Shameful and foolish action... Well all these generation know is sex, they post it on their social media account, I they dress to show it and it's very shameful. I see a future generation of youth that would resort to crime and criminal activities because when later in life they realise that the fake life that they have been seeing on social media takes hard work and pain to achieve they will start looking for alternatives.

Yes. We are going to have more arm robbers(that will justify their action by saying work no dey), take it or leave it a lot of these slay mama's are going to become prostitutes either because they refuse the advances from eligible men who they think will not give them the Banky W kind of wedding and they allow themselves to become over age with the only option of prostition to maintain their lavish fake lifestyle.

A girl broke up with me after the Banky W wedding thing and based her break up on the fact that she does not see us going anywhere, but I know it was all material and I nor bother because who go stay go stay and who go go, go go. Bottom line work hard and worry less about sex or relationship, because we have the rest of our life to fu#k so why hurry.

I want to see a social media filled with people sharing happy moments with their family, sharing business achievements and scientific achievements, not somebody posting her naked pics in one room 365 days of the year and of course we men will like it because Cmon! It's the picture of a beautiful young woman. A beautiful young woman that is slowly wasting away.
You sir are my hero of the day.

Press Statement

$1bn ECA Withdrawal: ‘Address Issues’, PDP Tells FG

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has described as inexcusable, moves by the APC Federal Government to divert attention from its attempt to pilfer $1bn from the Excess Crude Account (ECA) to finance partisan activities.

The PDP, which insisted that the Federal Government must address the issue, noted that “the attempt by the APC Federal Government to divert attention from the fraud, by resorting to unsubstantiated allegations against the PDP only reinforces its manipulative tendencies and arrogant spurn to the sensibilities of Nigerians.”

PDP National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan in a statement on Sunday also challenged the Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, to substantiate his claims that the PDP was rebranding with stolen money. Ologbondiyan said “such wild allegation was only intended to divert public attention from the heavy sleazes under the current administration, the latest being the moves to use the fight against terrorism as a conduit to siphon public funds for partisan purposes”.

“The Federal Government has failed to address issues raised by the PDP and majority of Nigerians, including APC members, who can not fathom how this administration would want to expend N365bn on fighting insurgents it claimed had been technically defeated.

It is indeed appalling that rather than being remorseful, the APC Federal Government has renewed its wild allegations and cheap blackmail against the PDP.

“It is a clear to all that the PDP do not have access to public funds and cannot be rebranding with stolen money. Instead, we are rebranding on the grace of the general goodwill of Nigerians who have suffered untold hardships in close to three years of APC government.

“While we understand the nervousness of the APC Federal Government over our rebranding and the renewed popularity of the PDP, which has signaled their inevitable death knell, resorting to outlandish allegations will not help them as Nigerians have since seen through such old-fashioned propaganda and gimmicks.

“We are however not surprised by this diversionary and deceptive approach from the APC government; a government whose officials have since become notorious for dishing out falsehood to Nigerians to cover their incompetence and corrupt tendencies.

“This is the same minister of information, who in a press in conference in Abuja, in 2016, promoted allegations that 55 people stole a total of N1.34 trillion; that 5 former governors stole N146.8 billion; that 4 former ministers stole N7 billion. All these have remained unsubstantiated.

While we challenge this Government to come clean on the issue of the $1bn Excess Crude money, we also challenge the minister of information to comment on allegations that the APC funded its 2015 presidential campaign with stolen public funds, particularly from Lagos and Rivers states.

“He should also waste no time in commenting on allegations of corruption against their former SGF, Babachir Lawal, the Mainagate and other heavy sleazes going on unabated under the current APC-led administration.

For APC, the Bell Tolls

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has noted the frenzied moves by the All Progressive Congress (APC) to create disaffection among our members, distract our great party, and divert the attention of Nigerians from the colossal failure of its government.

