There is no proper answer for an improper question. What i can tell you is that the igbos have no real motives behind their wanting to break away. All i see is a people clinging to the past and not seeing any possibilities in the present or future. Tell me anything in the present Nigeria that is nessecitating your agitation for wanting to break away other than the fact that igbos have not reason to the post of presidency in our current democratic dispensation?

Every nation as gone through one hardship or the other in their history and the people united to fight it. Read the history of India and South Africa for example. Why didn't the black majority in South Africa fight for separating from the white minority? Instead they fought against oppression and racism. Thats the way forward in any advance society. Remember united we stand, divided we fall. Come to think of it. How many of Ojukwu's family died or wounded during the civil war. How many of them faced the severe hunger that killed the igbos in their millions? Where are the family of Nnamdi Kanu presently? Pls dont allow people with hidden agenda disrupt our peace and harmony as a people!

Its not really about tatoo or dressing dirty. If you are not a criminal, the way and manner you will answer questions and the information you have about who you and your family is enough to vindicate you. Its easy to see lapses when a criminal is been asked questions except we are dealing with highly trained and advanced criminals. Badoo boys to me are just mislead and derailed youths. They can be easily fished out during intense interrogation. So wether you have dreadlocks or tatoo, your true nature and the life You are living presently will give you away as either a normal person or a criminal. Some might not even be badoo boys but into other forms of criminality...

This interrogation will help differentiate the innocent ones from criminal elements. Most of the criminals dont have a means of livelihood or family they stay with. Am sure the men carrying out the interrogations are not your everday police but detectives. This same scenerio played out when there was a raid at the new african shrine agidingbi, during Fashola's first tenure as Lagos state governor. About 370 people were arrested. Police detectives needed to carry out proper interrogation to seperate law abiding citizens who just went there to "chill" and bad elements in the society. Many people were released while people who could not present themselves as responsible citizens were held back for proper investigation. Please have some faith in the Nigerian police. They are not that worse!

Anyone calling Nigeria a zoo needs to get their brain checked. Civilized people in a society dont talk or act like that. Some Igbos (especially the younger generation) have been filled with so much hatred and bigotry that you have lost hope in humanty. Do you all think you are the best behaved or responsible people in Nigeria? All i see is arrogance and disrespect for fellow humans. You all talk as if other tribes are enjoying this country except the igbos. Instead of coming together to fight injustice and bad governance, you are shouting of breaking away and create "the best country in Africa". My questions. Are politicians from the east saints? Are there no election violence in the east? Dont eastern governors embezzle public funds? Are there no kidnapping and armed robbery pervalance in the east? What about ritual killings! If we keep allowing the past to dictate our present and future, then we are worse than savages. Every single tribe in Nigeria is affected by bad governance. Only unity and joining forces can move this nation forward. NK is a man with a personal agenda. I love my igbo brethren from my heart. But i really hate the way they've been handling this biafra thing. It shows gross disrespect for other ethnic groups. Especially when they call Nigeria a zoo. Am a Nigerian and that really is disturbing to me. Stop hate speech! Stop racism! Stop beating war drums!!

Maybe you should go back and read my first post properly. I started by commending him for at least doing something, but that does not erase the fact that he is not doing his constituency a favour. The money used to purchase that bus is NOT his personal money, so don't let's get it twisted.

You can commend a person while still demanding for accountability and insisting you get full value for your worth. We shouldn't be groveling at politicians' feet. No sane person goes to HR each month to say thank you for salary because guess what? They worked their butt off full days of the month, and that salary is in exchange for their work.

Do you know how many people are in need of that job you think you got? And how many of these politicians divert monies meant for the masses? Saying thank you to your HR is a personal thing base on your understanding of life. Am not sticking my head for or against it. All am saying is that people should be appreciated when they do right because there is an opportunity to do otherwise. Desmond as done right. Sikena. Desmond trained 1000 pupils on computer basics and usage and the best 100 where picked for intensive training on scrach software and how to create apps last saturday half got free systems to continue practising. aside that he also has students he sponsored to university.. what local govt are you from am sure not surulere because if its surulere u will know all this. as a matter of fact hon femi gbajabiamila the majority just equipped 500 students from 10schs around surulere. boss when someone is working commend not condemn.

What Nigerians need to realize however is this: politicians are not doing you a favour, it is your entitlement. Until that mindset changes, we will continue to be content with breadcrumbs even though the whole loaf of bread is what we should get.
