I am a K1 applicant who just scheduled an interview and also willing for my mum to witness my wedding. Kindly advice if it is okay to put my name as a sponsor in filling her ds160 b2 application or I should use my brother's who is a UK citizen.

Please someone should kindly respond. I'd like to know myself sponsoring her will have nothing to do with my K1 application.

My mum followed me when I was going, though my case is abit different from yours. My husband apply for my mum so I think your hubby should invite her , write an invitation letter stating that you guys what her to witness the wedding and of course he will have to fill the affidavit of support along side the letter. That's what we did.

I agree with everything you said except for the bolded. Since abekeade1 has already filled the AOS and paid the stipulated fee ($1225), she doesn't need to pay any fee for Travel Authorisation or Work Permit. She just need to download and fill the required form (I-131) and submit along with the following documents:
1. Evidence of payment of the AOS fee (NOA1 of AOS and a photocopy of the money order used)
2. Form G-1145
3. Two identical passport photos
4. Copy of birth certificate
5. Certified copy of marriage certificate
6. Copy of NOA1 and NOA2 of i129f
7. Copy of International Passport Biodata page
8. Copy of K1 Visa page and i94 printout
9. Supporting documents for advanced parole (depends on the reason you are giving for applying for advanced parole eg a relative's doctors report if the reason is to go see a sick relative OR a wedding invitation letter if the reason is to attend a wedding etc)

Hi. If you did not file for Advance Parole (Travel Authorization) when you applied for the AOS then you'll need to file now if you want to travel or wait till you get the green card.

You will have to pay the fee for the travel authorization. You can get the form from the USCUS website and submit with requested documents.

Ofcourse you can file for your son....and its better you file now if you want to travel June/July next year because it takes about 5 to 7 months to process.

When I file for adjustment of status and green card, I didnt apply for administrative parole. Please can I still do it now and how do I go about it ? I am so confused. Also can I apply for my son (8yrs) too, we are all traveling together.

The AOS (adjustment of status) form is the form you have to fill after getting married to your fiance. Its an application for greencard.

No you won't be given back after inspection at the POE. You were given a copy as well by the clinic...a photocopy. You are to make a copy of that photocopy and attach to the AOS form along with other required documents when the time comes.

A CD was attached with the DS3025. Is the CD also my copy or that will be for the officers at the point of entry as well?

MMR is not taken every month. Its only taken twice. I advice you go take the remaining shot. It's much cheaper here in Nigeria.

You won't have any issue with the immigration guys for not taking the second dose since your DS3025 says proper vaccination were taken but I recommend you take it for health reasons.

Please keep your DS3025 safe. You'll need it when submitting your AOS form. If you misplace it, you will have to do another round of medicals in the States!

@Legit please what is AOS form?
And I thought we were asked to give the DS3025 to the guys at the point of entry. So we will be given back after inspection ?

Hello everyone, been awhile. Just wondering where una dey?

So we got our visa approved today all glory belongs to God Almighty.

It all started with a 3am wakeup alarm. Bath the babies. (My son had his shower yesterday night so it was easy for us this morning as he just brushed his teeth, rinse his face and dress up so as myself and my mum.

We left home around 4:24am and got to the embassy car park around to 5am. (The car park opens 5:00am ish.)

Waited at the entrance till around 7:00am before they started calling non immigrant /immigrants in.
We were scanned at the point of entry before going in and were directed to the computer section and are given nos.

The officers directed us in and were called upon to submit my documents
1. Passport
2. DS 160
3. Affidavit form
4. Birth.cert. (copies)
5. Tax
6. Passport photos e.t.c

Took our fingerprint and wait for our nos.to be called.

After like 2 and a half hrs, we were called and this was our coms.below;�

Me: good morning ma'am
VO: good morning
Who.is the person waiting for you?
Me:.my.fiancee
VO: How and were do you meet?
How many times have you seen in person ?
Where and when?
Do you have pics to show me?
Where did you take this pic?
You have kids for him right?
Can I see their birth certificate and US passport ?
Me: no I did not bring it since I am the one having the interview, I actually thought you would have same on your system.
VO: you should bring it along in case of next time.

Questions continue
What does he do?
Has he ever been married before?
Tell me about his life over there?
Show me pix of your son since baby till now.
(She keeps typing all along ) and the next thing I heard was i have approved you. Issued me a white paper and asked me to wait 5 working days for me to get our passport at DHL office here in VI.
We said thank you and we left.

He has done it for me x2

Their US Passport has been issued to us and I have them with me. Do I go with it, explain to them , and even show them so they can allow my mum with the other baby in?

I am so worried right now. Please can anyone advise me on what I can do?

@Drenimarcus, I will advise you do that at their clinic if you are using Q life that what I did yesterday. They didn't accept the ones I showed them.

Morning everyone. How is it going with us. To those that have their visa congrats and may God continue to show His worthiness in our lived and to those that are yet to get theirs God will grant and show His favour to all of us too.

So I went for my medical yesterday, though was stressful but I enjoyed my stay at Q life. All staff were so nice to us including the receptionist people are complaining about. (Well maybe because I went with my twins babies). It was done first come first staff.

Attached is all needed to know and have before you can be attended to. This is for those that have not done their and willing to use Q life.

Left my house around 5:30am and we got their around 8:30am being Monday and the traffic was terrible.
We waited for our turn and we finished around 2:00pm.
**please make sure your passport photo is the same size stated in this attached or you will be turned back to get another one outside their premises which will cost you 1k for 8 copied.

Before we leave, we were given an immunization card where the shot we collected was written and the subsequent if any at the nursing station where your immunization was given.

Hello everyone. @ Legit and all please can I use the same picture I used while filling out the DS 160 form as my passport photograph? If the photo was accepted while submitting for the DS 160 online , does that means I can print same to take to the embassy?

You write a letter of request on A4 paper with your handwriting and submit it to any airtel office, it takes 1-2 weeks to get it done...
