LabStores:Lol. U think it's easy to aim at the tyres of a moving vehicle? Don't let what u see in movies fool u. There was absolutely no reason to discharge any firearm in this situation. If they can't safely chase the car then they should let go. Shooting puts everyone at risk, including bystanders. |
Uplig:Buhari should sue him for 1 trillion naira for saying he is dead and replaced by jubril of Sudan |
Bendeco02:Nigerians are generally impatient, not only when free things are being shared. In traffic, when one lane is moving slow and the other lane is free, u will see one impatient driver drive against traffic and follow one way, and then another will follow and before u know it both lanes will get blocked because upcoming vehicles have been blocked. And then nobody will be able to move. The only language Nigerians understand is force. When they see army they will behave. |
abatically:And this is Airtel. Not as stable as MTN but when on 5g the speed is above average for a cellular network. That's when they are in the mood though.
|
YeyeGbami:Maybe it's ur area. In my area MTN 5g is nothing short of reliable and blazingly fast. I'm so used to it that using any other network feels like snail to me even though they appear fast to other people.

How many Nigerians are in India that 1.3 million will be in prison. Believe that number at ur own peril. |
Jman06:Him walking for free is likely impossible, well maybe possible since he has already been behind bars for 7 yrs |
AntiZikist:According to vdm, who visited him in prison, the case is more complex. Vdm said he told him after they caught the robbers, the prosecuting lawyer came to meet him in prison and told him they only way they could help him was if he denied ever knowing the robbers in front of the judge which he agreed to do. So when they got to court they asked him 'do you know these guys' and he said he didn't know them. That's allegedly by the way. If this is true then he has really implicated himself. But death sentence? That is harsh since there was no report of anyone dying from the robbery. |
BafanaBafana:Well, there's a total energies fuel station under a 3 stories building in toyin street ikeja. Just saying. |
blacknp:Not even 20 hrs, in my area it's guaranteed 24hrs/day for at least 4 days a week. The remaining 3 days maybe 20-22 hrs a day. But we pay through our noses Sha for that service. |
INTEGRITYA1:Because government have been secretly paying subsidy on imported fuel. Why do u think independent marketers stopped importing fuel? Because the landing cost of petrol is higher than what it's being sold in the market. Nobody would run business at a cost. https://www.google.com/amp/s/thenationonlineng.net/why-we-stopped-importation-of-petrol-by-marketers/amp/ |
Salewa97:FG still pays subsidy for imported fuel. We said it when they first announced that subsidy is gone and was selling for N560 naira. There's no way fuel will sell for that amount without subsidy. When the thing shook them they increased it to like N855, still not up to the landing cost (if imported) so there's still some subsidy. If FG should completely remove subsidy then imported fuel will be more expensive. If they should pay subsidy on dangote's fuel then it will be cheaper. |
It is high time they have a special name for Christianity and churches in Africa. Like wtf is this? Comedy central? |
Lanruze:Lol, this is exactly what FG wants and u are falling for their trap. They want dangote to take the fall. Do u think it's a coincidence that nnpc decided to increase the price the same day dangote announced that they have started petrol production. Do u think it's a coincidence that nnpc admitted they owed over $5 billion around the same time and can no longer sell at 568 naira? In the end, dangote refinery will probably gets shut down. FG will go back to importing from Malta (which they own) and secretly start paying subsidy again. Since they have been paying subsidy before, why can't they continue to pay on dangote fuel? Oh yeah, I know why. It won't benefit them. |
Cmanforall:Exactly. They had to wait until dangote started selling before they admitted they owed over $5 billion in subsidy lol. Now they decided to remove that sibsidy and raise the price, just to make it look like it's dabgote's fault lol. Why not continue to pay the subsidy on dangote fuel. |
004gist:I think the FG are still trying to sabotage dangote petroleum. The FG has been secretly paying subsidy on imported fuel for over a year now and that is why the price is set at 568 naira at nnpc and around 618-620 at other major marketers. (In Lagos at least). The moment dangote was about selling his own petrol, nnpc cried out that they are owing over $5 billion to suppliers and can no longer sustain selling at low rate. Increased the price to around 855-900 naira (in Lagos). Now they are saying they would let dangote set the price lol. Very funny. Isn't it obvious they are tying to make dangote the victim here. Why is it now that they decided to remove the subsidy (not even totally). Dangote cannot sell below 800 since the landing cost of imported is around 1,200. Now to the common man it would look like it's dangote that made the price of petrol high. Nice one FG, trying to push the blame to dangote. |
Bookhub:And how would Putin come and save Nigeria. Why would Russia interfere, I want to understand. |
Using children for protest? That's absurd |
Crash prices based on what? What has the govt done to cushion the effect of their policies. So businessmen should run business at a loss because people are hungry lol. After paying outrageous electricity bills for band A Buying fuel at outrageous prices High prices of raw materials and transportation They should come and crash the price of their products because people are hungry lol. Govt should make the first step. Then the rest will follow |
