You saw the changes? If you saw changes, then thats what the email you got is about. Have no fear. They always send emails for messages in your account and also changes. chiobich: No I did not. I just logged in and saw the changes. I have checked and checked. I can't see any messages. I hope I am not missing something. I don't want stories that touch. Thanks. |

Did you get an email when the medicals changed to passed? Perhaps thats the email that just dropped. Also check the messages at bottom of the page to be sure you didnt get an ADR. chiobich: Good morning everyone,
I got an email late last night that my application has been updated and I should check my application status and messages. I have logged in but I can't see any other update except that I passed medicals and assigned a UCI which I already noticed some days ago. Is there something I am supposed to be looking at for or is it the medicals I passed that they are just sending mail now for?
Thanks. |

Most people get this when after they ordered gcms notes. Did you? Anyway, there's no need for any action from your end unless they actually ask. MrsI: Hello all. Please I have a question. I noticed that on MyCIC account, there was a comment on them needing more documents for processing my application. However, there's been no correspondence stating what documents they need.
Has this happened to anyone? And should I just ignore them and wait? |

Wonderful! GlitteringStar: Yes. That is my plan too. You will change to a domestic student once you land. |

Out of curiosity, Can one apply to school as an international student and on getting PPR, landing and getting PR card now inform the University or College so as to be able to pay domestic fees? Has this worked for anyone? Will one need to apply from scratch again to the school?
Just wondering... |

In hindsight, we truly should have waited a bit. Although we found in the notes after much studying that eligibility & criminality have been passed. AOR was 31st October. Application has been on NA before and after ADR late November so we hoped the notes will prompt some sort of activity. VO is Ottawa btw. optionese: 84 pages is quite small . That would show little or no activity by the VO. Check pages 2-3 to see the summary of your file and also the last few pages. When was your AOR? I think you may have ordered too early. Mine was 183pages and didn't contain much. |

Apology accepted. The wait for everything is quite annoying. I also thought "what could be so difficult to understand about a GCMS notes?" till I saw one. Wish you a speedy PPR as well! Aig84: Hello Abbylee, please forgive me if my response came out wrong, I honestly was trying to understand why it will be such a chore. But as happytbaby said, you could be in the middle of something important and coupled with the stress of waiting etc. God knows I don't have all the time in the world as well. (Maybe na the wait for NOI dey do me like this).
Anyways, I tender my unreserved apology for the manner in which I responded.
Wish you a speedy PPR. May it all end in praise. |

You still haven't given me the guide since you are the God of GCMS notes. Why? Is this because you don't understand either? Yes? No? You understand but won't help? Ok great, drink water and mind your business then! Aig84: Elementary my dear, Elementary |

Sigh. Thanks for this response! happytbaby: Is it a story book? Please consider that some people are actually very busy.
This might be someone juggling being a wife, an employee, a mother etc among other things. Some things come easy for some people and might not come easy for some. Everyone has his/her strength. 84 pages is a stretch. |

Sherlock Holmes! Please I never said I won't read or haven't read it thoroughly, I clearly indicated "understand" so if you can't answer or help, its okay to just move on or unlook. Aig84: I'm sorry but what is wrong with reading the 84 pages in YOUR GCMS notes? sunvick: Poster check page 96 for the summary of what is more relevant. |

I think you are good to go. I did the same! bhanjjie: Is there a section that specifically asks you to submit NYSC discharge certificate while completing PR forms post-ITA?
I am looking to claim three years' work experience. I completed my internship (3 months in year 2010) and NYSC (12 months in year 2012) at the same organisation and my supervisor is happy to provide me with a reference that covers both periods (as a "straight" work experience, totaling 1 year and 3 months - e.g. Jan 2012 - March 2013), which would go a long way in achieving the three years' work experience I desire to have a good score for ITA. This is crucial because I worked for one year and ten months with another company after NYSC. I thought the three months internship period could come right before the NYSC start month. I was paid at my PPA during my NYSC and can provide bank statements for the 6 months terminal period if required. Both companies are well established and can be found easily on Google. Kindly advise.
Or would CIC equate 2 years, 10 months work experience as three years? |

Out of curiosity, what are the reasons one may get his or file moved to LVO? Visa refusals? Travel history to a particular country? ADR? |
