When we can finally have no prejudice against each other, desist from using religion to gain an unfair advantage to justify your view even when it isnt fair.

Internet, time and money for servers.
Yeah i know but we just want to look professional and make it formal with a document, can you help me with details of some items i can input into the budget, we all know that labour takes almost 90% of the costs but we dont want to tell the client that right?

Please once again i beseech nairaland to solicit for help from our highly learned gurus wink cheesy cheesy

When you have a certain amount of money to create a project but you have no idea if it would be enough, how do you make a budget for a software project. What are the details, resources, materials you will need to develop a software and what percentage would items like labour, consultations and other indirect cost would take.

babyfaceafrica:
introverts are boring?...talk about yourself bro...lots of interesting introverts
I'm sorry let me be more concise, a true introvert can be boring to most women in their prime because who would want to sit at home all day reading a novel, binge watching a series or playing games. Not that we strictly stay indoors and do all that but when we occasionally go out. We just be quiet and observe, no public displays of affection, no gra gra......anyone else is just a conformist poser or extrovert/ambivert.

OP should go and sit down, introverts are one of the most boring people to women. Dont come here to give us hope, we are aware of our strengths and weaknesses and how to deal with it or live with it.

Romance › Dealing With A Family Member Or Close Friend Who Is Into Runs Or Ill Vices by abdeiz(op): 3:20pm On Jun 24, 2018
As a guy we discuss about our sexcapades around other guys most times and the usual gist but one thing i noticed is how guys defend each other or turn a blind eye when they discover that their sister is doing runs.

I was hanging around with some homies and one of them mentioned that his sister(who is schooling in another state) was in town and lodged in a hotel, being naive i asked what she was doing lodged in a hotel and he nonchalantly replied " na man she go see na". Suprised at his no give a damn attitude i asked again whether doesnt mind and the other jumped into his defence that what was expected of him to do about it, should he go and drag her out of there and risk being arrested by her visitor or worst be denied by his sister, that the best he can do for her is to pray for her and mind his business or at most give her little advice from time to time telling her to be careful. I wanted to interject and told them that it doesnt have to be that way but they kinda shut me up saying that i shouldnt tempt fate else it could happen to my family too to have my sisters doing runs. I had realized that this argument wasnt going to go my way and gave it up.

There were some observations i made during this conversation and i cant help but to think that many other brothers out there are dealing with the same issue and is more prevalent than we know cos due to the economic climate of this country presently anybody can be tempted to do anything.

1. One of the reasons why people go into runs is due to a lack of home training, parents let their kids to have a free hand and dont reprimand them at an early age, hence all they can be easily lured into wrong vices without having any emotional or moral remorse.

2. Friends and family are hesitant to talk to them because they might be getting some kind of favour from them one way or the other so they turn a blind eye in order to be on their good books. they give one excuse that its their life and thats how they chose to live with it, for God's sake its your own sister doing runs, the least you can do is be diplomatic and approach her in a way that she sees the light and stop.

3. We all know that everyone loves shortcut, right from school you flex life, dont focus on your studies or learn a trade(a legit one tho), you graduate from school without a good result or any meaningful skill to keep yourself productive. hunger wants to kill you hence you start doing illegal stuff.

Its so sad what is going on especially those who have loved ones doing it and are powerless to help, some dont even care about how it makes their parents feel and show no signs of stopping anytime soon.

As you lay your bed so you shall lie on it.

Make hay while the sun shines.
Education › Re: Reasons I Hate The Nigeria School System by abdeiz(m):
The Nigerian university killed my creativity.

What I am doing now is nothing related to what I studied and my degree didn't get me the job, imagine if I hadn't gone to school and started earlier back then... well that's just wishful thinking.

I was tormented and cheated in the Nigerian university and frustrated beyond tension limit. Hustled for upper class but narrowly missed out ... bureaucracy. It sucks.

When I see my peers rushing to do their masters in a Nigerian university... I just spit and wish them good luck. Cos they would definitely need it more than they think.

You know, this is very true! A glance at other developed societies in the world actually shows that their developments came in times of great tribulations : The Viking invasions was what unified England, World War II brought Human Rights declarations, the Capitalist- Communism war brought China together. It seems as though we need a life or death situation to shake people out of their lethargy and rationalised justification of their daily suffering through religion, and actually demand for the basic things of life. In the peaceful water, bad eggs are floating to the top. we need an overturn, a revolution.

But alas, this is Nigeria, this is Africa. A country where nothing works and we're used to it.
You just said what is on my mind better than i did

We here in Africa are yet to experience a serious enough existential threat. That is the only thing that keeps people together, the fear of being wiped out of existence. The corrupt still hold sway in power and the rich stay richer by feeding off the poor. The government becomes more corrupt and richer at the expense of the people.

They are very comfortable doing so. They can rub it in our faces while we applaud them. It sickens me and it should to any other reasonable thinking African. I am not generalizing because i already know people on this faceless forum would come and still say not everyone is as how i described when they very damn know well where i am headed.

Learn an IT skill in nigeria basically means go and learn Web design. That field will soon be oversaturated, there are other areas of expertise in IT, why only web design is popular, Networking is there, Android apps are there, so on and so forth.

Or could it be that it is the most easy to learn?

12. They don’t rely on Moses but he thinks they do.

13. Mikel is confused and playing defensive midfield instead of playing behind the striker.

14. Ighalo is fvcked

15. Shehu is not in his peak at the moment, Ebuehi is more treatning along that flank.

16. Iceland will use this opportunity to beat us with dead balls.
