QUOTE FROM DEDE1 TODAY.
It is very unfortunate that Nigeria has grown into stupidity with knack to demonstrate infinitely. I could not believe reading odious and impetuous analogy of Biafra and Germany from the ongoing discourse. People tend to gravitate to all time low trying to absolve themselves or their forbearers from delusional acts by indulging in arrant prevarication.

Biafra never enjoyed a minute of peaceful existence as a sovereign nation and yet someone audaciously decided to generate loathsome comparison that pitched Biafra against Germany that had risen to the apex of imperial power.

The discussions should center on the issue Chief Joe Achuzie raised in his alleged interview that Biafra was not actually defeated.
Dede1 is surely up there with Patrick and Kosovo and to some extent Jakumo.

@Zebra: I have always said that you lack comprehension. Show me where any of the posters have claimed that the entire Rivers is Igbo. Why not accept your imbecility and ask for help here.
Once again, your write ups is not insightful for you to be here. Just go and play with your fellow kids, you beast of no specific gender.

This Zebra of a girl must be the biggest fool on political section. She does not know the Igbo groups in Nigeria. She is not an Igboman and knows nothing about Igbo culture. The young man is making a mockery of himself here.
The worst is that he fails to comprehend what authorities in Igbo culture have written here. Perhaps, he is partially sighted that he can not read what intelligent people have written.
Zebra, just quit contributing here because you are a laughing stock here.
PoliticsRe: Which Geo-political Zone Can Take Nigeria To Her Promise Land? by abadaba(m): 2:53am On Mar 07, 2010
We should lease Nigeria to the United Kingdom for ten years. Mind you, it is not colonialism nor neo-colonialism. Just a ten year lease.

@jumobi1
I am afraid i can not espouse to your school of thought neither can i hypothecate to your Ideology.

To say that Nigeria should divide at the Point of her diminutive Democracy is ostensibly not in the Right Direction. Division can not and will Never solve the Problems of this Nation, what should be our envision is how to tackle the teensy-weensy conundrum associated with tribalism, ethnocentrism, fondness, religious demagogy and political chauvinism.

If we Can achieve that, i see no reason why many Nigerians won't be able to bring home the becon.

It would be tragicomical, atrocious and flagitious if we Let this Nation disintegrate. Disaster would be an understatement. We must fulfill and effectuate the Dreams of our founding Fathers. Their efforts must not be wasted.
From all indications, from all calculations, I can triumphantly conclude that Mr KOSOVO is the same Patrick ,the honourable at N/A.

Nairalanders, this sunday shall be a fasting day for Yorubaland. Every Nairalander should fast from 6AM--6PM. Yorubaland and people shall be cleansed. This is the only solution.

Good selection, surely, Nairaland will win. Dede1 may come in as a substitute if one of them gets tired.
But for sure, the team is capable of taking all comers.
PoliticsRe: Yar'adua Will Return by abadaba(m): 1:13am On Feb 17, 2010
When he returns, power should be handed to him on a platter. Nigerians are very impatient. We are not different from the Israelites who became so impatient when they did not see Moses and made a golden calf.
CultureRe: History Of Ika People(umunede) by abadaba(m): 1:04am On Feb 17, 2010
OP, your idea of trying to deny the Ika people of their Igboness has backfired. Well-meaning Ika sons e.g Jim Ovia have been busy receiving Ikenga and other Igbo awards, you are in nairaland yawning crap. Get over it boy.

Some people perish for lack of knowledge. You can be Ika and Igbo the same time. Just as one can be Nsukka and Igbo or Egba and Yoruba.
PoliticsRe: Civil war not against Ndigbo — Gowon by abadaba(m): 1:01am On Feb 14, 2010
Awolowo did not only offend Ndigbo, but God and spirits. Was it not in Lagos some years back that a mad man went and burnt up Awo's statute. What does that prove to you?.
IslamRe: I Want To Convert Probably To Islam by abadaba(m): 12:46am On Feb 14, 2010
@poster, you are free to join the mohammedans, but before that, prepare your will, dig up your personal grave and beautify it. goodluck.
CultureRe: Where Are The Igbos, Hausas And Other Non-Yorubas? by abadaba(m): 12:34am On Feb 14, 2010
As at the time this thread was created, there were not many Ndigbo on nairaland. At the moment, Ndigbo constitute 35 percent of nairaland. The Yorubas are about 35 percent as well.
It is a pity that the poster will put Igbo, Kwale and Ikwerre as different ethnic groups in his post without putting Ekiti, Ijebu and Yoruba as different ethnic groups.
Iam pretty sure that by now the poster would have known that it is IGBO and not Ibo.

PoliticsRe: OBJ May Die In Prison —prophet by abadaba(m): 1:21am On Feb 10, 2010
It is not a bad idea at all if a prophet foretells your death. As for OBJ, the prophet has done good than harm to him. For example, OBJ can now write/rewrite his will. Properly plan for his burial ceremony. Set up a burial committe, dig his grave, paint it, decorate it and if possible fix electricity, air-condition etc.
If people know when they will die, that will be fabulous.

Ooni huh huh huh
The Ooni who betrayed Oladipo Diya during the Abacha regime. His own son whom he is suppose to protect. Nevertherless, the Alafin has been the father of the Yorubas and continues to remain so. The Ooni though a rich man, is like a chief priest of thev Yoruba people.
PoliticsRe: Yar’adua: Alaafin Of Oyo Explains Yoruba Monarchs’ Silence by abadaba(m): 1:33am On Feb 06, 2010
Back to the topic. The Alafin is the most powerful and most influential paramount ruler in the south west. There is no other person to convey this message rather than the great monarch. His remarks counts in Nigeria.
