A brand has to be consistent overtime to be termed successful. Don't compare a brand in its infancy to a brand that is tested and trusted, one that has penetrated multiple markets and cater to multiple segments.

Lol. This is very funny man. From Nigeria to UK. I laugh ehnn. The Europeans and Americans look at brands before picking up things. Tecno isn't that brand yet to be picked up. Bigger players like Huawei, Oneplus, Xiaomi et al aren't picked up yet then you think it's gonna be tecno. Lol

How is OnePlus bigger than Tecno oga/madam?
A 3 year old company with just 5 smartphones to their name all of a sudden they are bigger than Tecno that has released loads loads of smartphones and a presence in like 40 countries.

Some had speculated earlier that it was a new phone or tablet line... Others thought maybe an android 7 update.

So what do u guys think about this partnership? Is this move aimed at taking tecno to the global stage or is it still going to focus on Africa market??
Is this convincing enough to show that Tecno is now a serious brand??

I hope it's the former, because they are ripe to be internationally known.

Taking the phantom 6 out of its box, the first thing you’ll notice is how substantial the phone feels in your hand. Even if it isn’t particularly heavy, the metal frame makes the device feel very solid, which is a far cry from what we normally see from TECNO. The plastic days are truly over.

I can see it has 2 rear cameras. Do they work simultaneously or you use dem separately?

It looks cheap to its previous, Phantom 5.

I've seen the both packaging and there's not really much difference. The most important thing is in the content and the phantom 6 is a major upgrade on the phantom 5 except of course the lack of fingerprint scanner.

Mine was in 2001.
I was in JSS 1 and the school just introduced computer science as a subject.
They opened a computer Lab (lol, still don't understand why they would call it a lab)
There was always a practical after every computer class, the topic on that day was Electronic Mail. I got to the part where some select few students will have to create an email address. I was the first student called ( it's only natural cos I was the class rep). We were supposed to be like 5 or so that was selected but i ended up being the only one that created an email account cos the connection was slow AF.
My family wouldn't hear the end of it, I told everyone that cared to listen that I have an email address and proceeded to scribble it out for them without them asking.

How fast Tech moves. Fast forward to 2016 and you can now create an email in under 5 mins from your smartphone. Fun times.
