Good Day House, Please I need very honest and mature responses. If you don't have a reasonable response to give, I'd rather you just keep mute and allow those who have something reasonable and worthwhile to say to do so.
My younger brother is in Poland 1st year Msc but is now desirous of moving over to Germany, He has applied to some schools and is expecting their responses.
1. Is anyone familiar with or has made such a move before?
2. We are confused when he does get the admission, is he supposed to go to the German Embassy in Poland or go to the Foreigner's office in the city he intends going to validate his residency (His 1yr Student Polish Visa is still valid).
3. Pls do we have anyone here studying in any of the schools in Bremen?
Thanks for your sensible responses NairaLanders |

depends on how the question in the email was crafted. If you asked about sponsor they will also respond about sponsor. like wise if it was specifiaclly stating self sponsor, they will answer in like manner too. so don't limit your self with fears. Shamelz420: But the embassy said if u have a sponsor, the credit card should be under his name via the mail I got from them...I no no sha |

Brov, some of this questions are best answered by the school themselves to avoid the place of hearsay amnd assumptions. email their admissions team, or the international student relations office for better clarification Samd25: Please can I use my secondary school testimonial in place of transcript? Terry026, it is better to cautious and follow the rules as stated. On the web page, did you see " Notarised Letter of Sponsorship" or "High Court Sworn Affidavit of Sponsorship"? What do I know? I'm just calling you to order based on doing what is prescribed that doing what you feel is right. terry026: Thanks, its some "over sabi" suggestions that was confusing me that I have to notarize payslips, employment letter and promotion letter from sponsor's. In my case, I have affidavit of sponsorship from high court, instead of letter of sponsorship.. |

1. NO offence but you already know how it workas with a schengen visa and that it also applies to a National Visa which enables you multiple exits and entry. The visa guarantees your movement not the permit. The permit legitimizes your stay and essence in the country of residence. So yes you can go and see your babes provided you first port of entry is with the visa is Poland. 2. you have to search for social media pagesof the school to et to meet people and foreigners studying there. so they can provide you with the needed info as you may likely not get it here. Freemason1: Hi everyone,
I am new here and just created this account so I can get some vital information about relocating to Poland.
First, I’m very much aware that Poland is in the EU and the Schengen area but I do not know if one’s initial visa permits them to travel within the EU before they get their residence permit. My baby’s mother is in France and I wanted to visit them briefly while I continue schooling in Poland and waiting for my residence to come out.
Second, for people who are studying at the University of Wroclaw, how long did it take to get your residence permit. These are very important to me because I need access to see my wife and daughter as often as possible. I am currently in Turkey and would be doing all my applications from here. I’d appreciate your help. Thanks everyone.

From very recent experience, it is no longer accepted (Bank statement i mean), also for financial prove, you are expected to turn in ORIGINAL cpoies of any of the following docs below 1. Credit Card Limit Certificate in your name........ Or 2. Credit Card Limit in your sponsor's name.......... Or 3. Sponsor's Employment Letter, Letter of Sponsorship (duly notarised) and most recent 3 months payslips. * Hardefillar1: Hi guys I’m just seeing credit card certificate alone here these days...
Is bank statement no longer acceptable as proof of funds for visa application?
Thanks. |

kid7soccer: thank you for this information.
But e go shock you when you enter a health center and see them issuing the same birth certificate from npc. Na 9ja we dey. You may not be wrong too. If they do issue same at the Hospital it's all good. But then if you want it without having recourse to running Helter skelter for validation or whether you got the right thing or wrong one it better to be safe than sorry... The same effort it takes to go to the Hospital to get it would amount for the same to be used in locating and going to NPC office... Anyone suitable is good Sha! |

kid7soccer: only mof need you birth certificate.
Just Work into any health center and get a new birth certificate Hello Kid7, this information is not entirely true. The only form of birth certificate accepted as authentic must be that issued @ the National Population Commission (NPC) office. I'll advice you let them know this, to obtain this, all you need do is get a sworn affidavit of age declaration deposed by one of your parent or relative. By this I mean it would be sworn on your behalf by these persons. So when going to the High Court preferably, go with your passport Photograph and that of whoever will attest for you. With that affidavit go to any NPC office around you and you have a solid birth certificate recognised anywhere. |

courageonyekwel: They can't legalise student copy, only original I don't think you can bring your own scratch card, you'll have to buy from them I was told MFA isnt open, I've sent an email to them to know but they haven't responded If you want everything to go smooth and well for you, just go with all your original certs, make 3 photocopies if each set of the certs. MOE won't stress you much the process is pretty simple and straight. as for MOFA forget about the mail you did, they may respond to you in the next five years. So get to their gate and the security guys there will surely link you up. at most you'll pay 1K per document depending on the number of docs you tender. |

The people are friendly, at least you’re not worried about racism, feeding isn’t too expensive, only expensive thing here is rent. You can stay in school dorm if you need an affordable accommodation. Transportation you can pay for the bus/tram per ride or get a card which you’ll use for the year.
There are jobs, you can either work in factories or IT firms. They need people that speak English, French, German etc.

sunmike065: I could remembered the last time they came to arrest me in 2013 simply because a friend mine bought a stolen blackberry from a guy that as once live in my compound b4 but later moved to ikorodu area in lagos, when they arrested the guy and asked him to provide the guy that he bought the phone from after intimidating and treat to his life out of fear he told them that he doesnt know where the guy moved to because he had relocated from his previous house. but he as a friend who knows his shop which is ME,
suddenly the guy brought SARS to my home with his hand curved already,
the SARS guy explain their reason for coming to my house and I asked him if the guy said I was d one who sold the phone to him he said No but he claimed that I knew the guy shop after then he flashed me Gun and said if I do anyhow I go see anyhow, immediately I calmed as I no wan die..lol
he search my room found nothing but my money which he pocketed and he also saw two laptops he drop one and told me plainly that I should keep one and his taking d second along with him for his personal used, then hand curved me with the guy and took us away to their office at SARS Ikeja,
after then they asked me to call the guy to confirm where he was which I did and the guy said is in his shop in Oshodi, after two hours they took me to Oshodi we met the guy in his shop and the SARS guy explain to him what transpired, that was where we learnt that d guy also bought it from one of his customer too because he sells cloths.
our initial agreement was that I will be released unconditionally immediately I lead them to arrest the guy my people only to realised I spent three days in their Cell with surplus begging b4 they could grant my bail with 30k including the money the SARS guy packed from my houz and my laptop.
Abeg, help me to identify the real thief btwn Me, the Guy that bought stolen phone or a Police official that came to my house to take away money and my laptop without returning it back to me?
After I came out thinking of my experienced, as'n I mean is it a crime again for providing security agent a useful information? come to think of the way they wasted life's, treated people like animals by putting almost 50 people in just a single cell and many things like that it almost affect me Mentally.
since then I gave up on this country and divert my plan to leaving the country which I finally achieved.
you wont know how important you are been a human being until u leave Naija, those who have been outside b4 will understand what I mean.

Phlegmwash: I never realized this got media attention, thanks for sharing. I spent time in one of the gulf countries couldn't help but pity the laborers and the janitors. One (nepalese) told me he hasn't seen his wife and kids for years. I was overjoyed that Nigerians like myself were mostly taken up respectable jobs, and I did try to discourage Nigerians without a bachelor's degree to come to gulf countries because of the shitty work conditions. If you received an employment offer not based on at least bachelor's degree, stay away from gulf countries. Slavery is very much alive in the Gulf countries like UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait because of the visa sponsorship system that operates in these countries. @Phlegmwash, can we have a closed door session Sir?
