Guys, please can someone wear a shirt and tie for the interview or is it compulsory to go with a suit ?

Yes you can wear a shirt and tie. Trust me, If they don't take an applicant it won't be because he did not wear a suit

Chances are slim. I did the math, you make max $2500/month between the two of you. How do you convince a VO that you intend to spend the equivalent of two months salary (include costs of flight tickets) for a few weeks vacation and return to Nigeria?

Just wondering. Would it be so bad spending 2 months salary on a well deserved vacation?

That's so not true. Have been operating my money market account with them since last year and Axa has never done same day subscription for me. Even when I subscribe as early as 8am that day. I have tried with the app and bank transfer with my name and account id and it's always the same Story.

For me Stanbic still remains the best, same day subscription and redemption.

FBNQuest Capital is terrible. Subscription takes a minimum of 48hours, that's if u are lucky a enough to do it on a weekday and not too close to the weekend (Friday), in that case it takes more than three days. Redemption is even worse, sometimes u have to follow up with emails and calls. It's borderline terrible.

You can't say someone else's experience is not true based on yours

I use stanbic and Axa mansard and I can say stanbic has frustrated me so much + it takes them forever to reply emails. It has also taken a week for me to redeem once , I have had good experiences with them but the bad ones outweigh the good

Was this application approved? Did this VO not zero in on what you are now doing in terms of work and all?

Yes it was approved. He just asked me what I do and I gave that response as stated in my post

You subscribed on 02/04/19 and fund reflect same day. Only axamansard can do that. Others would take at least 48hours.
Regarding interest, you don't get interest paid the same day you fund an account.

We are in the month of may
02/04/19 is one month not same day

It goes both ways, I've had to wait for more than 24 hours to get credited and I've equally gotten my redemption proceeds in less than 3 hours.

Sigh, let me hope & pray. It would be 48 hours by 9am

All these people always praising the speed of Stanbic's redemption ,why is my case always different?

Requested by 9am yesterday and nothing yet (even after sending me a text yesterday to say it would take 24hours)

And that's still 11.7%. But Stanbic had never stated any rate less than 13% for more than a month now.

the figures there are not the based on the daily interest rates oh, you can have a daily interest of N2000 and they would reinvest only N1000 because that's the bit that the underlying investment has matured

As a graduate trainee, your pay is 180k monthly. So I was told by a friend who works there.

To those who are yet to get mails, keep your fingers crossed. Today is another day and mails are definitely going to drop too, so keep your hopes alive.

We're all going to make it to 5B come June.

Lmao

So friends lets talk salary.

How much for trainee?

If its true to be 150k, how long would this pay take before it upgrades.

Whats the promotion like?

Salary would usually be updated after confirmation

Stanbic Gurus, please how soon does SIBTC pay dividends for bonds/equity funds for the year ended 31 December 2018?. AXA paid theirs on 31 December

Thanks. But with this method, how will they know the account to fund/ credit ? Or is their any place to upload the payment receipt/ screenshot?

They do it automatically, you get a funds receipt confirmation . When you use the USSD code, They ask for your phone number and your full name shows up

1. If you fund after 2pm, your account will be credited the following day
2. I prefer bank transfer as the charge on interswitch will take almost 20days for me to make as interest

You can also do *737*50*Amount*292# to fund your account at no charge

How often does Stanbic ibtc reinvent the accrued interest?
I'm not sure it's weekly!

"This means that we will re-invest portions of the accrued interest that relate to matured securities in the Fund. For instance, once any of the underlying securities in the fund attains maturity, the accrued interest that pertains to such underlying security would be automatically reinvested on your Money Market Fund account thereby providing you an opportunity to compound your interest earlier."

Trust me is better u go to their office for issue number 2. I had same issue some time ago and they didn't respond to any of the emails and calls till I went to their office. For number 1, I hope it's earning interest, if it is don't even disturb your self. And trust me I still feel stanbic is better than axamasard if u are thinking of switching. Coz I have both

I have axamansard too , their customer service is way better than Stanbic to me . I have never had issues with redemption or subscription and the only day I made a complaint they called me immediately. Stanbic's customer's experience is 0

Should I trust Stanbic IBTC with my money if they keep making silly mistakes like this

1. I paid some money into my money market fund and they posted it twice in error. Almost three weeks later they have still not been able to do a reconciliation and correct the issue

2. I moved some money between mutual funds , from bond fund to guaranteed last week monday, 8 working days after, they have not credit the guaranteed with the money but they have taken the money out of the bond ( different money from the one above)

I have sent emails which they have not responded to , I am not sure if i have to go to their office

He said his earnings for this week alone...
He makes about 12 naira everyday which means he gets about 22%p.a.
I'm tempted to move already. But the website shows 12.3xx%

oh I see

I did capital 20,127.42 for day 1 less capital of N20083.42.

Please do the Maths with a capital of N20083.42. Those are my daily report amount for this week so far on ARM

20,127.42
20,139.82
20,152.38
20,164.93
20,177.48
20,189.97

Lmao ...if you claim you are earning N44 a day on your mutual fund, It means in 365 days, you'd get N16,060 . An annual interest rate of 80%. Does my calculator have a glitch or is this beans not done?

Reinvestment when the underlying asset matures means?

Can we also put ARM mmf in this comparison

*Underlying security I meant*

". This means that we will re-invest portions of the accrued interest that relate to matured securities in the Fund. For instance, once any of the underlying securities in the fund attains maturity, the accrued interest that pertains to such underlying security would be automatically reinvested on your Money Market Fund account"

I have only used Stanbic and AXA so I can't do a comparison of ARM

Hello,
I'm new to MMF and I'll like to invest in Stanbic MMF or AXA Mansard MMF, Please which one is advisable?

Redemption Speed :- AxaMansard
Interest Rate:- Both usually have similar rates
Diversity of Funds(Incase you decide to invest in other funds that are not MMF) : Stanbic IBTC
Customer Experience:- AxaMansard
Dividend Reinvestment :- Stanbic reinvests when the underlying asset matures while AxaMansard reinvests quarterly
