very same Nigerian forces that had been suppressing this feat all along saw to it that this achievement was totally rubbished. All over the world, the Igbo / Biafrans are making their mark, contributing freely to every aspect of world progress, under the flag and banner of those other countries—that is, every place else on planet Earth but Nigeria.
Igbos are the most Achivers in Africa.
The inventor of the internet, Phillip Emeagwali, Ndi Igbo have:
Produced Nigeria's first president (Zik)
Produced some of Africa's best literature ever (Things Fall Apart) that is world famous

Were the first to provide a firsthand account of the trans-Atlantic slave trade (Equiano)
Produced the first female fianance minister of Nigeria (Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala)

I have asked you to Name 3 technological achievement/innovation atrributable to the Yorubas and you cant name any because there is none. Now you should keep quiet and be happy atleast for being a local champion and cowards enslaved by the blind Northerners. this also goes to all this small pikins here who dont know their history and who thought Biafra lost the war; they only retreated. Ogbunigwe will be a child's play to the next nuclear bombs they are producing. This time around they will clean any region in nigeria from the world map that will wage war against them. You will be a big fool to underrate what biafra can do. let me help you add one more name.Clifford Nwa Orji. First Nigerian cannibal is an Ibo man |

Crime › Man Snatches Friend’s Wife, 5 Children by abacusCm(op): 3:26pm On Jul 23, 2015 |
A 52 year-old man, Gilbert Maduako, has lost his wife, Oluchi and five children after his friend, Akwusi Aluwaogu, who allegedly snatched Oluchi and took away the children claiming that he was their father.
The incident happened at Ugwuakwu Village in Umuchu in Aguate Local Government in Anambra State, southeast Nigeria.
The marriage which produced those children, collapsed after Oluchi and her children moved to Aluwaogu’s home who is an indigene of Akokwa town in Imo State and introduced the man to her children as their real father.
P.M.NEWS learnt that both Maduako and Aluwaogu were good friends for years before he married Oluchi.
Unknown to Maduako, his friend was secretly dating his wife even though he visited them as a family friend. He later got to know when he returned from work and did not find his wife and children.
He started looking for them and later found them at Aluwaogu’s house at his village in Akokwa, Imo State.
The wife reportedly introduced Aluwaogu as her husband and father of those five children.
It was not certain who among the two husbands actually impregnated Oluci and had the children.
P.M.NEWS gathered from the indigeines that the children belong to Maduako because he properly married Oluchi by paying her bride price.
Trouble started after Aluwaogu planned to give the eldest daughter to a husband at a tender age to collect her dowry.
Maduako got wind of the plan and reported to the police at Umuchu Division who intervened.
The police arrested Aluwaogu and took him to the station where he was interrogated and he confessed that he actually wanted to marry off the teenager.
He said since they are living with him and their mother, who actually knew their real father of those children, he had since adopted them as his own children.
On the fate of his friend, Maduako, he said he cannot force Oluchi to marry him and suggested that he should go and get himself another wife and accept his fate.
When our correspondent visited the station, the new DPO was not around to comment on the matter.
P.M.NEWS gathered from police sources that police stopped the marriage on two grounds-to determine the rightful owner of those children and that the girl was too young to get married. |

Politics › NBC, Security Operatives Hunt Radio Biafra Sponsors------punch by abacusCm(op): 6:11pm On Jul 14, 2015 |
The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information, Dr. Sade Yemi-Esan, on Tuesday said the Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation has succeeded in stopping the signal of Radio Biafra because it was not licensed.
Yemi-Esan disclosed this to State House correspondents shortly after briefing President Muhammadu Buhari of her ministry’s activities inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
She said the commission was currently working with security agencies to apprehend those behind the illegal radio.
She said, “We also gave a report on Radio Biafra. Right now, the signals from the radio have been jammed successfully by the NBC.
“The commission is also working with security agencies to get those that are behind that radio because it is an illegal radio. It is not licensed by anybody to be on the airwaves in Nigeria.”
She added that the President had directed her ministry to put machinery in place to end the scourge of piracy in the nation’s movie industry.
She said the President gave a clear directive that the ministry must work hard to ensure that film producers get what is due to them.
“The President raised concerns about piracy in Nollywood and he has instructed us to work harder to ensure that the producers of Nollywood films get what is due to them and that we reduce piracy to the barest minimum,” she said.
She added that the President frowned at some media houses that are in the habit of owing salaries.
She said Buhari saw the development as not too good for the country.
She said, “I think it was last week that one of the newspapers was shut down because of non-payment of salaries.
“I think that should not be heard of in a country like Nigeria.
“Mr. President frowns on things like that, the welfare of every Nigerian, especially journalists is one of the major concerns that we have.”
The Permanent Secretary said the President wanted the ministry to intensify publicity because of his desire that every Nigerian should know about policies and programmes of his government.
She said they also talked about external publicity and the possibility of re-opening the federal information services abroad. |

Crime › Man Bags One Month In Prison For Stealing Meats-punch by abacusCm(op): 1:15pm On Jul 06, 2015 |
An Ota Magistrates’ Court on Monday sentenced a 28-year-old man to one month in prison for breaking into a shop to steal seven pieces of meats from a pot.
The Magistrate, Miss Temitope Adebutu, however, gave the convict an option of N5,000 fine.
The accused, of no fixed address, was arraigned on a two count of stealing and burglary.
Prosecutor Rosemary Brown told the court that the accused committed the offence on June 25 at about 6am at Ire-Akari Street, Ota in Ogun State.
She said that the accused broke into the shop of the complainant, Akinola Olamilekan, to steal seven pieces of meats from a pot valued at N700.
Brown said that the offences contravened Section 390 (9) of the Criminal Code Revised Laws of Ogun, 2006. |
