Dealers imports based on demand, if people swing their pendulum toward other brands dealers will surely follow suit.
In the 70s to early 90s Benz, VW and Peugeot were the best sellers because our cars were coming in from Europe until mid 90s when started importing from the US/Canada based on the fact cars were cheaper in North America which offers better ROI to the dealers.
People need to start buying cars not just because of reliability or second hand value but because they want to enjoy comfort and luxury to the fullest.
Range Rover and G-wagon are certainly not the easiest of cars to maintain but importers are importing them based on the simple that people demands it, people should change their perception about Toyota cars being reliable and cheap to maintain because they are not and the number of recalls Toyota record annually prove that.

Don't worry, very soon Peugeot will start making cows lol.

I don't think it is a fallacy. Toyota sienna is mini van and not in any way tuned for sports even though it has a v6 engine. A golf 4 with 1.8L will outrun it on a track trust me. E be like say this ur Toyota sienna dey too shack u, abi na that v6 engine dey deceive u.

A 2008 Honda civic with 1.8L engine and 140hp has 0-60 of 7.7 seconds against 1999 sienna which has over 9 seconds to get to 60.

The civic has a top speed of 220+km/hr but ur sienna will not go faster than 180km/hr.

The civic has a lower center of gravity and lighter against ur Sienna's high ground.

You can see bro there's no way ur sienna will beat the civic in a race. I remember when u were thinking that sienna will beat an i4 EOD lol. I really laugh. Next time when u see a civic outrun u, don't just try chasing it as u might end up crashing ur car.

Can a car dealer sell a car below his cost price? Go online see how much a tiny light costs, add shipping, clearing and interest. It is more than people overyhyping it bro, yes the car is bland, boring and soulless, but it is not cheap even in the US where most of them are imported from.

Because its main job is to cool the engine, not to cool the radiator. As a matter of fact the radiator is meant to cool the hot coolant that comes out of the engine when the thermostat opens while cooled coolant from the radiator goes into the engine to cool the engine.

Toyota doesn't only sell in Nigeria, they also sell very well in north America even though north Americans have their indigenous car manufacturers. Other than the reasons the op mentioned, below are also some of the reason.

1. Most cars in Nigeria are imported from north America, Toyota products sell very well in north America so it is very normal that dealers import more of Toyota than any other brands.

2. We do not have a solid indigenous car manufacturer so we need to source from abroad. The USA is still the biggest auto market in the world and since they love Toyota, it is normal dealers import more of Toyota.

Are u for real? How is this the world's fastest car when the Bugatti veyron goes from 0-62 mph in 2.4 seconds and top speed of 268mph. Even koenigsegg agera s is faster than this.

Well cuv are a bred between wagon, sedan and suv mixed together proportionately(chemistry niyen) the only accord I know has wagon is the european version, I have never seen the wagon or heard of north american accord wagon.

You must also note that a wagon is a type of sallon/sedan car. But look at the size and possibly targeteed competitors.

I clearly understand u bro. The thing is the way cars are built these days, it becomes difficult to put them in a particular class. If u think the crosstour is a cuv, then u must also call a Porsche panamera a cuv because they are basically the same shape and size. Some people regard the panamera as a full size luxury SUV which could be true going by its wight and gadgets, but going by its looks some call it a wagon or cuv. Some even call it a sedan even though it has 5 doors. For me it is a Porsche 911 wagon

U don't have to be a politician to own this car. Trust me it is not as expensive as it looks, a range rover autobiography is more expensive. Even a Mercedes Benz e63 amg is more expensive. At 295hp it is powerful, but there are lots of street cars that are more powerful. No doubt s great car though.

