Side note: why do you think almost 99% of people here trade demo if forex is truly the way to riches/wealth, some have been on this forum more than 6years and cannot boast of a constant forex income still yet. The only thing that saved me by now is the fact that I can dust my CV any single moment and get a job the next day, else, na God know where son of man go dey by now.

In essence, have a sure income, have a great career (field), where you can vouch for a constant and regular income which you can pull fund from to trade forex, and when you do, don't expect much from it.

Boss, what he posted was a commitment of traders report - it is part of sentiment analysis. I don't use sentiment analysis but if you want to know more about it, here are two videos on the subject. Correlation dey important to system i dey use. That GU looked super convincing for a short - na just correlation wey make me avoid am. The thing with correlation wey i don notice be this :
GBPUSD and EURGBP (-ve)
GBPUSD and DXY (-ve)
EURUSD and GBPUSD (+ve)
AUDUSD and EURAUD (-ve)
EURUSD and USDCHF , USDCAD (-ve)

Correlation is not a bar- by- bar thing ; one fit dey trend and the other one go dey range. One fit delay in movement before the other one.
IT CAN NEVER EVER be a substitute for support and resistance - it is just a confirmation tool to help in determining direction and to avoid overrisking.
About not taking short trades at that area, that is a very wise decision. It is not worth it to predict trend following and end up submitting your profits back to the market.
