Hi Landers, The test is for 2hours and I will strongly advice that you leave the LONG passages to the tail end of the test else you wont finish. One other thing, make sure you look around and pray to God that you should be the MARKING scheme for the test because it is the performance of that day that will determine the cut-off mark. Try this and you will shout HALLELUYAH. The Gre is a foreign one and you may try playing with alphabeths towards the end of the test(say 5mins to the end).Please make sure you get all the 25 maths question, it is possible, infact start with that.

infact, when we complained to Micheal about the time, he answered and said ' I HAD MY INTERVIEW WITH THE MD AT 2AM IN THE MORNING BECAUSE THE MD IS A BUSY PERSON'. Now, that sounds unbelieveable!

it was really an experience. Infact one of the guys came from Ibadan. He said he didn,t have a place to sleep(guess he was joking) however Micheal( hr person) offered him is place if he was really serious.The whole place was still alive at 9pm as if the days work just started. Gud morning landers. To all those that read my post on zenith vs access, I think you deserve to read this. New readers are welcome.

I got a call ysty around 1pm from Access HR asking me if I received a text message for an interview for 5pm at the Head office.I said no and she apologised and told me what to do and that the message will be sent to me shortly.

I was reluctant to go but pressures around me made me go.

I arrived at the venue around 4.30 pm and met 2 guys and a lady already seated.By 5pm we were 8 in number and we waited till 6pm before 'MICHEAL' the HR person that conducted the Test came. He apologised to us and said he is still appealing to the managers help him conduct the interview.

At about 8.00pm we left 7th floor of leaf building plot 1669 to another office 2 buildings away. At 8.10pm,Micheal was kind enough to ask us if we were hungry and we said yes. He then gave me #2000 to get snacks and drinks for the 8 of us at TFC.

When we came back, the interviewers were already seated and the 1st man entered at about 8.40pm.

QUESTIONS I WAS ASKED

INTERVIEWERS? my name is x, my colleague is y, can we meet you and why should access hire you?
ANS: summarised my person, my edu qualifications, acheivements and ended by saying I have been an APPLICANT since leaving nysc.

QUE:Whwn you say applicant which other coy have you applied to?
ANS:Applied to pz, cocacola,reltel, and i have a job with zenith bank I start on monday(said this to streamline their questions to that and it worked)

QUE:is there no training schooll? how much is the pay package?
ANS:i gathered that the training is on the job and the pay is 75k +30k medicals

QUE: no other allowance?
ANS:yes, but,

QUE:So why did you choose access knowing that zenith is a bigger bank than ours or are you not aware?
ANS:Yes am aware, but so much as been said about the school of excellence. I Want to go thru it and be a warrior as the access person is called.

INTERVIEWER: well, I think it is a good choice you are making. It will really benefit you. This is the place to be if you want to learn the ethics of the proffesion.
ANS: thank you sir

INTERVIEWER: Do you have any ques for us?
ANS: yes, I want to know why the coy places premium on age 24 cos there are people that are 26 27 that want to be in the bank?(asked that cos am 26. I Falsified my age and that is another reason for not wanting to work in the bank)

INTERVIEVER: It is a matter of policy. From our research we have found that even if we bring the age to 19,20 we will still get the [b]WARRIOR[/b]S we need cos private universities are turning out graduates at 19,20 ,21

am sure you will be called. I was also called this morning by ACCESS HR for an interview by 5pm today. I don,t know if going there is worth it cos I do not have a sworn declaration of age( born in 82 not 84 as i claim). Again, as i said b4 I am not down with the idea of being tied down for 2 years. What do you think I should do?

Therefore, going for the test of a bank that has so much enjoyed good recommendations, I decided to post my findings of the two banks and leave the rest to landers to debate. The two things you need to have b4 invitation for access test is
1. falsify your age if you are more than 24 cos you wont be called
2. have a 1.1 or 2.1

please keep your fingers crossed okay?i say dis cos there was this guy that claimed he had his test in oct 2007 while serving and was called in june 2008 after the service.

I respect your opinion about access bank and i love your passion for the bank. as i said before, i wrote their test and i believe i will pass, but i personally will not subscribe to working in the bank. This is not because I am scared of the training. HELL NO! its just because i believe that an employer should not run my life completely. I have goals that I have spanned over a 5 year period and no amount of money will make me change that. Infact the zenith offer is not bad. the probation period is to test whether you will stay in the bank or not. I wont be wrong to say that the issue of the car has not been implemented cos by now the whole nigeria should be filled with access branded cars. do you know the share price of zenith compared to access? so much to say, takia my friend

If you do it this week, they will invite you for test the next week and load you with their terms and conditions.Again, you can forwad your cv to [b]hr.power@zenith.com[/b]chek the website for confirmation.that was the email i forwarded my cv to b4 i wrote the test. GTB is also recruiting though it closes today. Glaxosmithkline at ilupeju too is recruiting.I wish you the best man.

