Does anyone know how much Egypt air charges for excess luggage? Does anyone have a working contact number for them? Kindly assist

Be patient, it appears Unilag won't respond to their email verification but wait for the mail from wes instead, which may take a week or two.

On this WAEC issue, I had mine evaluated with my Bsc last year because I didn't want stories that touch incase i wanted to upgrade my WES for school, which I have successfully now.

The info on their website was outdated, so I suffered small that day.

I went to the WAEC office in Jibowu, paid 10k for processing and 9k for UPS. I was asked for affidavit( you can get this done under one shed outside the building for 2k or so in like 30mins), plis dears, bother doing it elsewhere because they will not accept it and they'll still direct you to the shed outside the building. I was asked to bring my exam number (the exam number will be used in the affidavit), I also used a copy of my statement of result as I didn't have my certificate, some passport photographs. Cant remember any other significant thing I was asked.

I can't remember if I paid for verification again (I doubt I did)but I collected the transcript guy's number to follow up on verification.

The process may be different now sha.

It is most likely ready but call their helpline on 08150199900 and follow the voice prompt to speak with an agent to be sure your passport is ready for pick up. You'll be asked for your tracking number. When did you submit your passport btw?

I think they just wanted the applications completed separately for the sake of the fees while also acknowledging that we are married.
Ottawa won't take on my application without fresh fees, London won't transfer my fees to them either as they already mobilised manpower. I think it was just convenient for them although they know we are both going to Canada (and we will definitely accompany each other lol), just that we applied separately. The non-accompanying part is just for formality and to make the whole thing less complicated for whoever comes across our application in the future.....I think.

We notified them individually via email and CSE: 21st May
London responded to my email two days later, saying they would withdraw my application, reopen his application and merge mine with his. Ottawa was quiet about his emails.
ADR (Husbands account): 23rd May- The generic stuff they ask for when you add your spouse; Processing fees & RPRF, several forms, wedding pictures, marriage certificate and he was instructed to return his passport and COPR.

At this point, I was upset that they ignored the fact that I submitted an application as well and just sent him the same thing as though he added me to his application as a fresher. I had been in contact with a friend of @4Barr (thanks for the hookup btw) who had been in the exact situation and said the same thing happened to her and they had to pay again hoping she would receive her refund then but they never withdrew her application nor did they refund till date (over a year now). So we decided to hold out on responding to the ADR after all, we had 30days to respond.

Anyway, we both emailed them severally that I already paid with my own application and we shouldn’t have to pay a second time. London responded to mine and said they would contact Ottawa about the fees. Ottawa eventually responded saying he should disregard the ADR and fees and that an officer will attend to his file shortly, this was after he called them to order in an email about them ignoring his previous messages and explaining our situation again

Two days later I followed up with London, they responded on the 31st and said;

“Thank you for your email.

We have indeed received a response from our office in Ottawa. They will continue to process and issue for your spouse’s application and this office will continue to process and issue for your application. No additional fees are payable.

Your spouse will be added to your application as a non-accompanying dependent, and you will be added to his application as a non-accompanying dependent.

We will send a request letter via your MyCIC account shortly. Please review it as soon as possible”

ADR for Marriage Certificate (Husband’s account): 30th May.
ADR for Marriage Certificate (My account shortly after their response): 31st May
My account was also updated with my husband as a dependant.
PPR: 1st June

Another PPR for my hubby: 5th June.

NB: We sent our passports separately

I had this same issue, I put all the countries in between, purpose of visit was transit

Lol. With this ajala travelling, did you happen to go to Ghana by road? How do I present all the countries I crossed to get to Accra. The stamps are there in my invalid passport.

Please get married first before you apply, your score will drop but it should be okay enough to get you ITA quickly.

I have a friend that was exactly in your shoes. She got married after her hubby got COPR and her own application was on-going too. They notified CIC and they merged their application, requested for the hubby's COPR and re-issued a new COPR to the two of them. This however depends on the stage you are in your own application as she was already on IP2 so the process was faster.

Both, Register with wes and follow their instructions

That is how i woke up 4am jejely to read. Just had an itch to check my email. There it was lying since 3:02pm yday, a mail to check my account.

Lo and behold, it was PPR. didnt believe it at first, call a friend who has received PPR to help me confirm.

Thanks! He used a single Tbillz certificate for all the POF, it was almost as though they were blind to it. Anyway, we uploaded the tbillz certificate again, statement of acc, LOE and letter of non-indebtedness which wasn't even CIC compliant.

We didn't really notice IP1, not even after medicals passed, so either we missed it or it was NA all through, most likely the later cos we were watching that thing like hawks.

Anyway, na my own remain now.

Based on this, I have a serious question, if mine doesn't come out by the time we get married, will he have to notify them? I have seen cases of people adding their spouses after COPR but before landing but never a case where the spouse had also submitted an application. Your thoughts?

Wow. You have been on IP2 since then? Maybe you should order gcms notes.
