You can fax it to them yourself. If you didn't attach it to the forms you submitted to Unilag, then you'll have to do it yourself Dannyko: Good morning all,For those who attended UNILAG,pls do I still need to personally send my certificate to WES? I thought the school will do everything for me,cos I paid 18.5k (processing n courier fees).Kindly let me know if I need to send anything to WES. |

Thanks! Kontagious: If you so wish but Listening and Reading must be answered using pencil. You may however use a pen when answering on your question paper but when you're transferring to the answer sheet, only pencil must be used for both Listening and Reading. You may choose to use either pencil or pen for Writing. |

HAHA i did my speaking too last saturday, it was a Nigerian woman but i suspect lives in the UK as she had an accent. Her reaction was pretty much the same as what you described. I was just confused on my performance lol. I am very hopeful for a 7.5 at least SegunWamiri: Please what centre was this? I do hope this does not occur in my centre (Abeokuta) this Saturday oo.
In another news, Speaking module is out of the way.. OMG, I just trust God for the best outcome. I know I impressed the Ghanaian lady at some point but at another, I could see the expression on her face...he has muddled it up there..lolz. Come to think of it. Them no dey use Nigerians abi na so them no trust US? |

So all is written with pencil? Kontagious: Well, I understand where your concern stems from. At a point prior to my 1st attempt, I was tempted to ask if pen is allowed for the test .
To your question. The exam is paper based. For listening which comes first except in rare cases where it comes later, you'd all be given an infrared headphone, question paper and answer sheet. The listening audio is played from a central device but you only hear it through your headphone. So each test taker hears the tape individually. The headphone comes with volume control, you can adjust the volume to your comfort.
Reading comes next, you'd be given a booklet (question paper) where you have your passages and questions. No device, just paper. Answer sheet for reading is the back page of listening answer sheet. So, you have front page as listening answer sheet, back page as reading answer sheet. If your test starts with listening, your headphone will be collected during the reading test.
Writing follows, but your answer sheet which contains answers for both listening and reading is collected before writing starts. You'd then be given your writing question booklet and answer sheets - One sheet for task 1 and the other for task 2. The task is clearing written on the papers so you are to adhere strictly to using the right paper for the right task. The colours are different too, white and light brown. You are not to open the question paper till you're told to do so which most likely will be when every task taker has his question and answer sheets.
Hope this helps. |

So this means the 5 points will only be useful if i take the provincial nomination route right? GlitteringStar: You can get 5 points for adaptability if you have a relative (parent, grandparent, child, sibling, uncle or aunt, niece or nephew) who is a PR/Canadian citizen living in Canada under the FSW program but for the 15 additional CRS Express Entry points, you need to have a sibling in Canada who is a PR/Citizen. |

I'm curious, I have an uncle as well and i understand i won't get any CRS points from adding him. So whats the point exactly What benefit does it have? Santino1: Remember the golden rule in applications: Always provide more info than less.
If you can get your Uncle to send you a scan copy of their PR and proof of residency, then it won't hurt your application. You can simply explain the apparent discrepancy in your LOE. |

Please let me know too. I have a diploma from Unilag and I need all the points i can get! Thanks! cuteguy201: Hi, sorry for not responding in your previous posts.
My B.Sc had been successfully verified and accepted by WES.
However, my Diploma documents were left unattended to along side other diploma documents awaiting verification at the records office.
Anyway, I discovered this yesterday when I went to the Records office to make a complain and made sure the documents were transferred to the Diploma office for processing.
I would keep you posted when the verification is sent. |

You better run there now and start the process. You don't know what you have. I'll give almost anything to get those extra points as it has been made clear Unliag diploma doesn't count! dombosco: I just hope they evaluate Unilag diploma and bsc as two or more certificates mehn. Tho I have OnD from offa polytechnics but to go there and request for transcripts is money and time consuming unlike getting to send the diploma and bsc I both have from Unilag to WES. Sigh! |

Guys please help!!! Can i get points for a one year diploma i did to get into University of Lagos for my BSc through direct entry? Does WES assess such Does the one year-diploma and my Bsc degree count as "Two or more certificates, diplomas or degree" |

Hello Your question 1 attracted my attention. Does one get extra points for a one-year diploma of direct entry into University? I tried to access it with WES but i think they ignored it completely. I need all the points i can get too. Thanks!!! yimiton: With your age and only a BSc, you'll need all the extra points you can get to help you get enough points that can get you an ITA.
1. Do you per chance have a diploma? I know some people get diplomas before direct entry into the university
2. Do you or your spouse have a sibling legally living in Canada?
3. Your spouse definitely needs to write IELTS, that 20 points is critical to you.
If your answer to questions number 1 and 2 are no, you need to ensure you get the English scores in number 4
4. You have to smash your IELTS, aim for L8.5 S7.5 W8 R8
When you've done all the above, you'll pray CRS comes down at some point. If it doesn't, you'll have to go through Provincial nomination. |

Oh seen.... Thanks for this!!! smslive2: I asked this from a representative of Nova Scotia at an information session last week. He said once you have been given Permanent Residence, you are a Permanent Residence and can live anywhere in Canada... However because you have already sign a declaration that you wish to live and work in the province, you should endeavor to live in the province for some time (no time frame though) and then you can move on. But the province would rather prefer you live within the province.
my take from what he said is, if you get a PNP and after approval, try and live in the province for maybe 3 months, Open account, apply for Social Insurance Number, etc... just to prove that you have lived there. |

Hi guys,
I was wondering if one can change location after receiving PR through provincial nomination since some provinces require one to sign a declaration to live and work in that province.
Thanks |