Having woefully failed to stop the PDP elective National Convention, a desperate APC has again failed in another bid to plant seeds of discord within the ranks of our members in the Southwest, particularly on issues relating to the outcome of our hugely successful  National Convention.

The people of the South West have, however, seen through the antics of the APC propaganda machine and  would not allow themselves be deceived.

The South West leaders who contested for the PDP National Chairmanship position are all men of quality and credibility; the fallout of the convention cannot, in any way,  diminish their standing as core nationalists and statesmen whose interests, particularly in the PDP, and the nation, are not driven by personal or ethnic considerations.

What essentially drives the individual and collective aspirations of the Southwest leaders in the PDP remains in tandem with the vision of other leaders of our party across the country, which is to rescue our dear nation from the directionless administration of the APC with its attendant economic hardship on Nigerians.

In fretting, the APC does not seem to realize that people in the Southwest are as much victims of its misrule as other Nigerians. Those in the Southwest suffer from the current shambolic state of the economy which the APC administration has inflicted on the nation; they groan from the APC’s negative policies on foreign exchange as well as the heavy taxations that are killing industries and businesses; they suffer the misery in the land resulting from the spiral rate of inflation, decline in the stock market and decayed infrastructure.

The APC’s attempt to plant seeds of discord among our members in the South west merely betrays their fears of losing control of the region.

The southwest is too sophisticated to fall for the gimmicks of the APC. They cannot be distracted or deceived by baseless propaganda and cheap resort to ethnic politics. The Southwest will not fail to join other despairing Nigerians in voting  out the APC in the 2019 election.

The truth is that the APC administration, having wrecked the country, is resorting to shadow boxing to stay afloat; Nigerians are, however, impatient to kick them out.

The APC must note that their exit has become inevitable. They must note that the more they fight the PDP,  the more united we become and the more Nigerians see through their deception and emptiness.

Today, many are leaving their ranks in droves. Very soon their party will be empty and its collapse will be loud.

For the PDP, we remain one big family committed to credible processes that guarantee internal democracy in our party. Our leaders have since revved our internal conflict resolution mechanisms to pacify those disaffected by the outcome of our convention and consultations in this direction are yielding tremendously positive results.

Finally, the PDP assures all Nigerians not to despair as we have now repositioned to provide direction and return the nation back to the path of unity and prosperity: a nation where citizens live without fear of molestation by those with the apparatus of state power.

Politics › PDP Convention: APC Jittery, Clutching On Straws. by abdeiz(op):
PDP PRESS STATEMENT

PDP Convention: APC Jittery, Clutching On Straws.

Our attention has been drawn to a statement credited to the spokesman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Malam Bolaji Abdulahi, wherein he criticized the conduct of the elective National Convention of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

It is indeed laughable that the APC which has roundly failed in not only managing the affairs of the country but also its own internal issues would recourse to panic mode just because the PDP has succeeded in uniting its fronts by conducting of a very credible elective National Convention.

We were very much aware of the plots by the APC to scuttle the convention and failing it has resorted to a failed attempt to discredit an elective convention that has been adjudged as creditable, novel and laudable by political stakeholders and lovers of democracy across the nation.

This unwarranted attack is only symptomatic of a party that has lost control and only clutching on straws for survival having been outrightly rejected by Nigerians.

Is it not disgusting, reprehensible and embarrassing that the APC that has repeatedly failed to hold meetings, congresses and convention in the last three years and has flagrantly continued to violate its own constitution is questioning our party’s rights to perform her legitimate and constitutional obligation?

Perhaps APC leaders have never read Article 25 (A)(i) of their party’s Constitution which stipulates that “the National Convention of the party (APC) shall be held once in two years at a date, venue and time to be recommended by the National Working Committee (NWC) and approved by the National Executive Committee (NEC) subject to the giving of the statutory notices to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and at least 14 days notice given to members eligible to attend.”

Which impunity could be higher than APC violating its constitution?  It is strange that APC could be moralizing on the principles of social justice whereas its actions against Nigerians are a complete departure from the norms.

