Samsung Galaxy j series are expensive piece of junk. Poor processor, low ram, average camera, the only thing its got is the Samsung branding. Why would u spend 96-100k on a phone with 1.5gb of ram and poor 720p display, no NFC and gyro. Unless u are talking about galaxy j7 2016 which is scarce in Nigeria and will cost u around 150k. Still too expensive for a phone with 2gb of ram and 720p display.

All these entry level specs for close to a 100k?
And someone opened a thread to say Tecno phantom 6 & 6+ are over priced.

You re not wrong on this one. But personally, i see popular in two ways.

1. Everybody knows you and only few owns you. e.g. Iphone 7

2. Every body has you. (Techno)

Although Techno did storm the market with most of it's 2016 devices, when it comes to being famous. iPhone is king

My grand Ma knows iPhone but she doesn't know techno c9. lo

My grandma and her friends in the village knows Tekino. My neighbor here in Lagos doesn't know iPhone.

Value is relative and not absolute.
I know a couple phantom owners who feel they got value for their money.
So yes, it could be hard for you it ain't hard for others.

In my honest opinion I have problem with how tecno phones fades from the market, loses its value in no time and I think this is caused by the high influx of different models. They have to limit how they chunk out phones without significant improvement.

Let the Phantom 6 remain their flagship phone for the next 8 to 10 months before they release something Better but no they will release another one in 2months with P6 specs and 40MP camera.

Consumers have different mobile needs and varying financial clout and Tecno wants to cater for the different market segments hence the release of different models.
Every single OEM adopts this model save for Apple.

Their flaghips are released every 1yr. phantom 5 was released September of 2015, so expect the next phantom 3rd Quarter of 2017 not in 2months time.

IOS=prison
Android=freedom

I won't go as far as saying it is the best flagship of 2016, but its probably not far behind the best.

Xiaomi is cool but the unavailability of a service center in Nigeria has been my biggest problem. A friend's Mi5 had a broken screen one time, we had to order from China.
He should just get a Tecno and rest. Replacement parts are everywhere.

The Z mini was cool. used it for a while. Loved it.

The only reason I won't buy a new iPhone 7 is that I can get a UK used iPhone 6s for a fraction of what it costs or the phantom 6+ sef.

The RAM and processor will make sure there's no lag whatsoever. but seriously, 50 apps at once. All the apps in my 2 phones is not even up to 50 sef.

but seriously what will it cost whatsapp to just let the app continue to run on BlackBerry.
If they dont want to provide updates and support it further no problem, just let it continue to run as it is.

OP I'll suggest you get the L8+. It as twice the RAM of the L8 so you won't experience the hanging.

you can't manually disable images on Google chrome(android). But it will disable images automatically if it detects a slow connection.
