Lincoln's health was an issue throughout his presidency

Buhari's health is already an issue
Show me someone who does not have any health issues..
How often does GEJ fly to London for medical check ups?

The only health issue the constitution frowns at is if someone is a lunatic.

At least you've admitted GEJ is going back to otuoke.
For the civil war part, we know what Asari dokubo and his likes are planning to do, don't worry, The General is capable and not clueless.

Nigeria, is a funny place/ Buhari, planned to address the press about his certificate today, on the same day, The Army released his entry documents. What a coincidence

If Buhari, doesn't have his WAEC with him, and assumed that it was with the Army, where did he see his WAEC Nohuh
That should be your next assignment for this week, you should submit your results next week.

I like the way Buhari is engaging these dullards. Some bones for you to keep you busy.

Get your fact right before you post falsity here.

The supreme court gave a verdict that inec does not have the power to disqualify a candidate wishing to contest election.

It is the court that has the power to disqualify a candidate or the party under the which the candidate is contesting if it so wishes.

Did you not read in the papers yesterday where some political parties fielded underaged candidates who will comtest elections.

It was clear they have circumvented the constitution,yet inec went ahead to register them.Is it inec fault that those candidates were registered to contest

in the face of glaring irregularities? The answer is no.

This is same situation that Buhari is confronting.
So why all the noise? Don't you know your civil right? GO TO COURT!!!!
Screaming on Nairaland will not disqualify Buhari, don't you think so?

Mr Man, INEC is not an interpreter of the law, INEC remains a neutral umpire in this game and if Buhari refuses to co-operate he may end up campaigning in one of the Federal Courts........#BuhariMustShowUsHisCertificate# that's all
Don't digress.
The constitution says "(d) any other qualification acceptable by the Independent National Electoral Commission".
Now my question is this, did INEC tell you it does not accept the qualifications as claimed by GMB?

Please take this as a learning process.

PoliticsRe: Is Buhari Bigger Than Nigeria's Constitution? by abes(m): 12:05am On Jan 21, 2015
"School Certificate or its equivalent" means

(a) a Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent, or Grade II Teacher’s Certificate, the City and Guilds Certificate; or

(b) education up to Secondary School Certificate level; or

(c) Primary Six School Leaving Certificate or its equivalent and -

(i) service in the public or private sector in the Federation in any capacity acceptable to the Independent National Electoral Commission for a minimum of ten years, and

(ii) attendance at courses and training in such institutions as may be acceptable to the Independent National Electoral Commission for periods totalling up to a minimum of one year, and

(iii) the ability to read, write, understand and communicate in the English language to the satisfaction of the Independent National Electoral Commission, and

(d) any other qualification acceptable by the Independent National Electoral Commission
The part quoted above is from Section 318(1) of the Constitution.

tomakint, I believe you can read and write. What do you have to say about the interpretation of the term "School Certificate or its equivalent" according to the constitution? Please be civil.

A typical example of the problem Nigeria is facing. We are still talking about Buhari here and moreso, why should you ask me about Jonathan's policy on education. Do I look like I know them?
Comment in accordance to the topic being discussed.
You mean you don't give a damn about the current government's policy on education, but you suddenly find it important to scream for the incoming government's policy?
Anyway, now that you have it, what do you have to say?
PoliticsRe: What Is Buhari's Policy On Education? by abes(m): 9:53pm On Jan 03, 2015
EDUCATION
1. Fully implement and enforce the provisions of the Universal Basic Education Act with emphasis on gender equity in primary and secondary school enrollment whilst improving the quality and substance of our schools;
2. Targeting up to 15% of our annual budget for this critical sector whilst making substantial investments in training quality teachers at all levels of the educational system;
3. Implement performance based education as against the current certificate based qualification;
4. Enhance teacher training and improve the competence of teachers along with vigorous national inspection;
5. Make learning experiences more meaningful for children and make education more cost-effective;
6. Develop and promote effective use of innovative teaching methods/materials in schools;
7. Ensure a greater proportion of expenditure on university education is devoted to Science and Technology with more spaces allocated to science and technology oriented courses;
8. Establish at least six new universities of science and technology with satellite campuses in various states;
9. Establish technical colleges and vocational centers in each state of the federation;
10. Provide more conducive environment for private sector participation in all levels of education;
11. Establish six centers of excellence to address the needs of special education;
I particularly like No 3, competence over certifications (papers that can be bought), we will get there.

PoliticsRe: Imbibe Teachings Of Prophet Mohammed, Says Tambuwal by abes(m):
This is President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan's message:

As we celebrate Eid el Maulud, I felicitate with the Muslim Ummah on this special day.

All Nigerians must seize the opportunity of Eid-el-Maulud to deeply reflect on the need for greater application of Prophet Mohammed's teachings which border on piety, charity, tolerance, justice and peaceful co-existence with others in the collective effort to overcome current national challenges.

I reassure Muslims and all other Nigerians that the Federal Government will do all within its powers to ensure that the general elections in February are credible and violence-free.

I believe that this is essential to ensure that Nigeria remains politically stable and continues on a steady path to the fulfillment of our peoples’ collective vision of a strong, united and prosperous nation.

I assure Muslims and other Nigerians that this administration will continue to be guided by the ideals of fairness, equity and justice for all in its leadership of the country.

Under my watch as President, no Nigerian will ever be discriminated against on the basis of religion, ethnicity or social standing.

Further, I reaffirm my personal commitment to working diligently and tirelessly to ensure the successful implementation of Federal Government’s agenda for national transformation.

To this end, I urge Muslims and all other Nigerians to support the continuation of this administration’s efforts to build a better nation. GEJ

So an unknown source in the military = army, and it's boldly written on vanguard paper as the army official source. Seriously? Vanguard?

Shame

I don't know your age but may I remind you that School Principals and public servants were meant to leap frog and be flogged for coming late to school or work instead of the disciplinary measures contained in civil service code of conduct.

If you are waiting for a cab, you are meant to queue on line and any attempt to change your mind and leave for another alternative will be punished with koboko or severe corporal punishments.

Come to the market and see wahala where Buhari's boys in uniform are parading to know how much a petty trader sold a commodity to determine if it was a fair price or not.

Bros, I need to write my own book "On my Watch" to tell the stories as it happened in Aba for the younger generation to have a glimpse of how we were governed then and to know that there wasn't any difference between Buhari's regime and ISIL in Iraq.
Are you saying saying Buhari will start flogging Nigerians when he becomes a democratically elected president of Nigeria? (I think some of you deserve some floggings).
More people have died in GEJ's administration than other countries with natural disasters.