It is important for this spokesman of a failed party and his pack of incompetent members to reminisce on the needless pains and suffering they have inflicted on Nigerians rather than being jittery over the successful outcome of the PDP’s elective national convention.

Nigerians have come to discover that APC is a fraud, an organization of deceitful characters who have failed to keep a single of its countless promises made to the citizens.

It is no longer news that the nation is drifting under APC and the PDP has come to the rescue. We must therefore remind the APC that the era of deceit, trickery and scaremongering, which has been the hallmarks of their government, is gone and Nigerians are just waiting to kick them out come 2019.

Long post alert pls bear with me,I've known my man for a year now and he has been the best I could ever asked for and we love each other very much.

My man is a picture of a gentle man he doesn't smoke, drink or have a fling with women tho he has ladies coming to him but he doesn't hide it from me he let me know what is going on outside our relationship.

NOW TO THE MAIN ISSUE
1 My boyfriend doesn't like partying or hanging out in anywhere else apart from eateries and sometimes I find it boring cos I like adventure and experiencing new things don't get me wrong I'm not a wayward girl

2 My boyfriend is this frequent church goer he doesn't joke with church activities that sometimes if we have a date he cancel it and goes to church I'm also a church worker but I don't go to church like my man once he closes from work he goes to church .

3 he doesn't give me works to do for him like cooking ,washing etc tho I've not done it before for a man but I can try to do it for him he prefers to do all of them even when I'm around if I insist he'll say he doesn't need to add more stress to me cos I have things to do like school and work.Does it mean he doesn't find me worthy to do them?

I really don't know what to do cos sometimes I feel he's changing me to his pattern of life

Well I hope this helps.

Sit down and think, why do you get jealous all the time, you can fight this jealously when you play out the worst case scenario in your head.

Ask yourself what happens if he's actually cheating, would you die? my best guess is no. Definitely you'd be emotionally down and will have trust issues in the future if he was cheating, but you can change that all if you look at at it in a way that it all doesn't matter.

I'm pretty sure you have insecurities that why you are scared of losing him cos he might be one of the few people who accept you for who you are and you're afraid no one else would. Get over those insecurities, play out the worse case scenarios. The world isn't going to end my dear. You just have to be strong.

bro, you don't have to rely on the gen. As I said, you could get a 1kw solar setup to charge your car for you. Or if you drive to the office and there is light, you can work out a way with management, or security guys to be charging your car while at work when you park.

Solar panels will only get cheaper trust me! It's just that our currency is so messed up, that reduced costs sometimes don't reflect here due to inflation. Still though, panels will get cheaper an cheaper. You can get 1kw panels for about 200k now.

AS FOR LONG TRIPS THOUGH, yes, you are right, you might get stuck sadly embarassed I don't foresee charging stations in Nigeria, unless the demand rises and smart entrepreneurs see the new trend and fill the need. Till then, you may not be able to take your electric car from Lagos to Abuja and back again, unless you plan to lodge in some hotel overnight and charge it there.

Still though, if you just drive to work and back home and other side trips here and there, there is PLEEEEENTY of range in and Electric Vehicle to put your current I.C.E to shame, even in this Naija. Dude 480km on a single charge is no joke men.
If you notice Nigerians are too stubborn AND conservative when it come to green energy...our love for fossil fuels is going to be our downfall.

Instead of us to start thinking about how to move on to alternative sources of energy like solar(which will definitely get cheaper in the future), biofuels and wind(very expensive but has the potential in this country)...but no we still want to stubbornly depend on petrol all the time.

As fas as I'm concerned electric vehicles are the future and I'm going to invest my.money in there.

We need to think its possible, sure, the epileptic power situation, the irony of using gasoline to power your gen so that you can charge your EV, costly setup costs of solar and non existence of wind energy infrastructure, we still have a long way to go and we will get there.