lamppy:Even the govt cannot give us anything at a fair price. I used to buy 14 units of electricity for 1k. Now that 1k can only get me 4.9 units. That's x3 of what I used to pay, just imagine if it was managed by a foreign company. |
kingsways:Lolz well written. But I do not expect a lot of people to understand this. Dstv is not govt owned, even electricity bill for band A has tripped. People will be shouting dstv should leave lol, let them chase them away and let's see which Nigerian company will take over and do a better job at cheaper fairs. Glo is a very good example. Hitv with all their noises couldn't sustain even though they had poor picture qualities. If u want something premium, u have to pay. U can afford u can downgrade or pick another provider. |
DaddyCoool:Very quick to attack, typical nairaland trademark. Nobody is saying they shouldn't make a signpost, but at least get the figures right and don't be a laughing stock. So a random person can post anything and without checking u all just jump on it. Accomodation allowance and recess allowance says 20% of basic salary but both figures are different. One is 621k+, the other is 240k+. Neither of them is correct. Isn't this obvious someone just put random numbers there. This is definitely not a typo |
DaddyCoool:Make a huge signboard of something that is not even correct? Accomodation allowance says 30% of basic salary. Tell me how 30% of 2.5 million is almost 5 million. Most of the figures there are not correct. |
gift2xl:This is not even a Christian thread per say. A lot of the people calling this fake are Christians. And tbf i think it's fake. The problem is Christians are not even in unity. Too many denominations, too many fake pastors. A Christian will tell u they trust so so denomination and call another one fake. This is something u can hardly see in a Muslim thread where almost everyone is in unison |
CartelKenneth:40mbps na joke. Mtn on peak period dey get up to 900mbps. I am currently getting 450mbps and it's not even their peak.
|
APCNig:The difference is, tribal marks are given to children without them being given a choice, and they grow up not liking the marks but nothing can be done about it. Teenagers on there other hand get tattoos by themselves because they want to, nobody is forcing them. |
Randerl:Production will eventually kick off someday won't it? A lot of money was invested in that company to be joking around. Whether it's this month, next month or mid 2024, someday it will kick off and I believe dangote himself is doing everything to start operation as soon as possible. Na money Dem tie for that place oo. |
usagee36:Not only Nigeria, Africa in general, especially black Africa. Nigerians are the masters of taking on something brought from the western world, perfect it, repackage it and get better at it than the original inventors. It's the same with fraud, we didn't start it, but now we are better at it. Go to the churches in Europe, they don't shout while praying, sometimes I wonder if the version of God in Africa is different from the God in the western world. Here everybody is looking for miracles , so those so called men of God are capitalizing on that to fool people. Just perform a few staged miracles and u will have millions of people follow u. |
Bodexinvest:Maybe there's a reason he died after the first part of the recordings was completed. Have u thought about that? He decided to die after most of his disciples found the courage to run away. BBC started recording over 2 yrs ago and shortly after he decided it was time to die |
SeriouslySense:Don't under estimate the power of religion. Once u are deep into taking a man of God as ur daddy, no matter what he tells u or does to u, ur still gonna defend him, all it takes is for him to speak a word and u are already brainwashed. Why do u think it's very easy for people to strap a bomb to their chest and blow themselves up in a crowded place because their spiritual leaders asked them to do so to get salvation. Guy, never under estimate the power of religion. As for many men of God/spiritual daddies, they will tell u that the more u make the man of God happy the more God is happy with u. So when they sleep with their members the victims either find nothing wrong in it or refuse to speak out. |
Justnation:Have u watched the documentary? He died shortly after most of his disciples that worked with him escaped from the church premises where they all lived. The documentary was a work that has been going on for 2 yrs from all his disciples and workers that were very close to him. Those white women that pioneered his preaching and media awareness. One of his securities even threatened to shoot the tires of the taxi one of the foreign workers took while trying to escape to the airport, caught on tape. Now , maybe, just maybe he knew he was about to get exposed after all these workers ran away and took his own life to avoid the shame. Nobody knows. |
Breezy90:For real, I just weak for some people. They just read and don't understand, or they just don't read at all. 3rd mainland bridge has up to 15 or more ramps that connect to it. The ramps is what they have been working on in stages. The last closure was to repair the ebute meta and makoko ramp and the job has been completed and reopened. Go through those places now and it's very smooth. Now they are working on another ramp, people still dey complain. Omo mhen. |

Dangote wanted to shift the upcoming high petrol prices to FG
NNPC that failed to produce a single drop of petrol wants to now start monopolising dangote petrol