Obviously you are not resident in Nigeria and I'm pretty sure that your 3 weeks driving wasn't a regular one. It's also likely that you drove to a particular destination throughout the 3 weeks. If you drive in Nigeria for 1 year I bet you that you won't even realise when you will start hooting your horn because I am sure you won't want to have a corpse on your neck or maybe become a corpse to. Leave the aspect of gate man and face the driving on the road we are talking about because I don't even horn when entering my house. 3 weeks is not enough for you, come and drive for a year and more and you will understand. I used to be against the use of a horn when driving but when my car became bashed severally because I felt the other driver was also thinking clearly and another series of happenings I changed unconsciously but yet I use it with decorum and not as a toy as you thought.

I been driving for 3 years in Nigeria now and I don't honk unnecessarily. Believe me u can do it if u really want to. Within the city I rarely use my horn unless when necessary, on the highway, I can travel from Lagos to Benin and back without using my horn even once. But then for u, someone that blows his horn whenever he overtakes on the highway, I can imagine how much u honk while driving in the city then, choi, that horn go don suffer. An educated fellow like u should be creating awareness for the less learned, not doing what they do just because u think the country is failed.

But curently I drive in an environment where people can be so selfish on the road, in an environment were nearly all the drivers behave like a mad person. So it is not bad if I check your sanity before overtaking you. And mind you that doesn't mean I hoot my horn every now and then.

I was actually expecting this kind of answer. So when u go to another man's country u keep their law and do the right thing, but when in ur own country u do the wrong thing. U ARE ONE OF THE PROBLEMS OF THIS COUNTRY. Tomorrow u will blame GEJ if an accident happens, or blame the bad roads. Then u will compare Nigeria with USA or UK, trying to use USA as a standard. How can we ever be like them when our citizens know the right thin but will keep doing the wrong thing? A sane person will never blow his horn every time he overtakes in those countries and it is one of the reasons their highways are safer than here.

Why would blowing of a horn make you loose control? A driver must be ultra alert and not jittery. I can blow my horn in a way that it will be like a nuisance and as well as the other way round. If blowing of a horn can make a driver lose control then any sudden noise can make a driver lose control if that is the case, that person is not a driver. A good driver must not suddenly develop a fear but rather be aware of his/her surrounding within a jiffy and keep safe.

Try blowing ur horn every time u overtake in the US or Europe or even some parts of asia and see if u won't get pulled over. If everybody on the highway blows their horns like that do u think the highway would be conducive to drive?

There is no point blowing ur horn before overtaking. It can be annoying to other road users and can even cause the person u are trying to overtake to lose control. It can be used when necessary especially when the person in front of u is not maintaining his lane, but doing it unnecessarily is not right.

You said dual and not how many lanes. If you had mentioned the number of lanes, I wouldn't have asked. Yes, it is perfectly okay to overtake from the right on highways with three or more lanes and where it is permitted.

I said dual carriage highway, I didn't mention the number of lanes. A dual carriage highway has a minimum of 2 lanes.

Dude ur the one who needs to get his drivers license checked. It is perfectly normal to overtake on the right side of a dual carriage highway. If I'm driving on a 5 lane highway and the speed limit says 100km/hr and I'm on the left side doing 100 and then someone coming behind me is doing 140, u expect me switch to the right for him? He has to overtake from the right since he has 4 more lanes to himself.

Many drivers know this but here is the problem you find these people who run driving schools teaching people to drive on the left lane! I mean a learner with his L sign on the left lane? And after acquiring his license he continues to drive SLOWLY on the left lane! It is one of the most frustrating things to behold on the road and when you give them a sign to move over they think you are stupid. I am sure the driver in this unfortunate accident has had his fair share of the frustrating attempt to overtake on the left and wanted to go right.

Overtaking on the right side on a dual carriage highway is legal. A slow driving vehicle should keep right though.

If u know android very well, then u will know galaxy s5 is not even among the smoothest android phones. Galaxy s5 packs so much features it affects the software. HTC one m7 and m8, Sony xperia z2 and z3, lg g3, Motorola droid turbo, even one plus one will give u a smoother android experience than galaxy s5. Its just lots of Nigerians think the s5 is the king of android when it is not even close. Samsung spends so much money on advertisement they forgot to improve their phone.
