Veneno is only expensive cos its a limited production. Puttin the two cars to a race is like puttin knife and gun to fight.

Bro I was in ur situation b4 Ladipo professors came to my rescue. What is wrong with your car is aa faulty AC compressor. I drive a camry 2007 SE. It has an automatic compressor which get faulty easily. It has an O2 sensor. I simply changed mine to a manual compressor and it blows ice cold! I cleaned out my condenser too. Itss fab. At a point I was scared. I bought the replica auto compressor and can u believe it spoilt aafter 10mins? So I decided to buy manual. Pls buy manual. It cost me 35k. Everytin sha I spent 45k. I am so happy with my muscle. The car only vibrates slightly when the compressor picks dats all. Now my babes are happy cos even though the lagos sun dey hammer, my interior is as cool as a freezer! Bawse!!

My though was more towards the fact that if you are spending $12k on either car the possibility of replacing a $300 part compared to it being $100 on the Toyota should not be a logical reason of passing on the Lexus.

The big picture is some who know what they are buying have factored in all probable issues while those who don't just look at the face value and that is what used car dealers depend on for real profit in Nigeria

Now here is how it all work for car manufacturers, they all have parts bin and corporate drivetrains every car is built around this parts to save money; basically they all share parts.
The engine EW10,EW12, and ES9 can be found across the PSA model line, so the engine transmission and everything on that car is not exclusive to 607 90% is possibly be used on 407 except for a few trim and body parts.

How can there be mechanics capable of fixing 407 but not 607 or how can the drivetrain of the 407 be good but 607 bad? They are both the same and these parts are shared across the group including Citroen

if u had a gear problem wit a manual there is no way the whole 5/6 gears will be condemned, at least u will av one or two among or even the reverse that will take u somewhere safe or the the engineering work shop for fixing, but in the other way, auto cannot, once the gear had problem not even the reverse will function cos it is electrically programmed.

I really do not like Auto cause the feel of not being incharge is not there. ANY day any time MANUAL rocks.
I still wonder why most racing cars are built to use MANUAL transmission.