HOWEVER, DO NOT THINK I KNOW SOME1 THERE COS I DONT. YOU SEE THERE HAS BEEN SO MUCH CONTROVERSY ABOUT THE ZENITH OFFER OF 75K PER MONTH. LETS CHECK THE ACCESS OFFER: 43K+ FOR 4 MONTHS THEN AN ANNUAL SALRY OF 3.51M.LOOKS GOOD RIGHT. OKAY, A SURETY TO GUARANTEE 2M IF YOU LEAVE THE COMPANY WITHIN 2 YEARS, NOW, THATS BONDAGE!AGAIN, YOU WILL BE GIVEN A BRAND NEW CAR(ACCORDING TO THEM) BUT IT IS NOT FREE.YOU WILL PAY BACK IN INSTALLMENTS. NOW LETS GO BACK TO THE ZENITH OFFER: 75K A MONTH AS AN EXECUTIVE TRAINEE(TRAINING OR NO TRAINING).THAT equals 900k A YEAR. i actually agree with you about what you said about pple turning down the zenith offer. However, not everyone is going to marketing department. There are departments like power and infrastructure which is majorly for engineers and from what I said at the interview, I hope to be in that. Again, one should not put all hope in one organization. As far as am concerned, the shell test is the KoKo and I pray that I pass that then I can forget the zenith offer, Good luck

thanks josh! i wrote the test on 30th april and i was among the afternoon batch of that day.I gathered yesterday that some people wrote the test last week and were invited for interview yesterday. However I deduced that people called were those that wrote the test between april and june.It is worth noting that some people had their first stage interview last week and had the second yesterday but in my own case I had both stages yesterday.

guess we did the same interview! I was called today (5pm) by Blessing. It was to find out if I had collected my Waec certificate. I told her that WAEC asked me to come for it on monday and she told me that after i get it on monday, I should come on Tuesday. I think our letters are ready,I heard they need us urgently, Congrats agian.(OYELEYE, AYODEJI)

I want to congratulate you if you are among those that were invited for the shell test. However, it is one thing to get invited, it is another to pass the test. If you are among those that want to pass the test then you must read this.

How can you pass the test?
Well, I am asking myself this question also. As i was brainstorming, I got the answer. While I was in the university, I found out that Team work was the key to having 8 firstclass, 22 (2:1) in a class of less than 50 and in a school as difficult as OAU. So, what am I suggesting? For all of us that was invited for the test we would each find a way to get the test formatthen e vwill meet and have tutorials  together.I have once been told that team  means Together Everybody Acheives Much.

How do we then get a venue?
Am so sur that there are some of us that our parents have schools or are lecturers in a nearby university or private college. We can discuss with them and see if they can allow us use the classroom for 1 week or 2. Again, for graduates from the university of lagos, you can help us find out if there is a free venue we can use.

What do you stand to benefit?
If you are a very bright student, consider it that you are rendering a selfless service with which your reward will be good success. Please support this course, let us come together and share ideas on the ways to pass the test. I assure you, if we do this we will all succeed no matter how many we are.

I am writing this because team work has worked for me. I have found out that no idea is wasted. Those things we cannot read about, we can discuss it the same way the medical students do.

There is anoda interview coming up tomorrow on this same trainee stuff. The expalation I got was that the interview is going to be done in batches so let us still wait. However, the guy promised to let me know the situation of things this evening,

@mogambe, were you among those that was called for last weeks interview? This is because a friend of mine was called last week for the interview. I was told I still have hope because the cut off point is 4/10 and that was what i had.Please n1 with useful information should let the house know.My friend that was called for interview had a 1st class and he is very goosd so maybe he was called because of his high performance, I may be wrong!

those that has been employed were mostly employed as RMD RESIDENT MARKETING DEVELOPERS and they are managers in the new depot cocacola is siting in major centers in lagos. The question is what are the criteria for choosing this people?

guy, I have taken peopleprime test and I have also passed the test. One thing you should know is that they are doing you a favour. How i wish i was the one offered the position I would gladly take it and build on my career in the line of storekeeping. You beta go and beg them to give you else some1 else will and you have to wait till God knows when agian.Remember, a job at hand is beta than 100 that requires screening, okay!

Landers what happened at Nbc TEST today really blew my mind. It went against all that I expected. I was told that the test was going to be be conducted by NBC themselves and lo and behold the test was a repeat of pz 2nd stage. I called my frend after the test and he told me that he gave me the information based on what happened in his time. Again, some of the guys that were called for interview earlier were also called for test. The answer I got wsa that they were those that failed the interview. However, I was told that because they passed the test, they were allowed to try their luck again. Which then means that sum people were recruited directly in the interview provided they succeeded. What then was the criteria for selection? do you smell a foul play like I do? I don, t seem to understand nthing nmore just want to apologise 4 sumthings that I posted that didn,t cum to pass. I really was just trying to inform the house what I heard, pls pardon me, All the best in the 2nd stage, But those aft guys sha, the same test they brought in mantrac, pz was same done 2day, nawa o

Does that mean that peopleprime has no power to recommend thos who has passed thier test to stanbic ibtc?

lucky u man. what am sure of is that aft consulting is done with. The test will be set by nbc themselves. However, I have not been able to reach my friend for days now. cheers

step 1-log on to www.peopleprime.net or www.peopletemp.net
step 2-enter for the graduate recruitment fair of alternatively drop your cv as a graduate.
step 3- if u enter for the graduate recruitment fair, you may be called for a mass test like the 1 of march 5 for Gtb  at ettals hotel. I must tell you that those who passed that test are already undergoing training at Gtb ikoy. I know this because last wednesday when I went for the zenith test at ikoyi I me t about 3 of my guys who came for  the training at gtb ikoyi branch.
step 4-if you drop yoyr cv as a graduaute you may likely be called for a test lke the guy who originally posted this piece.
step5- if you get called for the test in their office, what i posted to the guy will be your portion.
Again, I must say that I had to wait 11 months before I was invited by peopleprime and when they finally invited me, I made sure i passed first time because that is the only chance. Yes, I am aware that some people went for the interview straight ahead. However, the truth is that they are guys who studied commercial courses. Engineers like us are to go through another test b4 the final interview. I know this because a friend of mine who graduated a set b4 me (OAU) is presently working there as a project engineer. He also entered thru the GT.After my last post, I called him and he told me there would be anoda test. I was supposed to ask him 4 d test format but his number as not being going.
I guess we are few invited so God on our side we will make it thru, cheers
