I just noticed something with this trade session, the Asian currencies are doing well against their counterparts at the moment but I don’t know how to enter the trade make I no go see red.

Anytime my trade dey red, I just feel bad about it, how I wan take handle live account like this?

Lol. My demo "live account preparation" account is currently running at about -300 pips. I'm not scared (its funny saying it with a demo account) even though I treat it and feel it like a live account and do you know why?
Mr. Gabson taught us here to "dance" when there is a lost trade because we would always get it back in multiples(provided you stick to your strategy).
It only takes a trade or two to make those multiples because the rule is
"Cut your losses short and maximize profitable trades"

Please don't lose your mind yet o, we never even handle live account. What would happen then?

Hehe I no be boss I be amateur by default. Till I grow my demo account and I’m confident, I go just dey find my forex account till I’m ready.

Reading this, just helped my mental health because all trades I’ve been making on my demo account are just reds and no blues. I tried making technical analysis where I draw horizontal lines of which I don’t even know what they mean and when to enter the market for buy or sell and I’m getting burnt seriously and it’s having effect on my confidence to trade.

Worst part is I read pdfs frequently but application is zero :/ maybe I should just keep trying as this is a stage of growth in learning.

The standard rule is don't trade 3 hours before major news.

But some people are actually news traders, in all of here, na only two persons i don see we dey forecast news wella.

Which forex news outlets do you make use before trading or you don’t consider it necessary. Apologies if I’m asking a lot lately.

I did some light reading and noticed some brokers on the list allows $1 deposits, this is interesting because I’ve been trying to secure funds to start trading, maybe I’ll just start with a lower balance.

You have been greatly misled,

Secondly, slow down a bit brother, the market is always there for you. Learn to understand the market first and find what works best for you, don't be in a hurry, it's not a get rich quick scheme else you get burnt badly.
Ignore the prop firm talks.
For good brokers i would a list in the image below, the bots always find a way to ban me when we discuss brokers here

From my analysis, I think the market will sell because of the last candle that formed. The sellers are having their way with the market. Though I don’t really know if I’m correct but from my point it’s a bearish candle next or so. Kindly correct me.

Thanks for this. If I understand you correctly, this broker gives a trader $84 to make profit of $10k or you’re going to be rewarded $84 after making high profit from a demo account of $10k and if it’s the latter, how much profit is a trader supposed to make from the $10k demo account?

guy with your $70-100 , practice with your demo properly, adopt a strategy and measure your growth with any props firm rules and how you were able to stay by them ,, then you purchase a large account from them ... like myforexfunds would give you a $10000 challenge account for $84 .. pass it and start earning properly with no stress .. just my advice on the easy route to the top lol

Hi good evening all. I started reading about forex over two weeks now because my flat mate has been talking about it for a while. I also went through most of the pages on the thread and hopefully before the end of my Nysc service, I’ll have gain grounds with my learning and trade a live account.

Any suggestions for brokers I can setup a demo account with apart from Octafx I currently use. The reason behind this is because I want to start with a small capital on my demo since the demo account I have is large to the tone of $5k and I look forward to starting with let’s say $70-$100 which is realistic for me.

I’ll appreciate your suggestions and secondly how can the data and news from forexfactory[.]com be used to interpret the market if to sell, buy or just observe.

I’ll be asking further questions as to issues I don’t understand as time goes on.

Hi good work with what you’re doing here. I have been applying to foreign agencies and companies but they keep telling me their regulations don’t allow foreigners to be employed.
Not that you can’t get a foreign job but it’s quite difficult.
I also want to appreciate the fact that you shared information about some local agencies that performs recruitment for these multi National companies in Nigeria which is the best way to go as a seafarer and if you also know people in the industry that can help too, that would be an addition.
I’m still on the search also for Deck Cadet placement even if the pay is small at the moment, na just the experience and sea time I need. I’ll drop some crewing agencies I know of also though with how things are in the country most ships are at anchorage but just drop your applications to them.

If it's not available for 190, 189 or 491, I dont put mouth. Also, I haven't seen anyone assess with AMSA before.
