Hello to see gurus in different house. I was here last month dat my study permit was denied and d reason was that my saqa was not certified. I now went ahead to certify it and I submitted again. I got my passport now and was denied again Base on d same saqa but dis time dey said no original saqa certificate. Both at d abuja embassy. I av been to SA twice which I did not over stay. I am just tired and I don't know wat to do. A beg gurus in d house shud advice me. Some ppl say dat I shud not put SAQA so far I av HESA. Some said may be I should submit in lagos. Pls advice me on abeg

Lol no way. Na wetin Saqa give u. That's what you will use in any SA uni

Yes I get. I feel honours is repetition for Nigerians coming to SA. Your undergraduate degree was four years right?. So u got Bsc hons. Most uni in SA is like 3yrs, then u do one year honours after making 4years. If u did a 4yrs degree I see no reason doing honour. But I know saqa will take u back to honours, that is what they do to most pple sha cos their standard is kinda high. Its also advisable to do so u get used to their system cos its kinda different. All the best.

They always include months to your normal duration. U just need medical aid for a year. Book ur flight when u submitting ur visa application (this was answered already) I think u also need police report I'm not very sure. Cos I did my own student permit in SA. So I don't really know about the process in 9ja

I have completed my BSc in Microbiology graduating with a very good result. i intend to further with Msc in microbiology or biotech. I also TOEFL result of 84/120.

I am here to seek advice on school to choose and how to go about the application process.

which admission opening is available for msc student?

do i need to pay for any application fee to get admission?

are international students permitted to work in Finland?

Please help me through i need to apply.

(1) what's the best possible way in paying for the fee.(their easy accessibility) I.e using my master card or bank wire.
(2) is it a sure that they give admission or its just % like USA visa. Aaahhhhh
(3) do they issue admission letters before the process of sending hard documents.

I am going for a flight training. I used my personal account for the visa.

I attached a statement of account with the school not bank statement from school. I made payment to the school, so I used my statement of account with them. One can use receipt as well.

Don't be desperate. If you are caught it will affect your chances of ever getting a visa for other countries. Embassies now share database. You can use six months to plan for it.

If you are coming with a visitors visa with no intention of returning back, know you can't change status inside South Africa.

@Thecassanova, many thanks. I received 2 years multi entry study permit today after reapplying. I attached a copy of statement of account from the school. In the introductory letter, I stated how much I have with the school. I didn't state why I was denied. In the bank statement, I explained that the N1m deposit is a loan from a cooperative society in my office.

it will serve you better if he can give you statements for both accounts. It makes it easier to show how he makes his money.
Also, he has to state in his reference letter that he will be responsible for the cost of your studies as well as upkeep.

Hello house, i deemed it thoughtful to share my experience during my sojourn to south africa in the last 14 days.
I applied for my visa on the 21st of August at PH VFS center and was told the turn around time will be in a forth night however it turned out to be 6 weeks.

Fast forward, I was granted a 10 days single entry visiting visa. The duration was as a result of my introduction letter where i indicated i was going on a 10 days tourism.

Documents submitted are;

- Personal Bank statement with cash flow
- Bank reference letter.( it was a savings account so i needed two current account holders as references before i was issued the letter.)
- Yellow card
- Employer introduction letter
- Self introduction letter
-CAC certificate
- Share holders document of the company
-International passport
-Hotel reservation
-Flight reservation
-Passport photographs.

I booked with rwandair and i must say the flight was very cool economically and service wise. The layover at Kigali was not stressful rather it was quite fast and swift.
I made a paid hotel reservation from nigeria to ensure a seamless encounter with the immigration. my PTA was above $500 and all was just fine.

SA is a well developed country although the crime rate is alarming nevertheless, it remains the best country in africa as its called the gateway to Africa.
My visit was fun and i hope my narratives help some intending applicants to also experience a hitch free application process.

Visit your bank, tell them you need a reference letter addressed to the South African high commission.
Though not all account qualified for a reference letter, your account must have be running for over 6 months

I applied in Lagos and it came out after 14 days... They didn't call my bank.... I included a bank reference letter though; maybe that's why they didn't

Try it again. I know SAA and Arik (doesnt worj for now) expires after a year of booking/buying . it should excceed Nov 12 now. Maybe the other dates have been booked. But it is one year

You are right. If he is applying next year, why worry about flight reservation in 2017? I have told him he should him to do flight reservation the day before or on the day he wants to apply.

I thought I was the only one who notice this. I stopped replying his quote when I saw he wasn't prepared with the whole application with the way he keeps answering same old questions again.

Study permit application is not rocket science, many people here that got the permit didn't ask many questions before applying. I'm so surprised someone going for postgrad could be asking & taking basic issues this way.

I hope he's not scammed with the way he send PMs, he will only have himself to blame anyways.
