This is where ur lack of knowledge comes but I don't blame u. A lot of people think every v8 powered cars is faster than every v6. That's so wrong. I will stick to the Lexus gx470 for this comparison. What u don't know is that the weight of a car plus aerodynamics determine how fast they will be. 2009 Lexus gx470 is boxy and weighs over 1 tonne more than a 2009 Honda acdord V6. Bro that V6 is faster, just that it will do so at a higher rpm than the Lexus. Why do u think power bikes with smaller engines are faster than a lot of V6 cars with bigger engines? Because of their light weight.

U still think the V8 Lexus is faster than the V6 accord? Guy no be ever V8 fast past even some 4 plugs sef. The weight and aerodynamics plays a lot here. U also have 4o consider the fact that most SUVs are not built for for cornering at high speed. If u check the sun visor of many SUVs u will see the warning like the picture below.

The reason people attacked u was because of the way u put the blame on the Corolla as if it was the Corolla that caused the tire to blow out. A lot of things can cause a tire to blow out at high speed. Over inflated tire will blow out at high speed, u really need to get one of those portable tire guages, these useless road side vilcanizers are murderers, one of them once put 60psi on my tire when I was about going on a long journey. That's a tire that was supposed to be inflated to 32 at cold, he put 60, I had to double check and deflated it myself to the recommended pressure.

Another thing that can cause tire blow out is work our tire, bad roads, etc. One of these is the culprits, not the Corolla.

I clearly said only a few select ones. U can't put a Lexus GX470 on the road and think it would outrun a Honda accord. v6 just because the Lexus is V8. That Lexus weighs a lot and its awkwardly tall, not good for aerodynamics and definitely not good for speed.

Do you know alot of SUVs are actually faster than some sport cars? If that is the case, what do they have in mind when they are making them.

A quick check on it before you make that statement would have been proper.

Only select SUV's are made for speed. Most of them are not. They are just cruisers or to carry families, while some are just luxurious. Because of their height and higher ground clearance most of them are unsafe at taking corners at high speed.

This is what many people don't know. They think Suv's are for speeds. SUV's generally have higher chances of rolling over when u lose control, this is why they are not meant for speed. Only a few select ones.

A Toyota corolla sport will comfortably do 160km/hr, albeit at higher rpm but the car will do it comfortably. OP's car just had a worn out tire. I won't advice anyone to do beyond 120-130 on any Nigerian highway though.

The problem is not the poor corolla, the problem is the tire. If u use this same expired tire on a Mercedes Benz E class this same thing would still have happened and might even become worse for u, because with more power comes more responsibilities, with the benz u would be tempted to go faster and tire busting at higher speed means higher risk.

Bros so far u have 1 honda key that can start the car, then u can clone as many keys as u like and all of them will start. Keyword here is u must have at least 1 key that can start the car handy. That is the key u will need to clone the rest. I've been using Honda/Acura since 2010 and I always have 2 keys that start the cars.

some trackers are #25k,even #20k tracker is available especially for Toyota cars ,I have used a 2000 Honda babyboy,2005 Acura RL and a 2007 Honda Accord,what this Hondas have in common is the key security, without the special coded key that syncs with the ECU you can never start the car,you can use the spare key to open doors,boot or even crank the engine but it will not start,if I park my Honda and put the keys in my pocket you can only use towing van to steal the car.

The spare key u have was only cut to open the doors and can also put the car in accessory mode, but doesn't have a chip that could be programmed to start the car. That doesn't mean u can't program a spare key that will start the car. Toyota on the other hand are notorious for making cars without transponders, u just cut the key and the car will start without need to program. The 1998-2001 camry is notorious for this while a Honda have been using transponder keys since 1998. In fact some 2003 camry still don't have transponder. They made is standard from 2005 models I think.

This is the real account of what happened from a first hand situation report.


A military personnel bought engine from one of the dealers and he tried returning it because according to him, it was defective, here is where the problem started, the dealer refused to change it because doing so will make the transaction turn to a loss on his part after accounting for the commission paid to baranda boys (middleman/market touts).

The Soldier told the dealer that the commission paid to any middleman is none of his concern and an argument which turned physical ensued. The dealers ganged up on him and assaulted him. The soldier went back to his base, returned with reinforcement and the rest is history.






Something has to be done about the unscrupulous business practices in that particular market no excusing the high handedness of the military in this issue.

I once bought an engine at ladipo way back in 2012. My mechanic didn't check the engine very well, he just checked the outside and we bought it. On getting to his shop, after taking out the spark plug he realized the inside of the engine was so bad, he opened the cylinder and lo and behold, the engine looked like something that was rotten. We didn't even bother mouting it. Next day we took it back and the seller delayed us for several hours. We showed him the evidence to look at the inside of the engine he sold to us but he refused to refund us. We reported to their task force and those ones too wasted our time. Later in the day he took us to a warehouse where they sell direct tokunbo engines that have not been tampered with in the end I got another engine but not without paying extra N60, 000. That engine he sold to me will still be sold to another person and that one too will come to return it and the cycle will continue.

Although some dealers are honest and more considerate. I remember buying a gearbox frok one young dealer, we mounted it and the gearbox didn't work well. I called him and the next day he sent a bike to bring another gearbox worhiut paying a dime. Only paid the bike man transportation fees.

You say what? Did u see what happened during blacklivesmatter protest? Search youtube u will see many videos of Americans looting different shops. Some even looted a car shop. lots of clothing scores. jewelry, etc were looted. Come and see how people were looting shoes . One guys watched from his home from his cctv how his entire shop was emptied and there was nothing he could do.. and that was in America. Now compare what will happen if it was in Africa.

The reality is just pray there is no breakdown of law and order because once there is then the security agencies can't do anything at least for the first 24 hours or so. This is applicable to any country. Once there are many crimes going on at different places at the same time especially as a result of a protest then the security of that nation will be frozen at least for some time before they could bring back law and order. This is why they have strict laws in some countries like China.

My brother that GOAT � debate can finally be put to rest jare. Haba, the only thing Ronaldo fans always go back to is that Messi has never won a major trophy for Argentina. I hv seen vehicles raised to 2*1000rpm at idle, so dt whn u put on ur AC it wud settle at 1*1000rpm or less. We r tryin 2 solve a problem nd nt arguing. Thanks!

Adjusting the rpm manually does not solve any problems. RPM of modern cars are controlled by the ECU and should not be manually adjusted. Even if u adjust this rpm to 2,000 it still won't stop the vibration when Ac is turned on provide he has changed to manual compressor
